Calling all inventors!!!!

Last week you got to present and look at a lot of great inventions from your fellow classmates. What is an invention that you would actually want to buy and why?

Who would you like to give praise to for a particular part of the invention presentation that you liked?

These can be two different people/inventions.

Kindness Retreat (ICI)

Kindness is a small thing that can not be measured until it is given to you by someone else. It matters a lot in how you interact with each other and how you show kindness to others.

Last week we attended the Kindness Retreat. I thought that it was a wonderful day of throwing out kindness to others in our grade level. To follow up with the idea of using ICI (Interrupt, Compliment, Invite Away) if you see something happening that you don't think is appropriate.

Let's write a story. . . In your post write a story in which you help a classmate get away from the bully using ICI. Choose a setting: Perhaps you are out on the playground, in the lunchroom, or on the bus.

Remember, don't use any real names of students in our class or in 5th grade. Practicing these 3 steps to be a hero will help you do this in real life. Go for it!!!!!
