Vacations can be a great way to relax, it could be anything from going out of state, to a water park, or even to going to visit a relative. Let us know what you did on your vacation.

For my summer break I went to Galesburg,Illinois to visit my family that lives there! We did many things there like have a birthday party for my cousin and slide on the Slip 'n'slide in my grandma's backyard! We would also have family over at my grandmother's house for dinner! But my favorite part was going to Chicago, Illinois! We would shop, shop, shop there forever! My favorite store there would have to be the American Girl Doll store! It was two stories so it was massive! I loved Chgicago but my favorite part of that trip would have to be spending time with family I don't get to see!
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went camping, saw fireworks, went swimming, spent a weekend at the Pointe Hilton for my sister's birthday and played X-Box Live.
ReplyDeleteI also saw GI Joe, Ice Age 3 and G-Force at the movies.
My summer vacation was awesome we went to Disney World and Califonia. In Disney World I went on every ride. I also wento to the waterparks. It was so much fun. In Califonia we went to Seaworld and the beach. Seaworld was fun because I saw the killer whales, dolphins, seaotters, petsrule, penguins, and sharks. I also went on Journey To Atlantas and Wild Artic. At the beach I went boogie boarding, built sand castles, swam, and buried myself in sand. Those were my vactions. But I also went paintballing.
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went camping with my brothers, grandma, grandpa, and their two little dogs. We camped at Woods Canyon Lake and it was beautiful!We fished for crawfish by stringing beef jerky onto a string and they just walked right up and grabbed onto it. One time my brother caught a HUGE one and then flung it on to me and i started freaking out!!! On the drive home we stopped at something called "The Edge" and it was a huge edge of a mountain or something and if you looked down all you can see is trees all over!!! It was so cool!
ReplyDeleteThis summer I traveled to Puerto Rico, and I went snorkeling at beautiful reefs. Then I went to the bioluminescent bay. I also went to California where I rode roller costers at Knottsberry Farm. I watched my Titi do dragon boat racing. Before school started, I went to Sedona and took a jeep tour to the top of a canyon.
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went to Michigan with my mom and my brother. We saw three sets of my grandparents. I went to Mackinac island with my Grandma Marti and my cousins. It was so fun. We road on top of the ferry to get there. It was freezing that day. The hotel we stayed at had a beach. But it was too cold to swim in. So we just hung out at the pool and hot tub. We got three gigantic blocks of the fudge that Mackinac Island is famous for. At grandma Doty's house we went shopping and played basketball. Lastly, we went to my grandpa's house. We helped with the horses and chickens. Then he taught us how to shoot a gun. He knows how to handle guns safely because he used to be a police officer.
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went to San Diego, California with my family. We stayed right on the beach in a beach house. When the windows were opened, we could hear the waves. We went to the San Diego Zoo, the beach, parasailing, and jet skiing. The weather was so nice. It was much cooler than Phoenix. My favorite thing we did was parasailing. I got up so far up in the air and I could see the ocean all around me. I had a great time.
ReplyDeleteOver summer I went to Wet n Wild water park in AZ and it was really fun. Me, my mom and dad all went on water rides that I thought were really scary but my parents thought that it was really an adventure. We rode on the desert racers which takes you head first on a racing mat and I won. We also rode the tornado which was extremely scary this is what you do you sit on a clover leaf tube you will spin around the tornado’s funnel splashing back and forth through the menacing, swirling water before being released into the calm shallows below. One more ride I will talk about is Mammoth Falls. The falls drop you deep down then goes vertical, shooting up a wall then falling back. It’s awesome!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOver the summer I went to San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, the Grand Canyon,Sedona, and Prescott. In San Francisco and Oakland we were joined by my Uncle, Aunt,and cousin. In San Francisco we went to a San Francisco Giants (baseball team) game. We also went to the Aquariaum and Alcatraz. We also went to see the Oakland Athletics play. In Seattle we went to see a Mariners game and toured the Boeing Airplane Facility. In Portland we went to see friends of our family. My dad's family from Norway came to visit and we took them to Sedona, Prescott, and the Grand Canyon. In Prescott we went to the World's Oldest Rodeo and visited with my Aunt and Uncle. At the Grand Canyon we all hiked 1.5 miles down into the Canyon.
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went to San Antonio. While I was there I went to a catfish farm but did not catch any catfish. :( I did get to see a catfish but it was too small to keep. Another place I went was Six Flags Fiest Texas. I rode all the rides with my sister. Then we went to the zoo and the Alamo. I love Texas!
ReplyDeleteThis summer I went to China, Beijing, Shen Zhen, and Goungdoa. I arrived in Shen Zhen and I just took walks every now and then I drove to Goungdoa in an Infiniti fx35 and went fishing there, although there were only fat goldfish. Then I went to Beijing and went to the Forbidden city, it was huge I can't believe he had it all to himself! Then I went back to Goangdoa and got packed to go to a vacation place. ReplyDeleteI saw scorpions and seafood(alive!)and saw a lamborghini Gallardo. I packed up and went home. I was gone for a month, and man it is hot over here in Phoenix!
This is my dog daisy. We took her to Sedona with us. We had fires there. We camped in a tent. We took daisy on lots of walk.
ReplyDeleteThis summer we visited my mom's best friend Kiko and her family who live in northern California, near Santa Cruz! We took our RV and our dog Boo and travelled 12 hours to get there. We did a lot of fun things with my friends Therrin and Dax. We went to the California Academy of Science museum in San Francisco,saw a seahorse exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, played on the boardwalk and of course, hung out at the beach! At the boardwalk I rode a huge, scary rollercoaster and much more! We also went to see a Broadway show in the city called "Wicked". It was fantastic! I loved the weather there because it was so much cooler than here and I love wearing hoodies! It was hard to leave and come back to the desert. I had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThis summer i went to Utah. I went camping in the mountain at redwood. We played games and roasted hot dags and marsh mellows. We also went to logoon it is a them park there. I went with my mom,cousins,aunt uncle,grandma,and bros.I went on Wicked and Collasess it was a ride there.My mom and i went to the mall "It is a girls day'. We had a blast in Utah you should go there some day you will to have a blast.
