You need to find your exact height, and you have no measuring tools available. How will you do it?

I would use the hight of my friend to verify mine.Like my friend Devon is 4.5 and i'm an inch taller than her so i'm 4.6.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to find my exact height and I had no measuring tools I would figure out how to make measurement by creating my own yard stick out of paper and I would make sure each inch is exact.
ReplyDeleteIf you had no measuring tools to figure out your own height, you would probably have to go againest a wall and get a pencil and mark it. Then use your smallest toe, which is about an inch.So you can measure your height.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to find my exact height with out measuring tools.1 is I would use my thumb because my thumb is like a inch.But if I didn't know my thumb is like a inch you could use differnt things like a the piece of a pencial/a stick.So my point is that you can use diffrent things that you can use.

ReplyDeleteIf you have no measuring tools and you want to know your exact height. First, find a small object that you know the exact height of. Second, stand against the wall and mark your height on the wall. Next use your object as a measuring unit and all you have to do is add all the inches up.
ReplyDeleteIf you need to find your exact height and you don't have any measuring tools, you could use a small object that you know is an inch or any height and measure with that or use your fingers like your thumb is probably 1 inch. You could also make your own measuring tool by taking that object, a piece of paper and a pencil and just mark every inch or so and add them up to find your height.
ReplyDeleteYou would have to take like for example an unsharpened pencil and have somebody else and they would take the pencil and put it at your toes and put your finger where the last mark was and keep going up and counting.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to find my exact height with no measuring tools I would use a marker or sharpie to mark how tall I am on the wall and then I aould use a 3x5 index card and fold the 3 side into three sections so each section would be one inch. Thats would I would use to measure my exact height if I had no measuring tools.

ReplyDeleteIf I didn`t have any measuring tools, I would mark my height on the wall. Then I would use the top part of my thumb, which measures one inch, to make a ruler on a piece of cardboard. I would then measure the space I marked on the wall with my homemade ruler.
ReplyDeleteI would measure myself with a sandwich. I would use a foot long sandwich to measure because I know that a foot long measures 12 inches. I would start at the bottom and work my way up. Then I would eat what's left.
ReplyDeleteIf you had to find your exact height you could mark your height on the wall and use a peice of string measure from the ground up and use an object that you know how tall it is and then measure the string with the object and add it all up.
ReplyDeleteIf you had no measuring tool and would need to find my exact heigh this is what I would do. First, I would use the knowledge I already know from years past to figure it out. The thing that my teacher told me last year was that each inch is equal to one knuckle. So I would have some one mark where my head stopped on a wall. Then I would take my knuckle and start counting. When I finally stopped counting because, I reached to where my mark was on the wall, I would know my answer.
ReplyDeleteif you had to measure yourself i would, go agenst the wall and draw a line to were i was. Then, i would take my fingers and put them agenst my nose and that is probely a inch and then start to go up from there. or i would put w line were i was and then someone that is a little shorter or taller trhen me i would ask them there size and then subtract from there if that is possible.

You could make a home made ruler. Its about the size of your thumb nail.You could also draw a line from where you are agaist a wall.
ReplyDeleteif you did not have a ruler or any measuring tools i would use lite a hammer or a screw driver or a dollar bill because all of those are close to a foot besides the dollar, but the dollar is close to a half of a foot.
ReplyDeleteIf I did not have any measuring tools and I wanted to find out my hight, I would use a one inch tile, and mark how tall I am on the door frame with a pencil. Then, I will take the one inch tile and flip it upwards on the door frame till I get to twelve inches and mark it. Next, I can right down on a peice of paper, one foot. I can do this till I need to use a more percise prop than an inch tile. So, I can use my pinky horizantally for centemeters and wright down how many pinky lenths it takes. Now I know how tall I am in feet, inches, and centimeeters.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no mesauring tools and i need an exact height I would mark like one inch two inch thre inch (etc.) until i ran out of space then i would get a new stick and do the same thing. I would tape the sticks against the so they are straight and that u could see the numbers together. They way I would mark the inch was by putting my thumb down because your thumb is about an inch.That's how I would measure if i didn't have any tools.
ReplyDeleteI would change how long it is. Because I think it is to short. But it is plenty high. And I would measure it by my thumb if the world did not have tools to measure.
