What do you think is the meaning of the quote, "Time waits for no one"?
Explain your answer using at least 5 sentences that are well thought out and detailed.
I think "Time waits for no one" means that you can't stop time. So that quote is like a saying that sinse you can't stop it, it won't wait for you. And time is impossible to stop so it waits for no one.
I think "Time waits for no one" means that if you're late catching the train, the train won't wait for you to come. The train has a schedule to keep. You can't show up late and expect the train to be waiting right there for you. Same with school, if you're late for school, school can't wait for you. So I think "Time waits for no one" means you can't show up late for something then expect it to wait for you because, time waits for no one.
I think the meaning of the quote, "Time waits for no one" means that if you are in a hurry to get somewhere, time doesn't just stop. You still have to hurry up as best you could to get to wherever you want to be. And if your late to go to the movies, the movie will still start without you. In other words, time doesn't wait for you. Time will always keep moving no matter what.
I think the quote, "Time waits for no one" means that, like you have an assignment do tomorrow, but you still have to do alot of things to finish it. I think it also means that you hurry/rush to finish,get to somewhere in time. It means to try to get to your destination on time. No matter how fast your moving, time will be ticing. The qoute is saying that it wont stop and it never will even for the most important person or thing. I think that saying was made up for all the time that passes. And another reason is you don't even know it! The first time you look at the clock it is 10:00 and then the next time you look it's 10:30! The main definition would be that time never stops, it just keeps going. You may not be ready but time keeps going

Also it could mean like if your having fun you might want time to stop. I once had a really fun party and wanted time to stop but of course it wont. Those are just some ideas I had that for that saying.
