Of the events that we have studied in class, which do you think had the most impact or the most importance in leading to the Revolutionary War? In other words, which event was the most important and why?
Make sure that you explain why you choose the event that you did and get all of us to understand your reasoning.
Some of the events included but are not limited to:
Boston Tea Party
Sons of Liberty
Daughters of Liberty
Committees of Correspondence
Boston Massacre
Stamp Act
Intolerable Acts
1st Continental Congress
I think the Daughters of Liberty because the woman started standing up for themselves and making there own things instead of buying them they made there own tea and there clothes out of wool and they started sewing and weaving. When they started to make there own thing instead of buying them off of somebody that was called a boycott.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Massacre is because colonists were fighting for their freedom and to stop taxes. They didn't think the things England made them do were all that fair, so they fought a long war with whatever they have.
ReplyDeleteI think that the Boston Tea party lead the most to the revolution because the British got really mad because they dumped all their tea into the harbor. So after that the British made their soliders stay with them. So if i were one of the people living in Boston I would want to start a war too. Thats is why I think the Revolution war started.
ReplyDeleteI think the Intolerable acts becuase it colonists were fight for their freedom so they did the Boston Tea party but then Britain punished them by sending British soldiers into their houses, and closing the Boston port.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Tea Party was the most important because it lead to a lot of big things like having soldiers in everyones houses and closing the port to Boston
ReplyDeleteI think the intolerable acts because the colonists were getting punished from the bostin tea party and soldiers had to live in the colonists home now that really ticed them off.Thats why I think the intolerable acts lead to the revalutionary war the most.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Tea Party had the biggest impact of leading to the Revolutionary War because when the colonists dumped all the tea into the harbor it infuriorated the British. Also, this is what lead to the intolerable acts.
ReplyDeleteAnd then, when the soilders started arriving at Boston, probably both Britain and Boston Wanted to start a war. Boston was mad that they had to shelter the British soldiers and their port was closed till they payed off the tea they spilled and the British were mad the did that.
I think it was the Boston Tea Party because the colonits got mad so they threw all the tea to the ocean. After that thats when the british soliders start coming in.They start living in their houeses. Then they close the harbor.I think thats how it lea to the american revoltion.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Tea Party is the most important because the colonists dumped the tea in the Boston Harbor, and king George the 3 got mad and said that they would be punished for dumping the tea, also because they did that is that they didn't want to pay tea taxes anymore. So what Britian did is that he told the colonist that the "red coats" are going stay with the colonist, to feed them and give them a place to sleep, they also closed the port so that no ships could go in or out, until the colonist pay back all the money for the tea that they dumped in the harbor. When they were on the ship they dressed up as Mohawk Indians. What they did about the taxes, the colonist were saying "No Taxation With Out Reputaion."
ReplyDeleteI think the Intolerble Acts had the most impact because.....the colonist didn't like British soldiers living in thier houses. Also they didn't like that ships could not go in or out of the harbor. In other words the harbor was closed. So the colonist got so mad they started the Revolutionary War.
ReplyDeleteI think the event that leaded to the Revolutionary War the most was the intolerable acts. The acts made Boston really mad because they had British soldiers live with them in their houses, and they had to share whatever they had. Also the British had closed the port of Boston so they couldn’t get food & materials they needed from all over the world.
ReplyDeleteI think the most important event that led to the Revolutionary War was the Boston Tea Party because the colonists dumped all the tea into the harbor to stop the tea taxes. The colonists got punished for throwing all the tea into the harbor by closing the port so no boats could get in or out and they had the soldiers stay in the colonists homes and made them give them food and shelter. The Boston Tea Party also made Britain mad, which eventually started the Revolutionary War.

ReplyDeleteI think the most important event that led to the Revolutionary war was the boston tea party because the boston tea party got mad at the colonist because the colonist dumped all the tea in the ocean and I think the colonist did that because the colonist were mad that they had to pay taxes for everything and it made the colonist poor and sick. So the boston group and the colonist deside to fight and that caused them to start a Revolutionary War.
ReplyDeleteI think the most important part that lead to the American revolution boston tea party. It was important because the colonists dressed up as the indians and went on the british boat and dumpped all the good tea. So that lead to punishment, and so the british went in thre homes and slepped in them and ate there food. So that is why it lead to the American Revolution.
ReplyDeleteI think that the most important event was the Boston Tea Party. It was important becuase the British now started to get really mad and as punishment, the British soldiers had to live in the colonists homes and ate their food and the British also closed the Port Of Boston so that no ships could get in or out.
ReplyDeleteOut of all of the events that lead to the Revolutionary War I think that the Boston Massicre was the main cause of the war. Also I think that the massacre was the main cause of the war because alot of innocent colonists were killed for no reason at all. Also the people who started the Boston Massacre were let go with no criminal charges what so ever. The colonists got really ticked that some of the colonists were killed and wounded, those that died at the Boston Massacre probably had a caring, loving family. These are the few reasons why I think that the Boston Massacre was the main cause of the Revolutionary War.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Tea Party led to the American revolution the most. Because when they dumped the tea in the water King George got made and made the Intolerable Acts. The Intolerable Acts had made the colonists made because the king told them they had to pay for all the tea. So the king told them that he was going to block the ports so we cant trade with other countrys and stuff. He also sent soldiers over to the colonists to live in their houses and eat food like they were part of their family. All just to pay for the tea. That is why I chose the Boston Tea Party. NOT REALLY A PARTY IS IT!
ReplyDeleteI mean the Revolutionary War.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Massacre because of all the fighting and guns. The Boston Tea Party was most important because they proved that they weren't going to trade with Britan.
ReplyDeleteI think it was the Tea Tax because. Boston did not want tea. But British wanted to sell it to Boston. So the British would come and Boston got mad. So all the Tea that came from the British. Boston would dump all the Tea into the harbor. And then The British did not like it because. All that Tea was useful. So the British never came back. But they did but for War. I think that was a hard time for the Boston people they had to fight back and they had no weapons. And the British was more powerful than the Boston people. That is all.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston Tea party led to the Revolutionary war the most. The reason I think it did was because tea was really important back then. I think Boston should've beeen mad because they would not make as much money because they would put tax on everything especially tea! This definetely made the bubbles start bubbling alot! I think WE WERE THE SMART ones because boston deserved it and it was really clever if them to dump there tea into the harbor and I liked how they dressed up like indians to but that probably made Boston feel slightly dumb thinking we were actually indians!
ReplyDeleteI think the most important event leading to the Revolutionary War was the Boston Tea Party. The Colinists were protesting high tea taxes. The Colinists said we can live without tea. So to show they didn't need it they dumped the tea into the harbor. The Boston Tea Party had the most impact because the Colinists stood up to Britain.
ReplyDeleteI think the bosten massurcure made the most inpact because it was a war. the british won but i think that all of the events made inpact. The Intalerable acts, The bosten tea party and The bosten massucer all took its place in to leading to the revoulionary war.
ReplyDeleteI think the Boston masacur was the most important. It was important because it is where the fighting started.
ReplyDeleteI think that the most important event that lead to the revolutionary war was the Boston Massacre. This is my opinion because it made the the colonists extremely angry. The Boston Massacre took place in Boston and when then British started to fire their guns the colonists were mad. This was an unfair fight because the British had no reason to start firing their guns excpet that they were afraid that the colonists would do something to them. When the British were brought to court and found not guilty of murder the colonists were in rage and ready to fight. This is why I think that the Boston Massacre was the most important even of them all that lead to the American Revolution.
ReplyDeleteI think the boston massacre was the most important. It was important because it is where the fighting started.
ReplyDeleteI think the tea party was inportent becaus the Patereits did what they felt.
