If you could leave a time capsule the size of a microwave oven to be found centuries from now, what would you put inside it?
Why would you include those items and what do you think they would say about our society right now?

I would put a camera with photos of places around the world for other people in the future to see how they looked back in this era. I would also put a game system in the capsule so they could see the technology we had. I would also put some football or baseball cards to show how good players were back then. I would also like them to see how we lived so I would put a DVD to show them how my family lived. I think they would think our society was interesting because we are advanced.
ReplyDeleteI would put a picture of me so they would know who put all of the stuff in the time capsule. Iwould also put a fashion magazine to tell them what was in style. I would put in a hairstyling magazine to tell them what hairstyles were in. Also I would put a cell phone in the time capsule so they could see what we used to send messages to eachother. lastly I would put a picture of an average home that most people liv in to show them what the houses look like.
ReplyDeleteIf i made a time capsule and had to put things in it i think i would put a computer in there to people in centries they could see our Technology. I would put a picture of a car in there because in the future there cars will be alot different. Just like how one of us see's a picture of a car From the 80s or the 70s it looks kind of cool and funny. The Two last things i would put in would be an ipod to see the music we had. We have all these mixers and voice changers it would most likley sound creepy and weird to people in the future. The very last thing i would put in a time capsule would be an amount of instruments depending how much room there is i would put a drum a saxaphone and a flute. I put these certain insturments in so people could play them and see what instruments sound like today. Those are all the things i wold put in a time capsule and in the future who ever where to find it would be lucky and smart about what we have today.
ReplyDeleteIf I would leave a time capsule I would put a picture of Phoenix in it. Phoenix might be different when the time capsule is found so it would show people what this city looked like. I would also take a picture of my houses because in the future they will probably have high tech house. I would put in tree bark or part of a tree. By the time a capsule might be found all the trees could be cut down. I would also put in a sample of what the clothing was back then. They also could see what styles we had.

I would also take pics of the cars, the streets, the stores, and a few more things so they know what everything used to look like. I would also put in one of my collector cars that could be worth alot more later on. I would also put in a book to show how literature is right now. I might even put in a football just in case it doesn't exist any more (you never know, it might happen). I wish I could put in a peice of cheese but it would get all moldy and gooey.:D

This stuff would be imformational because he or she would know more about history. I might even put a list on how people do stuff. (how to get your drivers lisense,how to use the internet ect.) That is what I would put in a time capsul to be found centuries from now.

Another thing I would put is sports equipment to let them know how we played sports and what kind of equipment.I would also put my book of Mormon in there just to show what I believed in and to show what I cared about and loved. The final thing I would put is a picture of my family with the names of the members in my family so they know who we were. The last thing that I would put in there is pictures of endangered animals so that if any of them are extinct then, they can see what they looked like.

I would also put a time line of presidents all the way from Gorge Washington to Barack Obama so they know who was the first president to the 44th president. My final thing would be seeds to see what we used to grow food in farms and fields.

I would put this in so that people in the future would know what we were like now a day. I would also put in some sports equipment, some sports cards. I would do this so that they could learn about what kind of sports we play now. If I could put anything in a time capsule I would put in some pictures of important places, because then in the future you could look back and see how differnt they looked before and after. I would also put in a CD of very old videos like Tom and Jerry, Black and White movies too, because they could see how different things have changed. Something else I would put in is another CD of songs from 2009 from 2010, to see what songs where in then. I proboly would put in some books, because to see what they read about in the future. One more thing I would put in is a picture of a normal house, because of how much homes have changed in the future.That's what I would put in a time capsule.
ReplyDeleteIf I could put some items in a time capsule the size of a microwave than I would put in a cellphone and a camera. First of all, if I put in a cellphone, something it would tell from our society is that we have a lot of new technology compared to the seventeen hundreds. Also, we are still constantly updating cell phones. Second, I would put in a camera with a ton of pictures on it. It would explain how our society needs to stop the littering and they would show the good things too. This is what I would put in my time capsule!!!!!!!!!:)

I would do that becausethen they could look at the two pictures and see their world from all the polution and find a cure. They could also see all the litter and food they leave lying on the sement and pick it up like civilized people. Then I would leave a cell phone from the past and the preasant to show how far we have come and how far we have to go. If I was in the future and I saw our earth and the society I would probly explain how bad it is for our earth and how it needs to stop right at this second to help our world stay healthy and safe for people to live in and make a community together.

ReplyDeleteIf I had a time capsule I would put pictures of what the world looks like right now so they could see how the world changes. They coiuld see how the pollution was better than it is with them or the opposite. Of how the polution problem is better then than now. I would also put a picture of a car in so they could see what they new cars now looked like. I would put an Ipod in it so they could listen to the music that we liked and compare it to the music they listen to. I would also put a laptop in so they could see the tecnology we had. Finally I would put in sports cards and equiment to show of how we protected ourselves in sports and also of what the good players we have playing in sports now in days.

Also I will put a dollar bill in it to so they can see what are money was like. I agree with marissa about putting a fashion maganize in a time capsule too. I would also put a wii in it or a nintendo ds to see what some of the things we used for electricty. So that is what I would put in to my time capsule. (If I had one the size of a microwave)

Then when someone in the future opens it they could listen to it.I would say... Dear future person,this is a message from me,Bridget. If I had a time capsule I would put in a camera. I would also have pictures of the city in it. I would put in a board game. I would also put in some video games.( if I had any) And the last thing I want to put in the time capsule is a digital language dictionary.

If I had a time capsule the size of a micro wave I would put alot of my belongings in it. For example I would put a few of my model cars in it. Also I would put quite a bit of pictures of me and my family in it. An other thing that I would put in it is a broken laptop so the people or things that find it will know what a portable computer looks like. Finally I would put in a picture of all of my friends in the time capsule. Those are the things that I would put in a time capsule the size of a micro wave oven.

I think they would say that our time is very different and very boring because the people who open this in the future could have hover cars and other cool stuff. I would take pictures of the world so they can look at it and tell them selves that they are at the same spot and they hold the picture and look at the difference of the world than it used to be. I will have to do that so they can be so amazed of the world.I will have to do it so I can show how I went through life.
