One of the best books I have read this school year is The Meanest Doll In The World. The author is Ann M. Martin. I like it because it is exciting. When a mean doll comes the other dolls have to stop her. It has a good but kind of sad ending. This is why I like the book, The Meanest Doll In The World.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It is by J.K. Rowling. I like that book because it is full of adventures and excitment. It is also a very interesting story. I recomend it because it is worth so many AR points but is very energetic as well.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best books I have read is Where The Red Fern Grows. I don't know the author. I like this book because it has you on the edge of your seat between coon hunting and loving each other. Any one who likes hunting, dogs, or loving it's the perfect book for you. I sugest anyone should read it.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read was Chasing Lincoln's Killer. The author is James L. Swanson. Did you know that for his tenth birthday he got an engraving Booth used to assassinate Abraham Lincoln. I think that is cool. The book is 7.5 but it is 6.0pts. and it is NF. I liked that book and it gives good information about John Wilkes Booth and how he killed Abraham Lincoln. Also Abraham Lincoln and how he helped a lot of people and salves to get free. I think you should read it because it is a great book.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I read this year was Diary Of a Wimpy Kid 3. The author's name is Jeff Kinney.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes funny books. This book is the funnest books I have ever read.It also is one of the best books I've read. That is one of my faborite books I have read this year.

I like this book because it is really adventurous.I like the entire Percy Jackson Series but this one would be my favorite.The book is really fun to read because you feel like you're in it.This would be the best book I have read this year.

I also like this book because it is funny and breath-taking. All of the Harry Potter books are good. Those are my reasons why I think that was the best book I have read this year.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I read this year was way back in the beggining of the year. It was Harry Potter an the Deathly Hallows. This book is written by J.K. Rowling. I like this book because it is adventurous. Also it puts you on the edge of your seat wondering if a Death Eater will attack Harry and his friends or if they find another Horcrux. Also it is very funny and of how J.K. wrote it, it was just breath taking! I think that this book anyone could read and like, because it has adventure for people who like adventure books. It is also magical, and they also have to think about what they are going to do and there is much more things that people would like! Also for people who have high AR goals this book is wroth 38 points I think. So for some of you this book would make your AR goal! So this is why I would recommened Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best books I've read this school year was Diary of a Wimpy kid Dog Days. The author is Jeff Kinney. I like this book because it takes you into the book. This book is about his summer vication with his friends and family. This book has a good begging ,middle, and end. Plus it will make you pee in your pants when you read this book. So I would read this book if I where you.
ReplyDeleteThe best book i've read this year was probably it's Rainging Cupcakes by Lisa Shroeder. I like it because when you are about to start reading it you get excited to! It makes you want to read more because, you want to know if Isabel's mom will save the cupcake shop or if ISabel will get into the baking competition and beat her best friend Sophie. I also like it because it has so much detail so you feel like your in the book. example if they were describing a painting you could have a detailed picture in your head of what it looks like! I would recomend this book to anyone but boys because it's kind of more girly than most books and I douby boys would like it. That is why I love the book, It's Raining Cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read is Lawn Boy. I like it because it tells stuff that we could do. I would recommend it because it is a very very very ood book. It would be a good book for 3rd graders and 4th graders. That is why I chose this book.
ReplyDeleteI do not have a favorite book because there are so many good books I have read.Such as The Phantom Tollbooth miracle on 49th street.That is just a few of the good books i have read.So as you can see I have read some good books and it is hard to choose one of the books.That is why i do not have a favorite book.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I've read was It's Raining Cupcakes.The reason why it's my favorite is because it has cupcakes in it and because now I want to open a little cupcake shop. In the book it tells you two cupcake recipes, I'm going to try them over the summer. My favorite cupcake recipe was the s'mores cupcake, chapter title. I've read alot of good books but this book is my favorite. That's why It's Raining Cupcakes is my favorite book ever this year.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I read this year is The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. It is by the author Avi. I like this book because there was a lot of action. Some examples are when a big hurricane hit the ship called the Seahawk and when the captain dies from going overboard. You'll like it because there is a lot of drama and intense moments so you never know what happens next.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I have read is Each Little Bird That Sings by Deborah Wiles. I like this book because it always has something exciting that is happening or at other parts, it will be calm and funny. Some examples are when Comfort's great aunt Florentine suddenly drops dead and when Comfort and Peach are in the middle of a flood and their dog, Dismay gets pulled the other direction and might be dead. That is why my favorite book is Each Little Bird That Sings.
ReplyDeleteI say I have go with Alex but I am on the 4th or 5th book I do not remember. It is a really good series by JK ROWLING because it is breath taking. There are really good parts in the book. Some parts they just want you to pause the reading an you want to tell everyone about it.:) And then there are sad parts like when Hermione,harry and Ron are in situations. even though I hate sad books this one is the one I can stand. The series makes me want to read it over an over again. This is my favorite series in the world. party hardy hahahahahaha hazza hazza hazza love this series!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):):)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I read this year is probably The Black Book of Secrets. It is a great book that is very fast paced with a lot of action. It is also a vary scary book that will get you on the edge of your seat. The most exciting parts are the extracts from the black book of secrets that reveal peoples most secret and deep confessions.
ReplyDeleteAnother book by the same author is The Bone Magitian which is also a very action packed novel. You should read both!
ReplyDeleteMy favoite book that I've read this year is Indian in the Cupboard.I recomend ths book because It starts out kind of slow then gets better and more exciting. It also makes you want to read the next book. My favoite part is when Little Bear is tring to find the key but, Omri's brother's rat chases Little Bear under the floor boards in the dark.That is why I recomend this book!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to select a book that I have read this school year that would be my favorite book I would definitely choose the book HATCHET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would pick Hatchet because when I read this fine book it was so interesting! The author of the book Hatchet uses outstanding word choice.(as you can see, I have learned from this author about word choice) :) I highly recommend this book to my fellow classmates for the reason of being that, well....it is a FANTASTIC, AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, MARVELOUS, MAGNIFICENT, AWSOME, TERRIFIC, SPLENDID, WONDERFUL, STUPENDOUS, EXCELLENT, GREAT, GOOD, DAZZLING, SUPER, REMARKABLE, TREMENDOUS, INCREDIBLE, INTERESTING, FABULOUS, SENSATIONAL, LURID, BRILLIANT, ASTOUNDING, ASTONISHING, UNIQUE, MIND-BLOWING, GRAND, EXCEPTIONAL, GLORIOUS, SUPERB, EXTRORDINARY, book. I also recommend this book because you can learn so much from it and I know that you will enjoy it!:) Another good thing about Hatchet is that it is SEVEN POINTS and it is such a good book you won't be able to put the book down! I read it in one week and I am a slow reader! :) My second choice if I did not read Hatchet my favorite book would absolutely select the book The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle because it had such an unique plot. It also had interesting events and occurrences. These are my two favorite books that I have read all year and I really strongly suggest that you try and make it a point to read them. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I have read this year is The Island Of The Blue Dolphins, by scott O'Dell. I really like this book because I can really relate to it and the Scott O'Dell is so decriptive. Every school day I look foward to reading it. I recommend this book becauseyou learn a lot from it. I learned so many things like there is such thing as a sea elephant, about tsunami's, ect. So The Island Of The Blue Dolphins is my favorite book.
ReplyDeleteJustin, the authors name is Wilson Rawls. If i had to recommend a book would be a book called Zoo Break by Gorden Kormen. I like and reccomend this book because it has alot tense parts and lots of sad parts. It book i would recommend this book to people who like adventer and sadness books. Those books are the books I like.Those are all the reasons i love this book.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read is called, It's Raining Cupcakes. I like this book because it is full of emotions and keeps you turning the page! I also like it because the chapters have a cupcake name from their shop and it has two of the recipes that was in the book at the back. I also like it because it has a happy ending unlike some of the books I have read. My favorite cupcake that I would eat would have to be the Strawberry Lemonade one. that is my favorite book that I have read.

I would pick this book because of the describing words.I would also pick this book because of how describing it is.I like it also because there's always a mystery. The class reads one-three chapters a day. That's why I love Island of the Blue Dolphins!!!!!

It is about a boy who is infected with the terrible dissease off,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, puppy love. Also how he saved his money so he could buy two coon hounds. Finally it tells the tragic end of the two hounds and part of their master.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I read is called Rotten school blueberry barf off and it is my favorite book because it is very funny to me because it is about a kid named Bernie and he really wanted a watch from a kid named Shermen and it was worth a thousand and it had forty two functions so Bernie decides to do a pie eating contest and who ever win will get the thousand dollar watch, and Bernie won the pie eating contest so he got the thousand dollar watch. This book is my favorite book I have ever read.
