Now that we have all made it through the first week of school. Please share what you are most relieved about. Maybe you were nervous about something and now that the week is over you aren't scared about it anymore.

I thought that we would jump right on hard stuff right as we got to school. I am relieved we are moving slower than usual. Homework isn't as much as I thought. I am looking forward to learning square roots. I hope that we can do some experiments in science, too.

Hi Miss Preston, The first week of school wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!! I was relieved that we didn't have to much homework. I actually am really enjoying making the heritage doll!! I hope we get to do some cool Science Experiments too!! I'm just worried about having to much homework!! Well I hope the rest of the year is like this!!

I am really intrested in what we are going to do. I know all about the challenger space center, the bottle rockets, and the 5th grade play. I really want to do the challenger space center. I do disagree with jack though that we don't have a lot of homework. I have a TON of homework. All though, that is probabaly because I have a lot of homework.

I am happy that we are through the first week of school! I am most relived that I have made new friends, and that all of our "First Week Work" is finished.I was pretty nervous on the first day. I enjoyed the projects that we did on the first week. They were all pretty fun. I am excited about the field trips that we are going to go on. I feel very good about this school year.

I think this year will be really fun. I was wondering what kind of homework we would be having this year? I was looking forward to the field trips we would do this year. i thought that 5th grade was going to be really hard throughout the whole year but now that i found out most of what we are going to do it sounds a lot fun!!!!!I am looking forward to the field trip to the challenger space center. I am still kinda worried about switching for science. I think it is going to be the best year because Miss Preston is my teacher. :)

I loved doing the oreo experiment. I'm nervous about how many assignments were going to get. And how many points i get for my AR goal. I hope it is only 10 points or 11.

I was scared while i was walking in the building. I forget everything that i learned last year.i was releved that we didn't get right to the subjects.miss preston was the nice's teacher ever.i was intrested in the stuff. some thing s looked diffrent and some things looked the same. i was glag to be back to school.

I was actually really scared when my mom was driving me to school because thought it was going really hard and lots of homework, but then the week was over and it was not that hard. I am really excited for the inventions that we are going to do. But I am still nervous for AR cause I'm not a big fan about reading. Other than that I am very excited for the rest of 5th grade

the first day of school was easy all normal stuff. then the next day we jumped write to work . then the next few days it was harder test. we didn' t have as much homework as i thougt . But i did have fun those days. im ready for a great year.

I thought I was going to get to the morning club but i didn't so i stayed home with my dad. Then when it was time to go I got into my dads truck and we went to school. On the way there my sister my dad and I were jamming to some music on the radio. When I got out of the truck I went straight to see my friends. I ran to them and hugged them all. Then she came to get us. That was when the school year started.

I was kind nerves on the first day of school I thought we would get a ton of homework on the first night. The second day was better I was still kind of nerves but we still got homework. We got homework every night I think. When the first week of school was over I was really relived I could finally could sleep in.

ReplyDeleteI thought that we would start everything right away, Science,Writing,Honors Math, Honors Reading, all that stuff. I'm really looking forward to doing cool projects and writing stories. I'm really worried about failing honors or AIMS and getting Bs in my grades.
ReplyDeleteWhen school started I thought I would be miserable with no friends, but I met Aubrey and I still hang out with Kylie, Katrina, and Michelle. Lunch is normal but, it's still lonely. School turned out to be more fun and easy than I thought, Miss. Preston is is nice and funny, I like the Oreo experiment we did on 8/25/10, it was awesome. Kylie is in Mrs. Toenjoes class so is Katrina and Michelle. RIght now my favorite subject is Reading and Math, and last year my least favorite was Math! Wow! soooooo much can change over three months.
