Why do you think that it is important for scientists to follow the science method/processes when conducting an experiment?
Do you think that all scientists use all the processes or part of the scientific method all of the time? When wouldn't they use them all?
Please include the processes that we have talked about in class to support your answer.

It is very important for a scientist to fallow the procedure. It is important for scientist to fallow the procedure because they could get a wrong answer. A way they could get the wrond answer is because the notes get mixed up and could get missed placed, the scientist may think one of his notes say one thing bbut it really means another.

I think that they should follow it because they would not make errors. They should use all parts because it affects the outcome if you leave out a step. For example, if you leave out the testing process, you would never know if your hypothesis is correct.

I think that it is impotant for scientest to follow the procedure. Because if they don't they might mess something very impotant up. They might not have to do the hypothesis but it is impotant to do the procedure and conclusion. they also should make shure that everthing is safe they should probally use safety goggles and glove.

The scientific method is important to use because when you are working with chemicals you might not go through variables amd get the wrong amount and you would have to start over and that would...suck.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are observing someting wild like life in the Brazilain jungle you might not need a hypothesis becuase your just exploring and observing you still need variables and that's about it.

The scientific method is very important when conducting an expirement because something could go wrong, and that, depending on what procedure you are doing, could be very bad. I do not think that scientists follow all of the processes to the scientific method all the time. I don't think they'd have to use it all the time because if you were studying the organs of a tiger, you probably wouldn't need a hypothesis. Of course, you couldn't leave out the procedure or record keeping, the expirement just wouldn't work.

I think it's important for scientists to follow the method when conducting an experiment to prevent any damage or harm or any possible wrong answers. You should always follow the method so the procedure would also be correct, and safe like I said before. I also strongly believe all scientists should follow the method all the time prevent all the errors and possible wrong answers as example: Follow the method = Safe, and correct experiment as, Don't follow the method = Dangerous, and wrong answers. If you conduct the experiment right you should still take caution to what you're doing ex: Goggles, No tasting or smelling incorrectly = SAFE AND CORRECT EXPERIMENTS, No goggles, tasting and not smelling properly = DANGER!!

I think scientist should follow the scientific method. I agree with the scientific method because it can prove your hypothesis true, false, or partly true. It does this by using a set of standards and procedures to come up with a conclusion.

I think scientists should use a process.It will lead them to the answer of thier hypothesis as in if it was true,false,or half-true.I highly reccomend a process/procedure for working with chemicals to safe.Some people don't like to plan;they like to be free and watch what happens.I think that is totally up to the person.

I think it is important to follow the procedure because if you don't there could be danger. Also it can mess up your experiment and you would have to start over and if you are on let’s say the 21st step and there are 24 steps you aren't going to want to start over. You might be so far away from your hypothesis but could change if you have already gotten far away from the answer. But if you are all like “I just want to see what happens" you can go ahead as long as it's safe. In science safety is the only thing that matter. If you want to figure something out but it is very dangerous than I would just forget it. If you don't know what something is then don't smell, touch, or eat it. If you follow all of these steps than you will most likely be safe.

I think it is important to fallow the procedure so that you can prove your hypothesis is correct. And it proves what answer you do find. It is also important because it helps you organize thoughts. It's important you write the procedure down because the person might want to prove his or her answer right, but they can't if they don't do the the same thing the last time they did it.

ReplyDeleteIt is important to make sure that you go in the order of the scientific method because if you don’t it will affect your outcome. Lots of people have a hypothesis’, but if you do not follow the scientific method you can not have a true outcome.

I think that they should follow it because it helps you not make an error. If they use the they have less of a chance of making an error but they still aren't invincible though.
