If you could leave a time capsule the size of a microwave oven to be found centuries from now, what would you put inside it?
Why would you include those items and what do you think they would say about our society right now?

If I could put something in a microwave it and find it who knows how many years later I would put in a note saying some of my best friends from the past or maybe a video saying something really sweet about the school.

If I was going to leave a time capsule, I would include 5 things to describe our society. First, I would put in a newspaper because they could see what our current events were. Second, I would put in a Bible so they could sort of make out our religion. Next, I would put in a teeny tiny DVD player so they could see how much more advanced they have progressed over time and how much our technology was limited. Next, I would put in a couple of dollar bills. I would want to do this because if the money changed then they would know what it used to look like. Last but not least, I would put in a DVD for the DVD player. The movie I would choose would be Nemo. I would choose the movie Nemo because I like Nemo.

I would put in all my coins and money I had so they would see if the money had changed. I would also put in a little tv so they could check if it changed by then. I would put the movie joy ride in there because I like that movie. I would put in some candy because I love candy. I would put some soda to tell the kind we drink.

I would put an iPhone because future generations would know that we could play games, text and call, and go online. They would also know that communication was important to us. I would also include a baseball and a football to show that we played sports. I could also put in a school yearbook to show how schools worked. Last, I would include different types of family photos to show that some kids lived in many kinds of families.

I put in an ipad so they could see our technology! I would also put a note saying my name and my family tree so they could maybe figure out their relatives. I would also put in some treasured things so when someone opened it they would have an antique! I hope at sometime I do get to do a time capsule! Because if I do, I know EXACTLY what I will put in it!

I would probably put in a copy of my favorite movie with a dvd player because I think that they wouldn't have any dvd players. I would also include a note, like Chloe said, with my family tree so that people would be able to figure out who I am. Last I would put in an Iopd touch so they can see the old Ipod because by then they will have made new ones.
ReplyDeleteI, like Chloe, would like to put an iPad or an iPod to show our technology. But it would probably be like a type-writer in 2057! I would like to take pictures and videos to put inside of it. I would also like to put some newspaper clippings of what's happening around our world so we can remember everything. Finally I would like to put a home video of my family.

I would put a mini laptop in there. Also I would put pictures and videos in there. I would put a lot of technology to show how it was a long time ago. I would put some cloths in there so they know how are clothes were. Thats what I would put in the time capsule.

I would put a CD in the time capsule to show what kind of music we listened to. The 1st CD I would put in would be gLee soundtrack 5. The 2nd CD I would put in is Taylor Swift. The 3rd one would be Justin Bieber Never Say Never. That will show what kind of music we listen to, and they can see if the music changed they can see what we listened to.

If I left a time capsule for the future I would leave lots of old, old, objects that are considered old in the present. I would leave old things because they would be worth TONS of money in the future if they are already worth money now. First, I would leave a very old glass bottle that people drank soda from. Also, I would leave a 1912 quarter. Last, I would put an old antique car model in the box. I would leave the capsule for my grandkids.

I would put my Panda Pillow Pet in the time capsule because that would show what children enjoyed snuggling with in 2011. I would also put in an iPad because that would show what type of technology that was used to access the internet, games, apps, movies and books electronically. I'd add family pictures of what we enjoyed doing while growing up; like dancing. When our future friends and family open it, they may think that my dance costumes were old fashioned. They may also find our family pictures funny because of our current fashion and hair styles. Those are the things I would put in the time capsule.

I would put a few things that will probably change in the future. I would put in some newspaper so they can read it and see what was happing at that time. I would put in a book in sense people are going to start using ipads to read. I would put in a Iphone, Ipod, and if I could fit an I pad I would put that in too. To see the difference in technology those days.

If I were to bury a time capsule. I would include 5 things inside. I would make a dvd on what medicine we have now. Then the people that lived when the time capsule was dug up would have remedies if for some reason all treatments were forgotten or not working. I would include a video of kids and what we do to show the people what they can do in their freetime. Also, I would add a viedo on how to cook simple things. Then they wouldn't run out of food. Next, I would put in a newspaper of important historic events. Last, but not least, I would add in a huge book of all the religions and what the rules and regulations are. Then people could spread the churches! That's what I would put in a time capsule!

I would put in alot of stuff. I am only going to tell you three of them. First I would put in Black Ops so in the future my grand kids will play it just like me. I would also put in X-Box so they can play Black Ops on the X-Box. I would put a picture of my family so my family will remeber there great great I do not know how many greates Grandpa Riley.

If I were to make a time capsule I would first write a full journal that explains everything about our society. Another thing I would put in the time capsule is a book. To show them how people read now. Because 20 years from now people might read with projections. Next I would put in the manuscript of my finished story. This will show how books were produced now. Last but not least I would put in hand drawn pictures and photos. This will tell them that not only did we take photos bt we also drew with pencils and paper. These are the things I would put in a time capsule.

I would put video games in it and an ipad, money, water, valuables like a watch or ring, a few books, astronaut food and pictures. Old dvd's like jaws or halloween. A calendar so you would know when I put the stuff in the time capsule. Hopefully when the time capsule was opened my stuff would seem really cool.

I would put some of my stuff like a teddy bear or some other stuffed animal. I would also pput a note in there saying what my name is, when I put this stuff inside, and when i was born. A book too because then their books are going to be digital. Also a pencil and paper so they can learn how to write because they're probally goikng to type everything. That's what I would put in the time capsule.

I would put in the things that they will never have in the future...Such as Silly bands, Watches, Snuggie, an Ipod Touch. These things would seem strange and different to the people in centeries to come. I would also put in a ShamWOW! I think if they know what we had in the past, they would know how much harder it was back then while they'll have robots and futuristic cars.
