Think back over this school year, what has been the absolute best book that you have read?

The best book I have read this year is "A Dog's Life" by Ann M. Martin. I enjoyed "A Dog's Life" because it is a awesome autobiography of a stray dog. I would recommend this book because it is a touching book about a stray dog and her life and how she was abused and neglected by her many owners. This touching book will give you a soft spot for homeless dogs and cats. I love this book for its detailed moments such as the dog fights because it is written in first person by the dog, named Squirrel so you feel like you are there with her. I give this book a five star rating.

My favorite book was The Invention of Hugo Cabret. I do not know who the author is. I like this book because it is suspenseful. It is also good because it is nonfiction and is 4 points. A lot of people wouldn't read it because it looks so big. The book is actually very short. I can safely say that if you take out all of the pictures that is is a quarter of the size that is appears. The first 40 pages are pictures. I like this book and would recommend it to friends because it is a good book and is nonfiction. Some people think the book will be scary but it isn't. This is a good nonfiction.

It is about a man who gets sent a penguin and the another one and the girl had baby's and they all preformed. Also it is a good book because it makes Mr. Popper happy and one time they had snow in their house and they went sledding and the penguins had a good time. This year I have read many good books but this one was the best

My favorite book I have read this year would have to be The Report Card by Andrew Clements! Because I really love his books! I like it especially because it is about a really smart girl who keeps it a secret from everyone. That probably make that the best book I have ever read! I think Ive read almost every book in his collection!

The best book that I've read would be The School Story (author unknown). This book is a fantastic read because it is about a 5th grader (like us) who is a really good writer and writes a book but nobody knows it's her. It is also high in AR points and it is not too long. Also we can all relate to situations that are going on. That is why you should read The School Story.

My favorite book I read this year was called "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth" by Jeff Kinney. All of these books in this series are funny which makes them easy to read. One of the funniest parts in this book was when the class had to take care of an egg to practice parenting. Greg's egg baby accidently got scrambled and he tried to steal his friend's egg. Also, his brother has a band called "Loded Diper", and it is spelled that way. That is funny itself.

My favorite book at of this whole school year would be the island of the blue dolphins. Why because i really liked the charactars and the events. I would want other 5th graders to read this book because it was a really inspiring book!

My favorite book this school year so far is lightning Theff. the reason why is cause it has alot of action in the book. I would recomend this book to any one who loves action books. If you like the movie you will love the book. that is my favorite book the year so far.

My favorite book is Nature girl because it's about survival. It's a really good book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves survival. I wish they made a movie. Thats my favorite book this year.

ReplyDeleteThe best book I have ever read is called Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense and action. The suspense and action make this a book where you just seem to not be able to stop turning the pages. Also, The Prisoner of Azkaban is a great book because it is worth A TON of AR points. The final reason to get this book is because it has so many good literary elements, such as foreshadowing, cliffhangers, and repetition.

I believe this is the best because it is about two kids, Edgar and Ellen, and they're dad had passed and so there was something called Balm that could keep you alive for centuries of time. Each book somebody steals it and they try to take it back because it is a dangerous and greedy product. I think this book is the best because it focuses on 2 pranksters, has great vocabulary, and has about 4 AR points each book.

The best book I have red was Percy Jackson and the Olympians : The Last Olympian. I loved that book because it has many twists and turns! Also, I enjoyed the Hunger Games. That book is very very good! I liked it because it was very interesting! The best parts in both books are when someone has to make a importnt decision!

The best book I read this shcool year was The Rescue By Kathryn Lasky because it has alot of action. The Resue was also or 8 AR points. I recommend this book to people who like adventure, violence, and owls! I also enjoyed The Island of the Blue Dolphins. This is one the books I would say "DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER."

My favorite book was by Rick Riordan. It was the last olympian. I liked it because there were some fights in it which were exciting. I also loved The ugly truth because it is really funny. I like fregley he is my favorite character.

My favorite book this year is The Hunger Games book. It was written by Suzzane Collins. I enjoyed this book because it shows rebellion and what will happen if someone gets a little bit to much power. This book contains action and romance. It shows fighting for your right to do what you want and not get punished for your actions. I recommend this book to all who enjoy rebellion. If you read this book then you will be pulled into Katniss's life and read the rest of the trilogy.

My favorite book this year was Matched by Ally Condie. This book shows like the Hunger Game series that too much power over peoples lives can bring trouble. I recomend this book to romance and descion lovers. Another bok I liked was Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler. Like Matched it's a romance but it is also a mystery and decision book. I recomend this book to boys too because of the suspense and drama but also because of the mystery and violance. Just Kidding! Have fun reading my recomendations!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book of the year is A School Story, author unknown. It's my favorite because it tells about two girls who solve a problem by working together. Natalie is the author. Her friend, Zoe, wants her to publish the book. Natalie's problem is that her Mom is a publisher. Natalie doesn't wish to receive any special treatment so the girls use fake names and handwriting. my favorite book this year was babe and me. Its about that goes back in time to see if babe called his shot but his dad goes back to 1932 to get money on bidding and stuff like that. I dont know the other but its a good book. My favorite part was when babae past out on the floor.

My favorite book is the Cupcaked Crusader. I don't know the author. I like this book because it is funny and adventurous. It is a great series for everyone to read and it is not that big. It is also AR it is 3 points and almost in everyones reading level probably. THis is why I choose The Cupcaked Crusader as my favorite book this year. LOGAN
