Now that we have all made it through the first couple weeks of school. Please share what you are most relieved about. Maybe you were nervous about something and now that the first weeks are over you aren't scared about it anymore.

I think that this year is going to be one of the best yet!!! I am very excited to learn more about Miss Preston and the rest of my class mates. I am relived that I have so many nice friends in class. I am especially excited to get to know people who I don't usually talk to. I am excited to learn about The Civil War and how our founding fathers worked so hard to get us here as we are today. I am so excited for the year!!!!!!!!!

Nah. I'm not scared of anything. This year is going to be the best one yet because Ms. Preston has options for us when were finished with our work, includind stumpers and any other classwork you may have not finished yet. I even put a postie note telling me I have options when I'm done, because last year, it was like, "Do your work! Then read!". I'm really looking forward to doing the Civil War activities later in the year. Finally, once in a lifetime when I can draw what I like! Death, guns, suffer, blood, and little stick figure dudes with muskets and bayonettes getting their butt shot off. I like that. I really need to work on my geography, because I hang out with Ryan a lot, and when ever he talks about anything involving the world's places and it's history (of which we will do in 6th grade) I feel like a 2-year old playing Stack the State on his mommy's iPad of which he STOLE. I'm really glad I got put in a class amongst a handful of my best friends, including my girlfriend. I like the way Ms. Preston does things in the class. Personally, I think people are going way to crazy about the raffle. Me, I really don't need the tickets like it's food and water. I'm taking need on those stumpers. They're fun. This week, I've already answered Math, Word, and the Fast Fact, and been the first to answer the word and the math. Ms. Preston, beware, I LOVE logic puzzles. Ok, got to leave for hockey! Bye! I am really excited about school because I want to meet my new teacher and be with my friends. I'm really not worried about anything in school because I did good last year so I have awesome confidence this year. I want to learn more about science, like learn about planets and the best part is going to Challenger Space Center. I love how Miss.Preston runs the class.She does the magnificent stumpers like math,spelling,and the online ones.I admire the experiments she does with us in class. She did the swingers,the boats,and now she is doing flippers!!!

On the first week of school I was scared that Miss Preston was going to be mean. Now that that the first couple of weeks have gone by I learned the she is one of the nicest teachers in the whole school. I think that this year will be the best one yet. I cant't wait to learn about space and all the others things in science. I'm looking forward to is going on all the field trips the one thing I cant wait for is the space station. The tings that I like about miss preston is when we have extra time when were done with a test we don't have to read you can do stumpers if you get picked first you get a choice of a pass and the next 4 people get 5 tickets there are 4 stumpers in class and 4 online so far i have had good luck.She is also very orginized,and we do a ticket raffle every friday you earn tickets by bringing in box tops,wearing you desert trail tee shirt,by who is quieter going to lunch for the week,if everybody brings in there homework,and many other ways. In the raffle you can win pop pass, popcorn pass, homework pass,line leader,reading corner,and other awesome prizes. we also do cosmic voyage you can get tickets for that too. I think it's cool that 5th grade has chromes and there not even on the market yet! It's also cool that we have Dana's for hot days. I have alot of my friends in my class. I can't wait for field day this year. I think that this year is going to be the best one yet because I love learning about science and space
ReplyDeleteI was so relieved that I have a great class instead of a crazy class. I am happy that I'm back in school because I was so bored over the summer. But I did go to Chicago over the summer with my brother, Scott, my mother and my grandmother. The coolest thing I did in Chicago was either go into the Sears (Willis) Tower or went to the Shedd Aquarium or the Museum of Science and Industry which was kind of gross when I walked in. The flights were long and boring. But also it was cool to fly over all those states! I think the best thing we're going to do in Fifth Grade is learn about space and do fun experiments!

I was scared the first day but everyone was very kind to me and made me a part of the class. I just know now that this year is going to be awesome. I really look forward to learning about planets. I am soo excited to get the school year started with Miss Preston!!!!!!!!!!! I am also eager to see who my classmates are this school year.I really want to meet my new classmates. Before school started I was anxious about who my teacher would be and if I would have any friends in my class. Also, I worried that 5th grade might be too hard. I am happy that I am challenged but still can keep up. I am very happy with both my teacher and the friends who are in my class. I am very excited about the 5th grade play especially the dances. At the beginnig of the school year i was nervous because all my friends that i had last year moved to a different school so that was really hard for me.I was also nervous about what new friend i would meet and that would be my best friend for a long time so for the first two days of school I had know one to talk to so i just talked to the people that where in my class last year.But then before you know it i made three really great friends wich are Jessica, Carley, and Emmie.I am so excited for the fifth grade play i can not wait until the whole fifth grade gets to do it!And one last thing im very very worried about is what horse shose and hand grinades mean ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Miss.P please tell me! from, #5 in Miss.P
ReplyDeleteThis year I can't wait to do more science!!! It's one of my favorite subjects including math. I hoping maybe some of our subjects will bring on a challenge to me. It makes me learn more about that subject and makes me kinda more smart:P I'm kind of worried that I will be bullied this year. I hope I never do though because who would bully a weirdo like me:P Just please don't!!!!!! I am so excited to have Miss Preston as my teacher though I was nervous at first. I am so lucky that I have her because she is nice and fun. I am going to have a great time learning about space and how our founding fathers wrote the Constitution. I cannot wait to start learning about the Civil War. I even have a book that I found at the library that will be very useful this year. I love the stumpers because they are fun and you can do them when you finish your work instead of reading, not that I do not like reading. I was worried that I would not have any friends in my class. I was relieved that I have a lot of friends in my class this year. I love that we do not have any homework packets and that instead we only have one sheet. Fifth grade will be one of my best years yet!!

I was new to the school and a felt nervous, but now I feel happy to be at this school. I have a good friend named Matthew, too. I am looking forward to more school field trips. I'm looking forward to math in fifth grade. In school my favorite subject is math. I'm not looking forward to all the homework in the school year. I think school is so fun so far. The days seem short. I like school more then ever.

I think this year is going to be great one. I like how we get to have the option for what we do after tests, not just reading. I like how we have passes for popcorn and soda. I like our raffle we do and there is a lot of easy ways to get tickets. I'm glad at last we get to study the history of America. I'm glad my friends, Jared and Jacob, are in our class. I like how there is less homework than in fourth grade. I also like how we have cosmic voyage to challenge us to read. I think this will be one of the best years yet!!!!

I am very excited for every single activity that we will do.I have a felling that this year will be one of the best school year yet! Cosmic voyage is fun and annoying at the same time but I have to get on the ball because i don't want to be the wimp that is in the middle of space.But i think that AR is a horrible idea.I am glad though that we don't have AR goals this first quarter.
