In Social Studies we have studied different types of maps.
If you were to go on a road trip you would use a road map. If you got to plan the road trip, where would you go? Who would go with you? Why would you choose that place to go to and the people to go with you? How long would you be gone and when do you think that you would be going on this trip?

I would not use a road map on this trip because it is easier just to use a GPS because all you have to do is type in were you want to go.If i were Planing a rode trip i would go to Californa because I love the gong to the beach and Disneyland.I would take the Schwartz Family because I am so close them they are like my brothers we always go on trips togeher so it is natural that they would come with us i love them so much.I would be gone for the hole summer.This is pretty much my summer trip every but i only stay for a week or two.

I would use a road map because it tells you where all the awesome stuff are and it looks not far away so it looks like you will be there in no time! I would go to Orlando, Florida, because I can go to the Beach, Universal Studios, and go to Disney World! I would bring my mom, dad, sister, and a few of my friends. I would bring these people because they are close to me and I would love to go places with them!!!!!!! I would be gone for 3 weeks so we don't have to smoosh stuff into 1 week!!!!!! I flew there last Spring Break and I had a BLAST, so maybe around summer I would go.

I would like to go to the Grand Canyon again. I want to go there because, there are so many cool things to do and see there, and i would like to go explore and see some things that i have never seen before. We would hike down into the canyon, and then make camp. Then the next day, we would go on the Colorado Rapids. I love an adventure, and getting wet.;)

If I got to plan a road trip, I would go to Boston with my dad, mom, and my brother to visit my friend Connor and his family who live there. Connor used to live here in Phoenix and he is one of my best friends. I would bring my family because they are my family and my mom gets along very well with Connor's mom, my dad gets along very well with Connor's dad, and my brother gets along with Connor's sister. I would then have all of us go to Washington D.C. together to see the White House and the Smithsonian because we have talked about going to these places together. We would take a month to travel and visit all these places. I hope that we can do this next summer.

I would not use a road map because they are very hard to understand I would use a GPS instead.If I got to plan a road trip I would go to Washington.I would take my two awesome cousins Jack and Teddy, I would also take their parents and my parents.I chose Washington to go to because there is always a lot of things to do there and I chose to take my cousins because they ALWAYS make my day.We would be gone the whole summer and do it every summer.We would also travel in a RV!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI would use a road map because they show every road and it would be easy for me to understand. I would go through many states to get to Maine. I would bring my family with Paige's family in a RV. I would want to go to Maine because along the way I could discover many new places and meet some of my mom's family. I would want to go with Paige and her family because Paige is my BFF!!!!! I think I would be gone for about 3-4 weeks because from her its along way from Maine. Have a happy week my friends!!!!!!!

I would use a road map because it would show witch road to go on. If I could go any ware I would go to Seattle. I would go there because my family members live there and I would go visit my mom,dad,aunt,uncle,and cousins. I would go there fo around 2 or 3 weeks. I would go there to see my family and spend time with them.

I was just on a road trip this weekend so I kind of have experience. I would use a road map to tell what roads to turn of on and what way I need to go. I would invite immediate family and my cousins and aunt and uncle on a giant 60 foot long RV. I would take the Interstate 10 over to California and take a turn on I-5 (I is an abbreviation for Interstate). I will take the 5 up to Seattle but making a stop in Portland because my best friend Taye lives up there.Then I will take the 90 over to Chicago. in Chicago I will take the 80 to the 94 up to Detroit. Then I will take 94 through Toronto. I will get back on the 90 in Buffalo and then take it through New York City and up to Boston and take a turn on the 95 and take up to Canada and turn around and take the 95 intill we get to the 10 and I would take the 10 back to Phoenix. My trip will cover 8,654 miles and will probably be one of the longest road trips here on the blog. It would take 5-7 weeks

If I was going on a road trip I would go to California. I would go with my friends and family. I would go to California with my friends and family because it's fun to have friends to hang out, my family would drive me, and i would want to go to Cali. because they have nice beaches. I think I would be gone about ten days. I think I would go during the summer so the ocean water isn't that cold.

I would go to all 50 states and stay at each state for 2 nights. I would take my mom to drive, my cousin Anna and her baby brother Isaac, and my other baby cousin Ellie. I would take these people because they are some of the people I hold close in my heart. I'd go on this trip because I've always wanted to go to each of the 50 states. I did the math and ti would take about 100 days. This probably won't happen until I'm older so I can drive but I'd still take these people because I will love them always.

I would go to Mount Rushmore or the Grand Canyon and live in one of the two places! I probably would use a road map to get to one of those places.I wouldn't really take anybody, I'd rather live on Mount Rushmore or in the Grand Canyon alone. I'd go there because both of them have magnificent views and vast area.I'd rather just be alone in one of those places, #1 we could fall while playing and X-l. I'd stay there the rest of my life.

I would chose Florida because i have been wanting to go to Disney world y whole life. The people that I want to come with me are very special in my life so that is why i would take them with me. I would go to Vancouver, Canada again and also Virginia the place I was born. I would stay at both places for a week or 2. The people I would bring is my mom and my really close friends. This trip would take about 4 weeks. I chose this because I think we would have a great time.

If I went on a road trip I would go to Iowa. I would bring my dog Molly, my cousin Addy, my mom and dad, and my friend Josey. I would go there because my family has a house there and Arnolds Park is there too. I would stay there for a month or more because I would want to go to Camp Foster, also. I would want to go during the summer because the lake is very warm then.

If I could go anywhere in the United States on a road trip I would want to go to Washington D.C. I would not use a road map because you would have to switch maps every state and a GPS tell more streets. I would go with my whole family because we never have gone on a whole family trip. We would be gone for two and a half weeks in an RV. I think that our family will go on this trip because we have it planned for next year.

If I were going to plan a road trip, I would use my dad's iPhone or a GPS (I had a bad experience with a road map when I went to Chicago). I would go to San Diego, Disneyland, and Monterey Bay. I would take my family along with a few of my friends to come with me. I chose these places because I love Disneyland, I always go to San Diego (and I love it there), and Monterey Bay because I hear they have a really cool aquarium. I would choose the people I chose because I enjoy their company. I would have to go on two separate trips because Monterey Bay is near San Francisco while Disneyland and San Diego are somewhat near each other. I might be going on the San Diego/Disneyland trip during the long weekend near Halloween and Monterey Bay maybe in the summer of 2012. Have a great weekend everyone!

Well, I would say that I would go all the way up to Vegas again with my dad. We stayed at Red Rock Hotel, which had 20+ stories and a 48-lane bowling alley, a really big casino, a food court in the casino, and a 16-theater movie theater. I loved that place. I only wish that it wasn't as long of a drive. I would go there during the summer. We would stay there for about a week and a half. We would go see "Mind Freak" on the Strip. we would go explore the Strip and visit other casinos like Hard Rock. One of the bad things about my room at Red Rock was there was only elevators at the front of the level, and elevators in the middle that only go down to the pool. My room, was on the END. The walk was about a sixth of a mile. I really liked it there in Vegas, and there was a lot of places and things we didn't see. I still need to finish my exploring.

If I could go any where I would want to go to Alaska again. I would go there becouse my grandparents live there sometimes, and I like seeing them. I would take my little brother and my mom.
