Everyone has been affected by texting in some way. You have either texted someone, read a text, heard someone use "Text Talk" or seen a commercial about texting. In this week's blog, think about texting you have seen or heard.
What is your favorite "text phrase"? For example, mine is "lol" because it really describes what you are doing. I think it is much better than "ha ha" which is what many people used to write to describe the same thing. When I see "lol" I can really picture the person with their head thrown back, mouth open and "laughing out loud"! If you've made up a "text phrase" and would like to share it you may do so. You can also write your blog response in "text talk". Just make sure to follow the directions as far as length and computer etiquette.
My favorite phrase is Lol. I made up a phrase that kind of make lol a little awesomeer. It is, I <3 2 LOL. Because honestly, I love to laugh. Even if its just a little giggle i still write LOL. My friends who i email from out of state make fun of me because that is mostly what i write LOL.

DeleteTexting has affected me in a lot of ways but the time it affected me the most achley my brother when was in 8 grade he got a really bad picture sent to him,but he got his phone taking way for some reason so my mom got the the picture.when she had showed jack the picture jack said I had never got a text like this so my mom went through to make sure there were not any more bad picture so my mom got the number of the 2 girls mom who were in the picture and called them to tell them what happend so the first mom she called did not even care that she did that omg but the 2 mom daughter got in big trouble.My favorite is lol because i laugh a lot so i like it tells the person what you are doing

My favorite text phrase is ikr( I Know Right) becuase if someone where to say OMG I love your skirt you would be like OMG ikr it looks really good on me. It is also my favorite becuase I love texting it and its so much easier to type then actually typing I Know Right. But I also like lol btw and others but ikr just happens to be my favorite.(:

My favorite texting phrase would have to be l8ter beacause i like the way it looks! Its cool!!! I love to text but sometimes it can effect the way you write things! The texting phrase i made up is idc which means i don't care i got it off of idk! I've been using idc a lot lately! I really like it and think its cool!!
My favorite text phrase is fav (favorite). I like it so much because you can just say ya that's my fav. Also, it is so much shorter to say then favorite. If you text me I will say it a lot. So next time you text make sure to say fav!!<3 it has affected me when I am writing and I'm like ya my fav erase grrrr. I really affected me a lot in school

My fav text pharse is ttyl. This is my fav because I ask my friends if they can guess a bunch of them and this usually fools them. I also like bff. I don't know why though. I guess just how easy it is to say it. Hey btw can anyone guess what ap stands for?
ReplyDeleteI am not allowed to text much. The only phrases I know are LOL and OMG. I like LOL best because it seems like you can picture in your mind what they are doing. OMG is more like they are just saying it rather than like LOL where they are laughing out loud. Texting is like a completely different language. I think texting is cool because you can write something out quickly on your mobile device.
ReplyDeleteI love ROFL which is rolling in the floor laughing. I can just imagine one of my brother's friends doing that. He's done it before many times at my house and it is still in my head. Even though I sadly can't teaxt, I like drawing it on paper and making a background. I learnerd a lot of the texting phrases from my brother. It has affected me in many ways because for me, it makes things go a lot faster especially when I am chatting with friends on pvLearners. I just really like ROFL.

My favorite text phrase BTW. I like it because I like w's a lot. Plus, you can usually say it when ever you want! :) I always use it when I'm texting with my friends. BTW sounds really weird when you think of it. I mean, you usually can't get t's and w's together even though this is a text phrase. That's why I like the words twig and twirl. I mean I know I use it on pvlearners and junk, but thats pretty much it. I made up one text phrase but i really havn't used it yet. It is, IDGAC (I don't give a crud ((say what u want instead of crud, IDGAC)) )

Hi my fav text phrase TTYL.It means talk to you lator. I LUV that phrase because I herd this song once and it was called TTYL XOX I love that song. And the weirz thing is I barley know the words LOL ,ROFL. ;D .Its crazy when I type I dont even look at the keys and i can talk whyle im texting about two totaly difrent things! I also like BTW like Kara H I think W's look like vampire teeth.

My favorite texting phrase is ROFL (Rolling on the floor laughing) because sure there's LOL but ROFL means that it's way funnier than LOL. I also like to say it, not spelling it out, and it sounds like waffle only with an R when you say. It would also look funny to see someone doing that, rolling on the floor laughing. I think it might make the person feel a little better if you reply to a joke ROFL instead of plain old LOL. Texting has affected me by interfering with my T.V watching time because a lot of commercials show something that has to do with texting, which is weird because it wasn't even invented ten years ago. It has also affected me (and probably a bunch of other people too) because t is a faster way to communicate than letters, email, and phone.

My favorite texting phrase I'd brb. Which means be right back. I like it because I can be texting my friends and say brb and don't text them for a long time. Texting has affected me because I can text other than calling them. I think texting is awesome because you can text some one instead of calling them and talking to them forever.

I don't use text phrases at all. I think my favorite phrase is "lol". I've never used "lol" before" but it is the only one I know. I would rather call than text though. I've made a phrase up but I've never used it. The one I made up is "ilp" it means I like pie; like I said I don't use text phrases.

DeleteMy favorite text fraise is "?". When they say "?", they have no idea what you just texted. It could have been "wwannnna hng ot tdy". I have to use the question mark alot to all the people who text me LOL! I have a google account, a phone, a PS3, all those you can send messages and receive them.

My favorite text phrase is LOL because it tells you that the person texting you is laughing.I know what LOL means.It stands for laugh out loud.So if your playing a computer game and something really funny happens then someone mite say LOL.I think LOL is one of the most resent text phrase you will ever see.

I don't really have a phone yet but I'll get on my 12th b-day. I just text for my mom when she's driving and she asked me too respond to it.(she doesn't like texting while driving) But my favorite phrase is gtg. Gtg means"got to go". I use it all the time when I play my computer games in the chat box. I can't wait for a phone, 2 agonizing years. :{) ;)

Well texting I've seen is me texting Emily or Annika and my brother and sister texting their friends. My favorite texting phrase is ttyl because you are taking a break from your phone and into the real world you go. Actually I have made up a phrase. It's 2mro which is much easier than spelling tomorrow. I wish their was a text phrase app where people would and could only talk in text talk and where you could post new phrases you made up.
