Past or Future???
Would you rather time travel 50 years into the future or time travel 50 years into the past? No matter what you pick make sure you explain why?
Make sure you have 8-10 complete sentences and that you check for grammar and conventions.
I would want to travel 50 years in to the past. Have you heard something so devistating that you want to go back in to the past to change it? Well thats not why I would. I would just want to see how my family lived in those days. It would be interesting to see how people lived back then. When you see people in the past you might think, WOW this is increadible. It truly would be. This might be the first step in to time traveling.
I would rather time travel 50 years into the future! I would want to do this so that I would know whats going to happen. This way, if there are any bad natural disasters or bad weather or even attacks and wars, we would know when it's going to happen. Which will make us prepared. I would also would want to do this to see the world in the future, and see how we live! That would be fun to compare from when I was a girl, to what my grankids would be living!
I would rather have to travel 50 years inthe future! I would want to do that becuase I would want to see the style of clothing. Back in the 1900s pony tail and shirt tucked in was the style. We think that's weird. but when were 60 years old we will look back and say that the style back then was normal. I would also like so see flying cars. But I could lower my expectations. I would like to see the Grand Canyon and see how much trash we would have. That's why I would have to go 50 yrs inthe future.
Just because you would want to see clothing doesn't mean the clothing now is bad. What is wrong with the cars we have now. I think there just fine the way they are. What is so special about a flying car anyway. Besides it can fly. That's why there are airplanes. It would be a lot harder in the world if there were flying cars. I disagree.
Well the clothing would be unique and would be interesting to see. He is saying it would be cool to see flying cars, not complaining about our cars today. It would also limit transportation on the ground, so lot of people could use wide sidewalks for what used to be the roads. Airplanes are also used for long distances, like Phoenix to Houston, not your house to school. I don't think it be harder with flying cars, there woud be less accidents.
I would rather travel 50 years in a the future. I would because it'll be really interesting to travel there. Think about it, we have iPhone's that talk to us. Think about what we are going to have 50 years from now! We're probably going to have phones that take us where wet we want, and cool stuff like that. Hannah
I disagree with this statement. What are you going to do because you went to go see? It's not like your going to try it personally. I think it would be cool just to wait and have it be a surprise. If the world is very technology like that, that would be sad. I think people should not be that lazy. I am glad that I will still not be born with technology like that around me because i like to handle things face to face not behind a bright screen. I think there will be non of that because there are a lot of land fields of trash, which means that why would they make more technology if they can't control the land fields that are making the earth dirty. That's why I disagree.
I would rather time travel 50 years in the past. I choose this because if people forget about the past then I will know and some people do tend to forget. I would also be able to tell my kids about the past and what happened. I think it is very important to know about the past because history tends repeat it self.

I would weather travel 50 years into the future. I would do that because I could see what happens in the future and I could see what type of technology they have in the future. I could see lots of new history and see if I or anybody I know becomes famous. I could see if a cure was made for cancer. I could also se what happens to me. And I could see if Halruandra is still in the ground if we bury her.
it is hard to figure. I want to see technology but i would bo back in time. John Glenn becomes the first American in orbit when he circles the earth three times in the Mercury capsule Friendship 7. There is a lot of histery in 1962. I wish there is a way to travel in time.
I would go back 50 years in time because of my family. I would like to see my mom as a little girl. I would meet my relatives and tell them the future so that they are ready. Would also like to take my mom to see the Mexican soccer players and go get A&W at the real A&W place where they will give us free drinks of root beer. Then we would go see Selena not Selena Gomez, but the Mexican song writer, my mom's favorite artist, Selena live. I would then go see my Grampa because I barley got to know him before he died. He would always take us to the beach in Mexico. I think that where a lot of memery are. Which one would you choose?

If I had to choose to travel back in time 50 years or forward in time 50 years I would choose to travel back in time. One reason why I would like to travel back in time is so that I could bet on sports events that I already know the score to. This way I could make lots of money for the future. Secondly, I would like to travel back in time so that I may help to create the computers, internet, Microsoft, Apple, and Noogle instead of Google. With the money I made from all my businesses I would donate to the cause of cancer research in hopes that a cure would be found. I would also like to travel back in time so that I may meet the great grandparents on my grandfather’s side that I never met, and spend more time with my grandmother’s parents too. Both my grandmother’s parents died of cancer when I was very young. I miss spending time with my great grandparents.

Would there be no dogs, or cats? Would a porcupine be as common as a dog is now for a pet? Or would scientists create a new breed all together? For instance, what if they cross-bred a tiger and a bunny-rabbit, so it had the body of a tiger and the head of a bunny. (But re-sized so it fit the body) I also would want to see the types of clothing people would wear then. Or what if a meteor hit the Earth and destroyed all life? Or what if we had flying cars?
I would travel 50 years in the future than 50 years back in the past for a number of reasons. First, October 22, 1962 (50 years and 1 day ago) was the beginning of the Cuban Missile Crisis, a really dark sport in our history. Second, I wouldn't want to meet any of my family members younger because that might interfere with the creation of me. I would go into the future and try to find out what I do for a living. I would be curious what happened in the news over the 50 years between now and later, maybe the Cardinals won a Super Bowl. I would also like to see the technology, possibly we have got to Mars, and how they cleaned up Earth. I would like to see how people live in 50 years, it is probably so much different than now. I would also like to see the advances in medical technology, like possibly a cure for cancer.
I would much rather go 50 years in the future because the technology would be tremendous! I'm not quite sure what the question is, if i could go into the future/past and then come back to present day? Or go to the future/past and evolve from there? Anyways, I would like to know what advances we have in, well, everything! School, technology, cars, gasoline, cures for sicknesses and diseases. That'd be pretty cool to know all that. Also, countries/wars, would America take over part of Canada or Mexico, Would South Korea take over North Korea? Would our government change completely? The undiscovered secrets of the ocean and more? So many things would be found out or discovered or changed or created.
I would rather travel 50 years into the future because of all the new technology. Plus, 50 years ago, there were no personal computers, and Itouches or any other advanced technology like that. Plus, there was some giant explosion 50 years ago that killed many people. I wouldn't want to see that. We've all already seen 9/11. Plus, I would go to the future because I'm just curious to see what place I'm going to live in when I'm 60. I'm also curious of what would change? What would be the same?

I would rather travel 50 years into the future. If it was farther into the past I would go into the past. Mostly because of the unexplored land that I could discover in the west. The only reason I would want to go to 50 years back is to see my mom's birth. I want to have an adventure not technology. The only cool thing I might see is a hoverboard. That's another thing, we don't know what's going to happen, what if nothing intresting happens? Those are my reasons.
I would rather travel into the future because they really would have really high tech stuff. Plus if I went in to the past If I see someone from my family I might put my life in jeopardy. ( Back To The Future) Also in the future it would be cool to see if they have gotten a man on Mars. If we started a moon colony, Or something like that. I wonder if then space travel would be safe for a Space hotel. That would be cool. Maybe they finally found a cure for breast cancer. Or some other medical discovery.
I would rather travel 50 years into the future because I would like to see what I am like in 50 years. If I'll have grandchildren or if I'll be a widow. I hope I will be very sucsessful and rich. I don't want to sound snotty but I want to be famous I mean, who doesn't? Or I want to be very happy and an average person. If I was rich Ii would donate to charities and do good.
I would travel 50 years into the future because, well, wouldn't you already know what had happened at that time? It's like reading a book knowing what was going to happen in the end. If you traveled into the future, you would have no idea what it looks like, or what kind of technology humans have come up with. Who knows, it could be like Back to the Future, with flying cars, polished metal buildings, and hover boards, or it could be like District 12. But, wait, if you traveled into the future, wouldn't you already know what the world was going to look like in the future if you return? That'd be like reading the last 5 chapters of a book before the first page! Which, in turn, is as bad as already knowing what had already happened! So, after all this contemplating, I would choose to not even leave my timeline.
I'd travel 50 years into the future. I'd be an old man 50 years later, so I'd want to see if my mobility's good. Plus I'd like to see how my son/daughter would look like as an adult. Maybe I'd meet my grandkids and tell them what it was like in 2012, since they'd have advanced technology, and robots. It would also be nice to know what technology would be like in the future, and I wouldn't be surprised if they made an iphone 55! I'd also check on my friends and see what their careers are. If I did visit my 60 year old self through time travel, then I'd see my past self again when I'm an old man. If there is, I'd also check out the computers they'd have (since everything would be advanced) I'd ask my old man self what career I'm going to get, or what college I'm going to get into. If I could go 50 years into the future through time travel, I'd share some memories to my 60 year old self, just in case my future self forgets
I would want to travel 50 years into the future because of all of the technology. If I traveled back 50 years I wouldn't have a computer or phone or anything like that. I would want to see all of the new sites too. I would basically want to see everything that's new. I would want to see if the weather is like in 50 years. One last thing why I would want to travel 50 years in the future is to see all the different clothes people are wearing.
I would go 50 years in the future. I would see myself, children/grandchildren. I would see if people were wearing clothes from my fashion line! I would also like to see the technology! If I could choose one I would choose to go 50 years into the future. Why I would choose to go 50 years into the future would be because I would want to see myself and if I will live long, or what job I get. I could also see who I marry (if I decide to marry someone) and if I know them in class! One very last thing I would love to see in the future would be my children and family. If I could go into the future or past 50 years I would go into the future. I would go to the future to meet my future self. Also i would like to see all of my adorable children. In the future i bet ther would be alot more technology, so it would be cool to see what people use. Lastly I would go and see a movie for two reasons. A) It would be awesome to see what movies are like now and if they came up witha any new categories B) i wonder if there would holograms instead of a projected screen movie. If I could travel to the future or to the past I would pick the past. I would chose past because we lost wars we from simple mistakes. I could stop that from happening. Then hunderds or even thousands of people would be very thankful. Also I might become famous. After that, if I'm luckey people in the presant would learn about me, Trey Muniz. The famous hero who won many wars and saved many lives. Wouldn't that be awesome? That's why I would pick the past.
If I had the choice to travel to the past or future, I would choose to go to the future. What interest me about the future is seeing what my family will be like and what they will be doing. I would like to see my family in professional sports and where they will live. I think it would be great to see what cars will be like and what technology will be like. I would like see how people will get along and what kind of new businesses will be invented.
I would choose to travel to the future because of our technology now imagine what it will be like in our future if you know me you know that I am all for technology (unless if we have a robot invasion from the future). Another reason why is because of our planet would be in better conditions because of the cars that are making our planet worse from burning fossil fuels who knows cars could run on air in the future. Final reason why is because of when I said that technology would be majorly improved in sometime far away from now like the year of 7500 A.D who knows if they would be able to get the technology to bring someone back to life know one knows and know could give a accurate decision about it know one could at all. And that is a chunk of the reasons why I would like to travel to future.
I think that I would go back in the past because then I could see a lot of history, buy candy for 50 cents, and not have to deal with all of the stuff that's going on right now. I mean who wouldn't like to buy like a pound of candy for almost 50 cents? And who wouldn't like to just get away from all of the drama in your life? I mean not necessarily your life but like all of the politics, and aliens, and maybe 2012. (I'm not a believer so don't freak out.) I just feel like back then it was so much easier and more relaxed. So that's why I would go back to the future! (do you see what I did there?)

I could also see who I marry (if I decide to marry someone) and if I know them in class! One very last thing I would love to see in the future would be my children and family. I would love to see a beautiful family and love to look forward to it!

If I could go into the future or past 50 years I would go into the future. I would go to the future to meet my future self. Also i would like to see all of my adorable children. In the future i bet ther would be alot more technology, so it would be cool to see what people use. Lastly I would go and see a movie for two reasons. A) It would be awesome to see what movies are like now and if they came up witha any new categories B) i wonder if there would holograms instead of a projected screen movie. That is why i would rather gi to the future in 50 years

If I could travel to the future or to the past I would pick the past. I would chose past because we lost wars we from simple mistakes. I could stop that from happening. Then hunderds or even thousands of people would be very thankful. Also I might become famous. After that, if I'm luckey people in the presant would learn about me, Trey Muniz. The famous hero who won many wars and saved many lives. Wouldn't that be awesome? That's why I would pick the past.

If I had the choice to travel to the past or future, I would choose to go to the future. What interest me about the future is seeing what my family will be like and what they will be doing. I would like to see my family in professional sports and where they will live. I think it would be great to see what cars will be like and what technology will be like. I would like see how people will get along and what kind of new businesses will be invented.

DeleteI would choose to travel to the future because of our technology now imagine what it will be like in our future if you know me you know that I am all for technology (unless if we have a robot invasion from the future). Another reason why is because of our planet would be in better conditions because of the cars that are making our planet worse from burning fossil fuels who knows cars could run on air in the future. Final reason why is because of when I said that technology would be majorly improved in sometime far away from now like the year of 7500 A.D who knows if they would be able to get the technology to bring someone back to life know one knows and know could give a accurate decision about it know one could at all. And that is a chunk of the reasons why I would like to travel to future.

I think that I would go back in the past because then I could see a lot of history, buy candy for 50 cents, and not have to deal with all of the stuff that's going on right now.
ReplyDeleteI mean who wouldn't like to buy like a pound of candy for almost 50 cents? And who wouldn't like to just get away from all of the drama in your life?
I mean not necessarily your life but like all of the politics, and aliens, and maybe 2012. (I'm not a believer so don't freak out.) I just feel like back then it was so much easier and more relaxed.
So that's why I would go back to the future! (do you see what I did there?)
