Would you rather discover a cure for cancer or be a famous actor?

I think I would want to find a cure for cancer because I would help make our world a better place. I would be saving lives!! Also I might have been able to met my grandmother. She sounds like she was a very nice lady, but she died of lung cancer before I was born. Also my aunt would have lived longer. A lot of lives are lost to cancer each year.
I would rather find a cure for cancer. I would want to because it can save lives. Also, it will be better for the friends and family of the cancer patient so that they don't have to worry, and know that everything is gonna be alright. I also think I would do this because it is sad to see people die, young or old. I would love to find a cure because my Grandma Nagy died of breast cancer. it caused pain for everybody in the family. I don't want other people to go through that any more.
I would want to find the cure for cancer. I would be saving lives. It would change the world. Then nobody would worry about getting cancer. Nobody would go to the hospital and being in pain and misery. Plus if you found the cure to cancer you would be famous. So that's a kill 2 birds with 1 stone. That is why and what I would choose.
That is really hard. I would probably want to find a cure for cancer. I would because my aunt had breast cancer. She is still alive now but there are so many other people that pass away. I think it would be very life changing for the patient, their friends and family and then myself. It would change my life because I would be a hero. I can not dicide between those two because I love to help people, but then I have always wanted to be a famous actress. I always have been told to do the right thing first then go do what you want. So I guess what I am trying to say is I would find a cure for canser first, then be a famous actress. If you were to help someone in need you would feel great. So I guess I would want to find a cure for canser. If you choose the other one its okay, not everyone can handle things like that. Even I cry when I see people hurt in the hospital.

If I had the choice I would choose to find a cure for cancer. I would love to save lives than be an actor plus I don't even like acting. And if you chose to be an actor just to be famous you should think if you found the cure for cancer you'd be more famous than acting that is another reason I want to find the cure. I could stop lots of mourning. I could put a lot of joy in the world if I found a cure. It would lots of people happy that there is a cure for this tragedy.

Its ABSOLUTLY AMAZING how many people chose finding a cure for cancer over being a famous actor! Everyone who has posted so far said this! Knowing that you will save lives every day is the best fealing anyone could ever EVER have EVER. If you eventually try to do this just keep trying just kepp trying what do you do you try try try! I would rather find a cure for cancer. I would do this because I would want to help people not have cancer. I would not want people to die because of cancer I would want to try to help them! I would want to help save peoples lives! If i was and actor i cant really do that.
I would rather fine a cure cancer! This is not a hard decision millions of pepole are died. die rom it . When being famous is cool and all . But helping pepole not DIE is more importand . I think pepole with cancer dont deserve cancer . I would be able to save a lot of pepoles lives and that is something acting can not offer !
I would rather have a cure for cancer. To me that is a retorical question.I would helppeople then become rich and have people at risk. That is very important for people to not have cancer, but being famous is fun, but like I said before, people may die. That is not cool when you choose fame over care.
I would like to become a doctor. My grandmothers died of cancers. I would like to invent the special medicine for curing all cancers. It will take long time. But many patients will be helped with the medicine. I may win the Nobel Prize if I'm lucky.

I would want to be a actor that is a doctor like dr oz. I would make the millions. I would love to save lives and be on tv every day. So i would be involved in both saving lives and being a actor. A lot of people die from cancer and are bald i would start a foundation to give money to the poor people who cant afford a wig of sergery. I wish i could be this in real life.

If you find a cure, you will be a hero instead of a phony superhero that actors portray. People who want to be paid millions as an actor, you'll probably make money either way. You would also saving so many lives, meanwhile actors take total control over people. People will also respect you. Actos still get respected, only in a different way
I would much rather be a famous actor. Mainly because I am a natural actor myself. I think actors make a lot of money, too. But, there are many types of cancer, and most of them have cures already. And, the cure for cancer is probably one of those things that the government is bound to keep classified from the public. So, in that case, I would choose to be an actor.
I would rather find a cure for cancer. I picked this because if you were an actor you'd be rich and famous and all snooty. But since I care I'd rather cure millions of people from a deadly disease. I feel bad for all those people because they are stuck in the hospital and many not make it out. They have to shave their heads and get chemotherapy. It probably seems like nothing to some people but it is truly horrid.
This is a hard blog, but I would have to say, find a cure for cancer. I would want to find a cure because it would save many lives including my Dad's, friend's brother. Also, like Ashley said, it is sad to see bald people who have lost all their hair to cancer.

I would rather find a cure for cancer than become a famous actor. Just think of how big of an accomplishment that would be, it'd be nice to get a cure for one of the worlds deadliest diseases. If someone found a cure for cancer a while ago, then Steve Jobs wouldn't be dead, and life would be a lot easier. A cure for cancer would save many lives, so hospitalized cancer patients would have a big chance of surviving. I've always wanted to find a cure for, cancer, and I know that that's a lot of work. If I found a cure for cancer, then I would make history, and be remembered.

Third, I might get my own action figure that looks like me. I would also donate money to charities and send tons of money to family; but mostly to my mom. It says that in the year 2012, an estimated 577,190 people will die. That is about 1,500 to 2,000 people a day. Cancer is the 2nd most common cause of death in America. My great grandparents both died of different types of cancer when I was very young. I would give anything to have them back. I think finding a cure for cancer is extremely important. If a cure could be found for cancer, others would not have to lose the ones they love to such an untimely death.
I would absolutely choose finding a cure for cancer because, no matter how much I want people to see my singing voice and have myself become a billionaire, I love people. My karate teacher says one of his students that is seven is in the hospital with cancer. He says her mom was crying and very worried. If I found a cure for cancer, she would be able to come out of the hospital and be happy. I hope someone does find a cure and soon.
I would without a doubt find a cure for cancer! One reason is because if I chose being famous, that would mean that you only care about your self and not others. Another reason I would find a cure for cancer is because if I find a cure, I would become still become a famous medical person because everyone would look up to me if I found one and i would get millions of dollars from it. So technically that means that if I found a cure it would make me famous and helpful, unlike Carly Rea Jepsen. (I hate that stupid call me maybe song) Plus if I found a cure I would be making so many peoples lives better because about 1/6 of the worlds people have some type of cancer. All and all curing cancer would benefit almost everyone in the world including me, and would make me feel like I was actually important for once. (we all know that I will never find a cure for cancer because if Albert Einstein can't do it how would I?)

To be honest I would much rather be a famous actor because I've always wanted to be famous. But the better thing to to for the world would be to cure cancer. My great uncle died of cancer and one of my moms best friends has breast cancer. Millions of people of cancer like yearly, and to be able to save millions of lives, that'd be awesome to. Also, if I did cure cancer, I'd be so famous and I'd get a lot of money from it too. So in all, I'd rather be the one who finds the cure for cancer.
