And or S

Would you rather never be able to say or write the word "and" again or never be able to say or write words beginning with the letter "s"?

Make sure your response is at least 6 sentences in length.

  1. I would do the words that start with S. There are a lot more words that start with S. I can also tell people stuff. When my teacher asks me a question I can reply. It would be also fun. Saying stuff that start with S. Which one would you chose.

  2. I would rather not be able to say anything with the letter S. Because there are synonyms for words, you could use those instead. With "and" when you have lists you have to use and. Also I say and too much so it would be really hard for me to not say and. S words are easy to find other words for like, super you can turn into excellent. Thats why I would choose and over s words.

  3. I would rather not be able to use the letter S. I chose that because i dont use alot of words that begin with S. Also, you cant do alot of things with S. Also, you can find other words exactly like words that begin with the letter S. you can combine sentences with and but not S. Thats why i would choose not to use the letter S.

  4. I would rather not be able to say "and" again because I can do with out it. I am now going to do my blog with out saying "and". Lots of words start with "s",like stuff, still, say, said, start, stage, stack, state, etc. So it will be a lot harder. Plus the word "and" is cliche. That is why I would chose to not be able to say the word"and".

  5. I would rather never be able to say or write the word "and" again because then you can just write shorter sentences. Easy! "S" is such an important letter! It's so easy just to have short sentences! Some names start with "S" so then you couldn't say or write your name!

  6. If i had to choose I would not want to say or write anything with the word "s". I would choose this because alot of words that I need to say or write have "and" in them. I use the word "and " alot and I dont really need the words with "S" and there are synonyms for words too! So I dont really need "s".

  7. If I had to choose between not saying or writing "and" or not saying or writing any words beginning with "s", I would choose not saying or writing any word that begins with "s". One reason is that my name does not start with "s". The second reason is because I rarely use any words that start with "s". Using "and" makes sentences more clear. An example of this would be the sentence "I like dogs and cats". But, if you can't use the word "and", this is how the sentence would sound--"I like dogs cats". This sentence does not sound right.

  8. I would rather not say anything starting with the word "s". I would choose this because most of the things I say or write, is "and". You don't need to use the letter "s". Anything that starts with the letter "s", can have synonyms for it! I just think that "an" is used more often. And is just more helpful.

  9. I would rather not say and. I want to say s because my name starts with it. I don't say and very much. Also and makes sentences too long for me. Also and is a boring word. That is why I choose s to like.

  10. I chose to never say ''and'' because think of all the words you wouldn't be able to say without S like school, sky, soup, and so much more. I think there are more times I say words that start with S than I say the word "and." Although, it would be difficult to not say "and" all the time. It would definitely be more difficult to not say words that start with S. Thats why I chose to never say "and". That's what I chose, what will you choose?

  11. I would never be able to say or write the word "and" again because i have one "S" in one of my middle names and i have an "S" in my last name, so it would be hard for me to not say my middle or last name. Another reason is because say if there is two things you would like to do, instead you could say we can do this activity or we can do this activity instead of saying, and. For another example say if there is a celebrity that you really like Justin Bieber you wouldn't be able to say his first name. Another reason why i would rather never be able to say or write the word "and"again is because if you could never say or write the word "S" if you wanted to say,"OO, look at the sky."You wouldn't be able to say it because sky begins with the letter "S."These are the reasons why i would rather never write or say the word "and."

  12. I would choose to never say "and". I would choose never to say "and" because it makes my sentences longer. Also I wouldn't be able to say words like sock, soup, star, or sick. It would be fun saying stuff with "S" instead of "and". "And" is also a very boring word. That's what I would choose. What would you choose?

  13. I would rather never be able to say or write the word "and." The word "and" is just one word, while there are many words beginning with "s."
"Shunta" starts with "s" so does "Sato." The words beginning with "s" include good words, such as super, summer vacation, smile, swimming, sports, shopping, space, save, and smart.
The word "and" is used to connect words to words. If there is no word starting with "s", the word "and"will not be in a sentence.

  14. I would rather never say and.

  15. I would rather not be able to say words that begin with "s". I would choose this because it's hard to substitute and with also. There are a lot of words with s in the beginning, but I'm sure you can find an synonym. For an example swim can be canged into dive. Save can turn into rescue. Sane can be turned into... well not me! ;)

  16. I would rather not say or write and ever again, becauses there are other words that you could use like also, aswell, another, one more, etc.. There are soo many words that have the letter S, "also" there are names that start with S like Susanna, Samantha, Sammie, Samuel, Sam, Sophia, Sophie, Scarlet, Spencer. When we make up "s"tories we might want to usse a name that starts with S. Who knows. Too many people use and all the time. Like in every sentece. We (as students) need to use different words. There are so many words in the English language it's not even funny. So explore those words in your dictionary.

  17. I would rather not be able to say words that begin with "s". I chose this because it would be hard to write without using the word, and. Plus I use "and" a lot when I say/write something. Also, I could just find a synonym for the word that starts with "s". It would probably be hard for most people to not say/write "and" because we need to use it a lot in our writing and when we say something.

  18. I would rather not be able to say any words that start with 's' because there are synonyms for words that start with 's'. For said there is whispered, yelled, replied, and many more. I could not live without and. You and me, and then we, blue and purple. Look at my blog and count the ands. You'll probably get up to 1,000 and 1!!!! There's another one!!

  19. I would rather not say S in the beginning. I would because I use "and" a bunch. I don't use "S" a bunch. There are not that many words that start with "S". "And" you use a lot in middle of sentences. I also like a "S" cause it's awesome.

  20. I would rather not say 'and'. You could always say 'n'. For example, "chicken n fries". For the rest of this blog, I will not say 'and'. There is so many words that start with 's'. That is what I chose.

  21. I would rather never be able to write words starting with "s" because "and" is a very useful word and you can make a sentence more complex. It also helps when you don't want to say three different things in three different sentences. You can just hook all of them in a sentence using "and". There are quite a few "s" words, but not many that I usually use. There are also synonyms for "s" words but there are no synonyms for "and". It would also be difficult to write or say things without using "and".

  22. I would rather not be able to use and again. You could say plus, in addition to, also rather than and. There are just too many words that start with s. Some people have names that begin with s. What if you are trying to get their attention? What if you want to say something, but what if one of the words has the letter s in the beginning and has no synonyms? You have no s!

    ReplyDelete
  23. That's a tough one. I think I'd rather not be able to use the word "and", because It'd be hard not being able to say words that start with the letter "s". I could use words like "also". If I couldn't say things that begin with an "s", then I would have a hard time coming up with synonyms. If I were to say the name of something that starts with an "s", but couldn't say it, I'd lose my mind! If I couldn't say the word "and", I'd be able to find a loophole.

  24. I would rather not be able to right or say any words beginning with the letter S. I say and a lot and I don't really say a lot of words that start with S. it would still be really hard to not say or write any words beginning with S but it would be a lot easier than doing that with and. I would probably go crazy If I could not say and because I use that word so often! I say things that start with s a lot but not as much as I use the word and. Overall I would rather be able to use the word and then not being able to say anything that starts with a s.

  25. i would rather not be able to say s. Why I would choose this is because i say and ALL the time! But if i couldn't say it i would have to say, " Can I have cookies? Can I have milk?" It would just be weird for me. Also I think i could live without saying s in the beginning of words. I don't know about others, but i think i need to say and.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would rather say stuff with s and not with and. Because if you cant say stuff with s in the begining then you cant say shunta sato or names like that. You can start a new sentance or comma insted of saying and. An example is sally went to the park, bob went to. Insted of saying sally and bob went to the park.

  27. Iwould like to never say and. If you think about it and is only one word S includes a gazillion words. Also, both my first and last names. Besides Ican work it out with my parents and teachers to say just an. It would be a great hasel to have no s. When someone wants to be my friend all I can say is hi my name is chae.

    Chase

  28. I would never say and again because it would be really hard to talk to anyone at all. Another reason why is because it would be hard avoiding the words that start with the letter. In all i would rather never say and ever again.

  29. I would never say and again because a lot of words you write down or say start with the letter s. Not to mention that there are so many words that replace and. But it would be awful not to be able to say Start, Star, Soup, Soap, etc. So I think that you get my point that not being able to say or write anything that starts the letter s would just be plain boring and awful.

  30. Easily, I'd rather be able to say/write words starting with "S" and not say "and". Also, I could replace all "and's" with "also". You could say "He bought eggs, also he bought beans." You could not say "The (s)nake (s)lithered down the path." So yeah, yes "s", also, no to "and". ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I would rather not say s. Well, I could never ever go without saying and. Instead of saying soap you could say wash. Let me give an example if I couldn't say and. (Example) My favorite things are underarmor, arizona, nerf. If you couldn't put an and it would be really wierd.Yeah, I would rather not say ss' because I could not live without saying and.

    ReplyDelete
  32. If I had to choose. I would rather not say and. I would rather say stuff with s and not with and. Also and makes sentences too long for me. You could also just say "also" instead of "and".

  33. UGH thats a hard one! I guess if I had to choose I would choose not being able to say word s that start with S. I would because everyday I use the word and. Sometimes I will use words that start with S. Even though I just used a couple! A word that I wouldn't miss would be the word STUFF! Man I cant stand that word!!

    :)

  34. Man that is kind of hard. I would haft to pick s to never say ever again. It is because it would be hard to never agian say the word and. I also use it lots and i do not use s very often. What will you choose.

  35. I would rather not be able to right or say the word and. I Would chose that because my last name starts with the letter s and I wold not get that far in life with out it. I also would chose that because I use the letter s a lot in school. I would be inbarist if I conldent tell people my last name. And that is what I would chose if I had to.
