I am happy to be moving out of Elementry school because it will be a harder lesson. But I will be sad because I will no longer be in ms. Preston's class. What I am most looking forward to is getting to choose my classes. To some extent. The classes I really want to have for middle school are the engineering class, and the Paxton action lab. I really want the engineering class because they build a lot of stuff and it is a total hands on class. The Paxton lab, I want because it is using a lot of technology. I am a little nervous that I will get a really mean teacher.

I am looking forward into switching for different subjects because it just seems fun to go into a different classroom instead of sitting in one class room all day. I would also think it would be hard to switch into different class rooms and remember all your teachers name and what room. The class I really want to get into is "Career and Technical Education" because the class is about growing up and taking a next step into life. I am most nervous about not seeing all my friends as much because I might only see them for lunch and that's all. I am a little glad to move out of elementary school because middle school sounds like it's going to be the best year but I am upset to leave Ms. Preston because Ms.P is a cool teacher. Another reason why i'm a little upset is because we won't be able to have field day!

One of the things I am most looking forward to at middle school is physical education. I will also be excited to take a class in engineering. One thing I am nervous about is being late for a class since we change classes for each subject. Another thing I am nervous about is having a lot more homework to do. I am excited to be moving on from elementary school to middle school because I will have some choice in what classes to take. I am also excited to be changing classes for each subject. I do hope that some of my friends here at Desert Trails will be in some of my classes. I look forward to making new friends, too.
ReplyDeleteI am most looking forward to getting out of elementary school! I was in it for seen years, I am sick of it, haha. The number one class that I hope to get into is Home Ec. I LOVE to cook and help out around the house. I just want to be prepared for when I have my own house. I am not nerous about middle school at all. At my other school, I had about five to six different classes I had to go to each day with different teachers, they wanted you to be prepared for middle school, like getting used to switching classes. In my classes, I didn't have the same people in every class, so it gave it that middle school feel.

One of the good things about moving up is that all of my friends will be going to the same middle school as me. I look foward to technology that I'm going to use in class. So I can bring NEXUS. I can use macbook,ipad and other computer systems from Apple. Math will be so much fun!!!~ I really like to get into a higher level of math class!!!~ I'm going to meet new friends who are good at math!!!~ It is difficult to say good bye to Ms. Preston but what I learned from her will stay with me at middle school and beyond. ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to Home Ec! It looked very cool. I thought it seemed like it had a very fun and enjoyable atmosphere! The teacher was really nice too. I am nervous about seeing my old friends from fireside. I am because when I saw them there it seemed like they weren't the same people that I knew in 5th grade! I cant wait to be at Explorer!

I love to perform infront of people. They can hear my voice. Except my voice would be in music... I am nervous about getting lost and failing. I just hope I'll be able to understand everything. The thing that I am looking forward to the most is probably the teachers to see what they are like and the classes. My sister goes to explorer so she tells me what the good classes are and the not so good ones. The classes that I would really want to take are drama, and career and life links. I am kind of nervous for middle school because I am afraid that I forget where my classes will be, but the lady that came to our school said it feels like you have been there for a long time after like one day. Also my sister goes there and she can maybe help. I also cant wait to meet new people and see some old friends! I am really looking forward to seeing what middle school is like!

ReplyDeleteI am most excited about Engineering because you get to make cool machines. Classes that I want to be in the most are Engineering, PE, and Band. Others aren't really that important. I am mostly afraid of forgetig where and when my classes are. Even when I get them down and spring breakcomes. I'll forget my classes and I will be toast. What I am looking forward to most in middle school getting out of elementary school as well as saying I'm in middle school. I really want to get into Engineering and Spanish. I want to get into Engineering because it looks awesome designing and building all these cool little contraptions. I also think it would be useful getting to Spanish because there are many Spanish speaking people down here. Plus we are really close to Mexico. The things that I am most nervous about are getting lost around that huge complex and the mountain of homework. I am really excited to leave elementary school, but said too. I have been going to Desert Trails for the past seven years and it will be kind of hard to say goodbye. I think going to Explorer will be a fun new experience!
ReplyDeleteI am most excited for the Video Broadcasting class and the chance to get in during 7th Grade using a video application. I am nervous about where and when I will be able to see my friends during the day, the teachers, and if the school's hours conflict with my hockey schedule. Being at Explorer and learning about all the choices the school gives you hurt my brain. I think if I end up being able to do all the things I want to at one day could result in my school day being from about 8:00 to nearly 4:30.But besides that, I am excited to go to Middle School and can't wait to go!

I am looking forward to our new electivies. I am hoping to get into art, PE, and Paxton career and life links. I am not nervous about middle school. I just hope my brother won't do anything to embaress or effect me... I am excited to get out of elementary school, but I am going to miss seeing all the little kids too. Like iLead I will definitly miss. I will also miss recess. Alot. I always have a blast (sometimes so i guess not always).
ReplyDeleteI am most looking forward to the library. It has way better and more advanced books than Desert Trails. I'm hoping to get into band and Paxton life links. Band would be way better in middle school because there is a bigger room and you get to store your instrument in there. I'm going to miss Mr. Stolper,though. I'm most nervous about getting a mean teacher. Although they all seemed nice when we went, you never know when they'll turn mean. You don't turn in your homework and bam! Terminator mode is on.

I can't wait to go to Explorer! Don't get me wrong I like Desert Trails but I want to explore different scchools. I am not afraid of the usual stuff like bullies, teachers, students, etc.,... I am afraid of teachers, and students, coming up to me and saying: "Are you Carolyn's daughter?" Really unsusal. I really want P.E. but now I want home ec. (I hope I spelled that right.) I am looking forward to exploring Explorer because it is a start of getting to complete maturity. Well that's me!:D

I can't wait to go to Explorer! I am going to miss all of the teachers at Desert Trails but I am excited to be more independent in school. I am really looking forward to the sports at Explorer like track, basketball, and volleyball. Also, I am really looking forward to P.E. Spanish and Pre-Algebra. I am hoping I will get good grades and meet a lot of new friends. I am so excited to go to Explorer!

Explorer sounds like a really nice school, and I'm looking forward to going there. The classes I'm looking forward to, is career and life links, engineering....and I think I chose art. I'm also quite interested in the broadcasting. All of the electives sound really cool, I can't wait to participate in them. Some sound hard, but it still sounds cool to me. Hopefully I'll get in the engineering class, and art. Hopefully I'll get good grades!

Explore Middle school sounds awesome. I am really looking forward to going there next year. I really like that I can wear flip-flops to school. I like the educational life links. I am so excited to go to Explorer Because i Love to learn more advanced stuff. Also I get to see friends from my basketballteam and baseball team the go to different schools. I am looking forward to the enginering Class and spanish. I hope that i still can see my friends because there taking different clases. I hope all the teachers are nice and kind. My sister had the spanish teacher and said shes amazing and loved her.Most teachers there liked u of a too so that will make me think of my sister and thats good. I'm looking forward to explorer. I can't wait till middle school. I wonder if I'm going to need to do a lot of homework. I hope I get into Spanish. At first I thought it stunk that there was no recess; but then I found out that during lunch period I can play on my Ipad (yes Minecraft finally.), so now I don't mind no recess. I am also a little nervous because my mom told me that she can't wait to embarrass me, so that will be interesting.

I am completely happy to leave Desert Trails, I've walked the same way up to that school, I've calcutated at least 900-1000 times, time for a change. I'm pretty nervous about the work and if I'll be able to do it. I know I seem like this big smart person to some kids at school, but secretly I'm actually kind of lazy when it comes to homework. I don't know if I can keep up. I really want to get into honors, I know this contradicts everything I just said about homework but you know I want to do it. I've taken the honors test twice now in two different variations and it kills me to get a letter back saying I'm advanced but not enough to make it. I'll work my butt off and bring to the next level to stay in that class.

I am PUMPED to go to Middle School next year. I am board of walking down the same halls everyday but now a hall to a new area has opened and it is calling me. I have had those hallways burned into my brain I will never forget them. As well I will never forget the years spent here and my amazing teachers that I have had during my adventure! I really don't want to say goodbye just yet but I am afraid I have to. I am excited to go to Middle School But at the same time I don't Even want to think of the future at the moment. I am most excited for all of the cool classes we are taking, also I find that a little time in between classes is pretty nice (even though its for transferring over to your next class). Also we can get away from our schools so called lunch... And we can then expect to get a decent lunch, not something that tastes like well, you know. I am looking forward to Explorer Middle School next year. I hope that I get into Plow Into Engineering class by Mr. Bowers. I think that it would be cool to make remote control cars out of legos. I am also very nervous to see my old enemies back from like 3-5 years ago. I am pretty happy about getting out of elementary school and going into middle school. Thats because elementary school is boring and that all my friends tht went to explorer say that its a pretty awesome school. Also not to offend the elemtary teachers but the Explorer teachers seem more fun. But Ms. Preston will ALWAYS be my favorite teacher. No matter what happens.

I am so excited to go to Explorer Middle School because its a big step and because they have lots of cool classes and sports that anyone can do! I am excited about art, Spanish, and drama. I am excited about art because it looks like they do more than just learning the same things over and over again. It would be so much fun to draw, paint, and color lots of different stuff! I am also really excited about Spanish because it sounds like a really cool language. I could also practice with my sister and ask for help if I need it on homework. The last class I am really excited about is drama because if people haven't already known... I am really dramatic! I am so excited to be able to show all of our plays in front of the school and learn lots of new things! One last thing that I am excited about is sports like girls basketball! I think Middle School will be the best 2 years ever!

I'm not nervous for middle school but I'm not very excited for it either. I am looking forward to getting out of elementary school and into a school where people will take me more seriously. Also to get a bit taller, haha. Anyways, I guess most people are nervous for the next grade, for example, I was very nervous to come into the sixth grade but I'm excelling, just like any other grade. That's why I'm not nervous for 7th grade.

DeleteI am so excited to go to middle school. I am looking forward to finally getting out of elementary school and into a new school with people that I didn't know like my whole life. Some classes that I'm looking forward to getting in is the class that you take like cooking/ parenting etc. I also want to get in some classes that my sisters told me about because they sai they have really fun teachers there. I might also want to take piano or yearbook. What I am a little nervous about is finding my way aroun the school and finding all of my classes. But, I am mostly excited because my sisters said that middle school was so much fun.
