Whistle or Balloon
Would you rather have the teacher get the classes attention with a really loud whistle or to throw a water balloon at the loudest student? Make sure that your response is at least 6 sentences in length.
I would rather have the teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest student. I would want that because it would be funny to see people get splashed, also I'm sort of quite, and whistles can hurt someones ear drum. If it's really hot outside and come in from recess and you start ghetting loud you can cool off. Water balloons are also fun to have in a class room. What if the balloon fell off from where it was and slashed everywhere. That would be so cool!:D If a teacher had a really loud whistle.....it wouldn't turn out well. People would get headaces, there ear drums bleed, etc.. Thats why I would choose water balloons.
I would have miss. Preston throw a water balloon at someone. I choose that because it would be fun. It also would get someone to be quiet. It would also let everybody know who is ruining there learning. And it would also be humiliating. And when that happens you don't do it again.
I would rather the teacher gets our attention by throwing a water ballon at the loudest kid. I would prefer that because I am definitely not a super loud kid. So, I wouldn't be the one getting pegged by a water ballon. Also if the teacher blow a whistle really loud it affects all of us instead on the main talker. Plus it would be a lot more fun to see the loudest talker being pegged with a water ballon than to have all of our ears hurting for the rest of the day. That would really stink.
I would rather the teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest student. I would like that because I think it would be very funny . It would also teach the student a lesson. I wouldn't want a whistle blown so loud that I would go def. This would also be humiliating if they got hit with the water balloon. That's what I chose. What would you choose?
I would rather have a teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest student because when I was in 4th grade my teacher always blow the whistle if the class was loud, it would work but afterwards some people started laughing. If you threw a water balloon at the loudest student it would show the person that's the loudest,"Hey I learned my lesson." Another reason why I would rather have a water balloon thrown at the loudest student is because whistles are really loud and Mrs. Tonjes' class could hear it and get distracted. If you threw a water balloon at the loudest person it would be entertaining for the class and for the teacher. Another reason why is because the whistle is for outside not for inside because it could cause people to loose their hearing. Wouldn't be fun for the teacher to be able to throw a water balloon at the loudest person? This is why I would rather have the loudest person have a water balloon thrown at.
I would want to have the teacher throw a water balloon. I would want to keep my ears whistle free. Most of the time I am reading. I would fell bad for the person who is talk to get the water balloon to the face. It would teach the kids to stop talking when there are not allow to. We might not the bring some extra shirts.
I would rather have the teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest student. I would rather have her do that because at the end of the day a few select students would be soaked. It would be funny. I would most likely stay dry. I still would bring a towel, though. Whistles are really loud and it would hurt. That is why I would have the loudest person have a water balloon thrown at. ~Riley
I would rather have a teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest person. I would rather have that because unlike whistles it is not harm other people. Whistles can hurt other people with there loud noise. When hit with a water balloon it does not effect other people. When a person is loud and needs a punishment water balloons are better . This is why I chose this.
I would rather have the teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest student. I would rather have that because it would be pretty funny watching someone get splashed with a water balloon. I wouldn't want the whistle because that would hurt everybody's ears. I'm sure a lot of people would want to get hit with a water balloon, so people might start being loud to get hit. Then tons of people would get hit with the balloons. Plus I wouldn't even get splashed since I'm not loud. So, I would rather watch the loudest kid get splashed with a water balloon than have my ears hurt really bad.
I would rather have the teacher throw the water balloon at the loudest student. First, because I'm pretty quite, so I am most likely not the loudest person. Second, because it would be so fun to watch the teacher drench kids! Third, because I would think the whistle would be th fire alarm. It makes me jump every time! It would also be really funny to watch others get hit!
I would rather have a teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest student. I choose this because, it would really help the loud students and I thin that it will be really funny to watch someone being thrown at by a water balloon. And you (Miss.Preston)have a really good throw! I will make sure I don't get one thrown at me. Also I think that this will help the class, not like a whistle that can help losing your hearing! Even though in that picture of the whistle up there is really cute! I WANT IT! I just really think whistles are dangerous!
I would rather have the teacher throw a water balloon because it would be funny to see someone get hit! I'm kinda chatty, but I don't think I'm the loudest student. I don't really like the idea of a whistle because it reminds me of some military camp. Miss Preston has a pretty good arm, so she would most likely get their target. Whistles would also effect the whole class, not just the loudest person. Plus, some people would get headaches or just get annoyed by it.
I would rather have the teacher through a water balloon at the loudest student. It would be funny watching a kid get soaked. It would also teach the kid a lesson. I am not the loudest student in the class, so I wouldn't get soaked. The whistle would be loud and distracting. A whistle wouldn't necessarily get everybody's attention. The talking might stop for a little bit, but then everyone will start talking again.
I would rather have the teacher throw a water balloon because it would be funny to see someone get hit! I wouldn't want the whistle because that would hurt everybody's ears. Also if the teacher blow a whistle really loud it affects all of us instead on the main talker.
I would rather have a teacher that throws a water balloon at the loudest student. I would rather this because whistles punish everyone not only the people talking. Also Miss Preston has a great throwing arm so she would defiantly hit her target! That would be fun to see! Lastly, whistles are #1 dangerous. And #2 just ANNOYING! That is why I would rather have a teacher throw a water balloon at the loudest person than have the teacher blow a whistle at everyone if they are talking. I am excited to see what other people think about this too!
I would rather have water balloons, because whistles are so loud. If you blow the whistles, I think I will faint. But if water baloons hit clothes, dry, and done. So you know, break your ears(ear) or you get your clothes wet. Anyway, I choose water balloons. Because they don't cause any damage to my body. Shunta Sato#28
I would rather have water balloons because whistles are just plain RUDE. I know this from the duty aids. Plus the water balloons would be hilarious. It would probably be really embarrassing, freezing, and ruin your clothes if you got hit. Plus the water balloon is like a grenade and would hit the other people around it. It's make a big mess, but nobody cares about the carpet. That's why I chose water balloons.
I would rather have the teacher throw a waterballon at the loudest student. I think that it should be this one because I think it would be fun to see a person get drenched everytime we are being loud. Think how many times Miss.Preston says class class to get our attention. Thats how many times a person would get wet. I think it would also make school more fun. The bad part it that someone would maybe want to get wet and everyone would start screaming...but I thik thats the only down side.
Am I the only one who noticed that every one choose a teacher who throws water balloons? I would want water balloons because I know the loudest kids would be quiet. I am not loud. I am pretty quiet. Not saying I'm an angel at all. The water balloons would be hilarious. I'd love to see Miss Preston soak someone. In class!!!
You know, everyone is all like "OMG THROW THAT BALLOON! IT WOULD BE FUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNYYYYY!!!" well ummm no. First off, it would make everyone wet and cranky, which is worse than being loud because they that person would be loud and cranky! (it doesn't make much sense but you get my point) Also a water balloon wouldn't stop anyone from talking, it would make them sad, cranky, and maybe even more loud than they were before! Also, a whistle gets everyone's attention, while someone who gets a water balloon chucked at their head my a pitcher would make everyone laugh like crazy hyena's! So yeah, while it would be amusing to have someone be splattered with water, I think it would work much better if you used a whistle...
Oh my gosh. I just got to say that this the the best blog yet! Water balloon is the best choice because I am not the loudest kid. I don't want to point any names but *cough* Brian *cough*. It would be super funny but messy. A whistle can hurt your hearing. But a water balloon won't do any damage. If it get in your eye it's just pain for a few minutes. I'm not that loud, BUT IT NEVER SAID TALKATIVE!!!!!!! I love cheating the system like that. Of course Miss Preston,THE FUNNEST TEACHER EVER, would think of that.
Oh, that one's very easy. I think I'll go with water balloons. First off, I'm cracking up just thinking about it, and there are teachers that already use whistles. One of the good things about it, is that the student might be hot and needs to be cooled off. whistles just startle me, and it nearly shatters my eardrums. I'm pretty sure water balloons is an effective way to get people quiet (if they don't want to be drenched) You'd need a lot of water balloons!
Wow Ms. Preston is right! This is the best blog ever!! I would obviously have Ms. Preston throw a water balloon! That would be hilarious!! A whistle hurts your ears!!! A water balloon just gets you wet! I wwouldn't want my teacher turning in to a P.E. teacher!! Whistling is too loud! Although, Ms, P. has a really strong arm!!!!!!!
This one is so easy to answer. I would rather have the water balloon in me chest than a ear bleeding wissil. I want to have it because it would be fun for Mrs. Preston to through a balloon at someone. Then if someone is being loud than the others would not be having to suffer. Then if I talked it would not be step it would be a nice refreshing water balloon. That would be fun. I hope it would really happen.
I would rather have Mrs. Preston throw a water balloon because she is a really good thrower so it would make an impact on the loudest student and would be really hilarious!!!!! If she blew a whistle that would just hurt everyones ears and wouldnt be fun but with water balloons it would be awesome. I think that also the class would also get more quiet because they wouldnt want to get wet! Also we could all where our swimming suits! hahahha! I think that Mrs. Preston should throw water balloons!
I'd have to say I'd go for water ballons. The whistle would just alarm everyone and probably cause more talking. Someone might even think it was the fire alarm and cause even more of an interruption. Even better I'm usually quiet so I'd never be a target. I also think it would help some students who yell out quiet down. Overall it's more effective, and fun to laugh at. Also, nice inprovment to your website Miss Preston.
Best one ever! I'd very much enjoy having miss Preston chuck water balloons at us than blowing a whistle. That'd be so much fun! "Hey, have you..." SPLAT! Haha! Not only would that be fun for us, but fun for the teacher! Who cares if you get a little wet, it's be a lot better right after lunch. Plus, a whistle would get VERY annoying. You'd have to pack an extra pair of clothing though. Haha!
Hard to choose but I am going to have the teacher blow the whistle. I choose this because The water balloon would get people wet and not in learning condition. Second reason is because I am sure that our school would not allow that kind of action from the teacher. Yeah the whistle would get annoying but the duty-aids job to annoy you with their stupid whistle but it would be less humiliating for the person in trouble. throwing a water ballon is a bad idea and it makes the no bully zone sign mean nothing to a teacher who would end up doing that.
I would rather get a water balloon thrown at me because its more fun. I would be fun to get fun in class but it would be messy. some people will be wet alot. Is a teacher even aloud to throw a water balloon? A whistle would be a little too loud. and would be no fun. Some days our classroom will be really wet. Too bad this will ever happen but someone could get hurt.
This is the easiest blog ever. I would rather have Miss. Preston through water balloons at the loudest person in the class. This would benefit me because I would enjoy watching Miss. If I had to choose between my teacher throwing a water balloown at the loudest student or blowing a really loud whistle, i would choose the water balloown choice. I would choose this because I am normally not the loudest student in the classroom so I wouldnt have to worry about it being thrown at me. However if it was thrown at me, i would be extremely mad!!! THis sounds a little mean but, I think it would be really funny to see Miss Preston throw water balloons at kids, expecially because she plays softball. Also if we used the whistle choice I think it would be too strict and the kids wouldnt like it. Although I would hate to get all wet and stuff, I would still think it was funny if it was thrown at me. Overall I think it would be an okay idea to use ater balloons. meghan#15
