This has been an amazing year and we have done so much together. The great projects and events, to the mind blowing trip to Catalina, this year has been one of discovery and I am grateful to have done the journey with you.

My favorite thing this year was Catalina Island. That is very cool because I've never actually been on a trip with my school before. I wish I could do this again. This year I figured out about myself is that I could multiply double-digit numbers in my head. I also am way better at dividing. This has been a very good year for me. I got to learn a lot about technology. That was really fun. At my last school we had old-fashioned computers not Mac's. We also didn't have an iPad room or green screen room. This was my favorite year at school.
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing this year was, buddies. Buddies was interesting because we get to hang out with the first graders and I think its cute to get to know someone younger than you, also I think its cute to show up and do the fun activities! The most exciting thing about this year was the Renaissance Festival and seeing everyone dressed up and get to learn new things. The Renaissance Festival was exciting because we got to see how it was back in the olden days. Another thing that was exciting was field day. Field day was exciting because we got to cheer our class-mates on and see their ability on what they were good at. Something that blew my mind, but I don't really want it to happen again is being the only big kid walking around and helping out. I thought it was really fun, but I missed everybody and I noticed that being a teacher is a lot of work! Something that amazed myself was being on the track team. This amazed me because I thought I wasn't fast enough, but turned out I was! Another thing that amazed me was learning grammer and improving.

I really liked Catalina. It was probably my favorite thing. it was fun and a awesome time at Catalina. I made a new best friend there. There is a great memory. I think everybody should like the field trip to Catalina. I had to do a lot of fun stuff, like dicect a squid. It was also the first time a went snorckling. That was my favorite thing that we did in 6th grade.

DeleteI really wish that I could go on that Catalina Trip again and learn more. That was a lot of fun learning about marine biology. It really blow my mind about how much there is to learn. About the species, the subspecies, and so on.The most exciting thing I think we did this year was the Around The World Lunch. I really enjoyed that because I got to try new things.That I had not before. I am really proud that I reached 6 million words. My goal for middle school I want to reach 10 million words. I amazed my self by getting 6 million words again this year. I did not think that there would be enough books to read that I would like.

My favorite thing this year was Catalina. It was a really fun trip, but I'll write about a few different other fun things. I really enjoyed the Renaissance festival because it gave us a taste of the Renaissance. I enjoyed taste around the world because I tried food I never thought I would eat. I also enjoyed making different projects including the Mesopotamia website, A ratios project in honors, Chinese dynasties parodies, Greek Gods presentation, etc. I enjoyed playing football and kickball throughout the year with my friends. I also surprised myself by getting two million words. I enjoyed this year and I am going to miss Desert Trails.

I really loved Catalina. It blew my mind away on how much cool stuff you get to do on a small island. I want to go back to Catalina one day and stay there longer (and still go to Toyon Bay). I would love to learn more about the exciting things in the ocean. Also I loved buddies! They are super adorable and fun to be with. I loved when we made the beaded candy canes. I would make those everyday if I could. I am going to miss them soo much!! The one thing I would over and over again is make figures out of clay!! I love clay! It is so much fun to work with. Next thing you know is I will make a brand new design. Lol.

The most interesting thing that has happened this year is going to Catalina and disecting the squid. I wish I could go back to Catalina with all my cousins. I loved the hike and our instructor Kyle. I was surprised that I could make it through Catalina without throwing up on the boat. Or without my parents. I was also surprised that we finally got a pet. It was sad that Owen died. A lot of things have changed this year!!!

What really blew my mind this year was making websites. I never thought that making websites could be so easy. I really enjoyed this project. I also enjoyed the Renaissance trip. This was my second trip there, and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. I also had a lot of fun at recess every day playing football with my friends. It was a good way to split up the day.

My favorite thing this year was the Renaissance festival. If I went to Catalina that would probably be my favorite but I didn't so I'll have to go with the Renaissance festival. My favorite thing we did there was go shopping. I'm guessing none of you know this,but, I AM A SHOPAHOLIC! I LOVE SHOPPING!!!! None of you expect that from me, right? Well, yeah. But while there I got a long bow. My favorite food there was the broccoli and cheddar soup. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! (Sorry Ms. P. Had to say it.) I also really liked the shows. I wish we got to see the sword sallower but he wasn't there. (poo :< ). We saw the Tortuga twins and the Wyld men perform. They were both so funny! I loved the dungeon tour because it was so weird. It was crazy to see the different forms of torture people used to use. I mean, putting rats, in a cage over someone's stomach, with hot coals on top of the cage? Or unraveling someone's intestines? GROSS!! It really must have hurt!

I had lots of fun at our school. My favorite part was jobs, paychecks, and class store. Most of time, I was welcoming crew member. We did gave some water to our school guests and we did take the trash to out side. I did banker and secretery to. Paychecks and stores are my favorite to. Because at store, if I have so many monys, I can buy everything I want. When I was banker at store, after you bought something I said to everyone "Thank you for shopping." because I like store. So I love jobs, paychecks, and class store.

The best part of this year was meeting my friend Hannah. She is amazing! We do a lot together like watching moies, go shopping and even are planning on going on vacations together like Disney Land and San Diego Mission Beach! We have a plan to go to colledge together. We want to go to USD, or the University of San Diego. Then, after we graduate, we are going to move to Austin, Texas together to be dancers because Texas is big ith the Sports Industry. We also wanted to move there becasue it's amazing and we are both not big fans of Arizona. Hannah made this my favorite part of the year.

The best part of the year is Catilina Island. I wish SO badly I could do it again. Just not the boat ride. ;) I liked snorkling alot and Long Division. I also really liked the renaissance festival even though we couldn't see the mud people or something like that. I liked the jousting the best their. I also liked the bird show. The bird that was super fast was awesome.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was no doubt Catalina. It was so awesome that I completely changed what I wanted to do for college. I loved the hiking and petting sharks. I like sharks. Gagaball was fun, but I wasn't very good at it. I also liked sleeping in a quiet dorm, only with Brennan. That's what I chose for my favorite part of the year.

My favorite part was Catalina. It was so cool being able to pet sharks! I thought it was so cool walking on the beach at the sunrise! I love the view from the top of the mountain!

DeleteThe most fun thing I have done this year is probably Catalina. Although I was a little seasick on the ferry there, it was amazing. The rooms, the woods, the ocean, everything was amazing (maybe not so much the rooms, but whatever). I loved the hike to see the dead buffalo, and the two hour hike. I also liked snorkeling. The wetsuits were a little uncomfortable (especially the happy strap, which wasn't so happy), but it was fun. I love that place and if I wasn't going to Europe this summer, I would want to go there for summer camp.

My favorite thing this year was the rennisance festival. The rennisance festival was amazing. I watched the jousting show where the two knights are on a horse with swords. I went to the maze It was super easy, you get a fake gold coin if you complete the maze. I also went to the torture chamber, they tortured people really bad back then. For lunch I had a turkey leg and some onion rings. This trip was really awesome, I wish I could go again.

My favorite event this year was Catalina Island. I learned about a lot of unusual fish. They had great food, despite the fact that the juices can turn out as a block of ice! I also enjoyed snorkeling, even though I kept getting tangled in kelp. I loved the hikes we went on, I even ate fox poop when we were taking a break. It sounds gross but it's really good! I can't wait for next year!

Something that I think that I did good at was my grades. I am proud because I got an A in math for the first time! That was really exciting! I didn't think that I could do that. But I did with all off the studying, and all the paying attention. Another thing that was my favorite part of the year was defiantly CIMI. I thought that was a really fun and memorable field trip! I will defiantly, always remember this year!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing we did this year was Catalina Island (CIMI). It was an experience of a lifetime. I loved going on the beach and having crab races with my crab whitey... haha. I would LOVE to go back someday because I had sooooo much fun! This year I also loved doing science experiments... it sounds a little lame compared to the other stuff we did but I thought they were really fun. My favorite was the one with the toothpick. I will always remember this year and I am going to miss it!

My favorite thing we experianced this year was the overall trip to Catalina. The snorkeling was amazing I even saw a Batray. Long Division was a highlight too. Something about the trip I wish I could do again is Gaga Ball. It was strangely addicting. Something outragous I thought I would never do is disect something. I thought it would be disgusting but it wasn't that badThis year is the most memorable yet.

My favorite thing we did this year was probably when we went to the Renaissance Festival. I really enjoyed going to the festival becuase I've never been there before and it was a lot of fun. My favorite part was probably looking at all of the different activities that they had. My favorite thing we saw was the guy who was juggling. It was cool and the guy was pretty funny too. My group and I just walked around looking at all of the stuff they had there. It was an awesome trip!

An activity I would give anything to re-live was Catalina! I loved it so much and had the best time ever!!! Something that I did that I never though I would do IN A MILLION YEARS was mummify a chicken. I am so glad that we dont have that thing in our class room anymore!!! It smelt HORRIBLE. There are many more memories that I had his year nut those are the most memorable. I had the greatest time this year with you guys!

This has been a really honorable closing year for Elementary school because it has been a blast! I am really happy that I have got a lot of As this year and have worked really hard because that's what I really want to do in school and I have never gotton a lot of As before! I also really liked hanging out with my besties because they are really awesome to hang out with! One of my favorite things we did this year was go to CIMI and I'm hoping the talent show because that looks like it will be bunches of fun! I really liked our art masterpiece project today also because I liked how we could do our own initial and make it any design we wanted! Mine turned out ok but a lot of others did an awesome job! I have had an exciting adventure this year that I hope everyone has felt the same way! I am really excited to move on and sad to leave at the same time because Desert Trails kind of feels like another home. :( I hope everyone has had the time of their lives because I know I have!

My favorite thing was the dynasty song project for China. I liked this project because it really had the most creativity out of any project that we have ever done. Also because we did not have to folly some pattern as long that it had to do with the subject. Also we got to work on making funny songs and show them to our classmates. I really loved this moment of the year. Why did I choose this. Well I bet nobody chose this for their moment so I gain original points.

The feel of beng in the olden times, adventuring through a city that is like no other is amazing! The shows were acted out well, the food was good, and the performers who did crazy things were very believable. I guess I like that period of time very much. #26
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was free recess. Free recess is my favorite part because we get 20 extra minutes of recess. I like being able to run around and be well.... FREE. I get the extra time to work on my dance. I get extra time to hang out with my friends, or play kickball. Or just on the swings!! Either way, I really like free recesses.

I wish we could go to Catalina again!! I had the time of my life in Cimi! I loved my group, they were all my friends. I wouldn't change a thing about that trip!! I loved snorkeling! Although, the water was freezing!! Long Division is also super fun!! I loved my instructor too! Kate was really cool and she was nice! She told me to call her Kate because thats what her best firends call her!!
ReplyDeleteCatalina was my #1 favorite thing we did this year. But my #2 was just coming to school and seeing friends. Joking around with them and the teacher too. Some days I was super tired and wasn't really enjoyable. But all the other days, I'd come to school with a smile on my face and waiting to see my friends. I wish Catalina was longer. That was so fun! Easily my favorite field trip ever. I did have fun at school this year. Some projects were stressful but others were awesome. School is kind of easy for me so I come to school and have a blast every day. But only for 2 reasons, my friends and my amazing teacher.

Maybe the most interesting part was going through this school year having 35 kids or so in 1 classroom. That's pretty bizare for a elementary school classroom. I wish that I could have this class for an extra few years, this class was the best I could have imagined. What really blew my mind away was that I ate something that tasted like salted carrots, it was weird. I wish that I could go back to Toyon Bay, but I dont think that Im ever going back there unless Im an instructer. I wont be an instructer when I grow up.

I think the thing I liked the most was going Catalina. I was just all fun and everything was just amazing. I also liked it because there was nothing that was boring and it was just active all day long. The fun would never end. I wish they had 2 ga-ga-ball pits so that when one game was going on there was a nother that you could go to.I also think it would be awsome if they had a vending thing that you could by water in it. I cant what to go to it again.

My favorite part of the school year was catalina! It was by faaaarrrrr the best because we not only got to go on vacation but we got to get away from parents. Parents are always saying how they wish the could take a break. KIDS WANT A BREAK TOOOOO!!! Also, we got to do so much! Snorkling, Gaga ball, Squid dissection, Ferry ride, I mean the list just goes on and on. I'm pretty sure that EVERYONE that went to CIMI had a great time I mean. No drama (for the most part) hanging out with friends, learning a TON! It was just a blast.
