Past or Future????
Past or Future???
Would you rather time travel 50 years into the future or time travel 50
years into the past?
No matter what you pick make sure you explain why?
Make sure you have at least 6 complete sentences and that you check for grammar and conventions.
I would rather travel 50 years into the future than travel 50 years in the past. I would rather travel 50 years into the future because everything would be better. The past is so 50 years ago. Flying cars might be invented in the future! Fairy wings might be invented in the future! Internet would probably be faster! Everything is better in the future.
I would rather travel in the future so I know what to do in the future. For example I would Know what to do for jobs, what job I will get, where I need to pay attention n school,and other stuff. I would also like to know what animals are extinct so I can raise awareness the present I would bring a camera for proof. I would also know if the world would be alot pollution in the earth and raise awareness in the present (and bring a camera for proof). That's why I would rather travel to the futere. (hopefully there was none of the things i said )
I would rather travel into the past by 50 years because I would be able to see a lot of cool stuff that happened before I was born. 50 years from the past would be 1963. I could see my parents grow up! Or I could be my dad's best friend. I could also be a fortune teller. I could( from knowing it from a text book back at home) tell people when a war was going to start. Or when a black man would become president in 2009. I think that going back in time would be better than going to the future because if you go to the future, at this point, there may not be an Earth. Maybe we'll be on Mars and if you land on Earth and it has toxic air. Then you would die in the future. Never to know what score you got on that test you took yesterday. #33 Carl Wolpert
I would rather travel 50 years into the future. I would like to know if flying cars were invented. I would like to know if we are going to other planets or have found new galaxies. I would like to see if robots have taken over our work. I would like to see if there are new medical discoveries that would help me. That is why I would like to travel into the future and not into the past. #11
I would travel 50 years into the future because I could see my children grow up and be their best friend. I could become future president and then create time travel for the future because time travel would have dispersed in the fifty years. I could see friends in their sixties. If something went wrong, I would invent a memory wipe with all the futuristic technology. I could see my parents in their eighties or nineties. That would be fun. I would rather be fifty years in the past instead of the future because I could meet relatives I have never meet before like my papa Howard who I am named after and my grannie Hannah who I am also named after. I could also meet my grandma's father. I think if you went to the future it would be amazing but what if not a bunch of different things were invented then it would be a bummer. I have heard stories about all of my relatives but I would really like to meet them and getting a chance to spend a day with them would be more than I can ask for. My mother always tells me how it is so different now a days then her child hood was like school and what they did after school.She said that school was different work so I would love to spend a day in their school and see how different it really was. I could tell amazing things that would happen and warn people like how in Japan there would be a tsunami in about 2011 or 2012 (I cant remember exactly which year!) If you could go back in time you could warn thousands of people of things that will happen so they don't die and live their life even longer. That explains exactly why I woould love to go back in time instead of in the future! #8
I would rather travel 50 years into the future. I would travel 50 years into the future because I would want to see if I had any kids.I would also want to see if I had a husband. Then, I would go see if I had any year books from the past 50 years. Finally, I would go see if I had any other family because my mom and her twin, my aunt, are only 20 years apart. Sorry not done yet. I would go see if I had friends and see how old their kids are and see if thier kids had kids.Here's the finale, I would go see new restraunts, then I would go see if they made new dollars or took the pennies away. That's why I would go in the future.

Like my mom used to play a game where you were tied to a spinny chair and you would go around real fast. And they used to tie wieghts to peoples feet and jump in the deep end. I would rather go 50 years in the future to see all the technology. I would bring it back to the present and show it to an inventor and he would take it apart and he would figure out how to make more and I would ask him to make me a new one.Then I would get a time machine and bring my friends threw it with me and I would show all the cool stuff to them.I would also want to ride a hover craft.I am also very curious about what the food tastes like or what it looks like.There would probably be rooms that were filled with different foods and you could just go in a room and eat what ever is good.I really think there is no down side about the future if everyone is nice to each other.
I would rather go to... I would rather go to the future and see if I got out of 5th grade. It is sometimes bad to go in your past it might not turn out what you expected. I would want to go in the future to see what have I became like a doctor or surgeon anything else. The future sounds awesome. In the future I hope to be a singer or something like that. I think it would be great to go to the future.

If I could either travel 50 years to the past or future I would rather travel to the future. I would rather travel to the future because I'm not 50 years old yet so I wouldn't be able to look at my own life like I could in the future. Another reason is because I would rather see what's to come of my life than to relive the past. If I just go relive the past I'll already know what's going to happen. If I had to choose I think I would choose to be 50 years into the future. I would choose that because I would want to be the first to ride a flying car.
