Computer or Dessert???
Would you rather be banned for from all computer use for a year or banned from sweets and dessert for a year?
Make sure that you defend your response with at least 6 sentences.
I would rather be band from candy for a year. An my reason for that is because, I don`t need candy to do homework and to learn and be smart. Without computers I would not be able to do what I am doing right know. Also computers help do things faster and easier. I as well like playing on the computer on the weekends for fun sometimes. Although if I had to choose that is what and why I would choose it. SHELBI #22
I would rather been banned from sweets and desserts for a year. The reason why is I don't usually have dessert or sweets every day. If I was banned from computers, I could not complete my schoolwork. There are other good foods to eat but I couldn't replace the computer. It doesn't matter if I was banned from desserts forever because I could still eat yummy things. I would miss you-tube and video games more than dessert. These are the reasons why I would give up sweets and dessert over computers. #11
Banned from sweets for the year. Cause computers are better and more fun. I don't want to sit on the couch fat as a hippo. I could learn from a computer. You can not learn from desserts. If there was not a computer in the classroom I couldn't do AR tests, khan academy and, sumdog. Sweets are not good for your health.
I am not sure. Computers are a huge part of our education. But, if needed we could live without them. I guess I could go without sweets if I had to. I just love them so much! I'm not sure if I would be able to give them up. 14
I would rather be banned from computers for a year than be banned from sweets for a year. I would rather be banned from computers because there are these things in the world called books. You can learn a lot from them and they are located in libraries all over the world. I could definitely not live a year without sweets. I can't even last three days without sweets. As long as you can balance your food choices, you can eat sweets.
I think that I would rather be banned from all sweets for a year instead of computers because I could live without candy, but I have a lot of homework on the computer that I could not get done. I also think that I should learn more about electronics, so I couldn't learn a lot about electronics if I was banned from using them for a whole year. I think that it might be a little hard not to have any candy for a whole year, but I bet I could do it. I also think that computers are smarter than sweets. Also sweets are not very good for you and you can't learn anything from them. Unless you count how you learn that if you eat too much candy and you want to throw up. But you can learn from computers, you can learn a lot from them.
I think that I would rather be banned from sweets. I wouldn't be able to do my homework if I didn't have computer. Also candy isn't very healthy for you. I would also not be able to do any computer games. I think that candy isn't always good. That's why I would rather be banned from candy.
I would have to go with no candy. I chose candy because the homework that we do like Khan and blog is on a computer and we need this computer for homework . Plus candy is bad for your teeth. Computers need to be used for school. Candy is so good but i still need computers.

I would rather be banned from computer use. This is because I love candy. Who would not like candy and pay days and skittles and Hershy's and m&ms and Gummy bears and Gummy worms and everything sweet I can think of, and believe me, I can name so many sweet treats you won't see one without me naming it. I also don't use computers that much except for school work. I may like using them but it's not my whole life. So this is why I would chose being banned from computers instead of being banned of sweet treats. #16 :)
I would rather be banned from dessert for a year than lose computer privileges because I don't have much of a sweet tooth and I rarely eat dessert anyway. This would be easy for me. But, I could not live without computer time because I play video games and sometimes they are even educational, like Kahn. I also use the computer to blog what I am doing right now! I would not be able to complete school work without a computer. Halloween would be a little boring if I could not eat candy, but that's okay.

I would rather be banned from dessert. This is because I'm on the computer a lot. I write, I play, I have fun. Also, I don't think I can live without my e-mail (not pvlearners, my personal gmail). Everything I do comes to my e-mail. My e-mail is also connected to drive which I write my stories on. My life would be pretty much over without it. I also just got this game for my birthday and I'm on it 24/7. Another thing is Sum Dog, Blog, ConnectED and Khan. If I couldn't go on the computer, I couldn't do most school work. Another reason is that sweets and desserts aren't necessary things needed to survive. I could still eat food. It would also be hard because my dad eats ice cream and stuff and I would be just DYING! This to me seems like the more reasonable answer because most of my homework for school must be done on the computer. For instance, I would have to use the computer to do, what I'm answering at the moment, the class blog question. Also candy can be very unhealthy for your body, and also your teeth. This means getting banned from it for a year would actually be good for you, your health and your teeth. Lastly, the world has grown very dependent on technology, so much that the world relies on it to help them with whatever they need help with. For example, the search engine, Google, is something people rely on to give them answers. I would rather be banned from all deserts and sweets for a year than computers. This was a really hard choice and I love sweets but they are not the best for you and I have homework on the computer for school so I would get points off if I did not do it! I love sweets but they are bad for your teeth and if you eat enough of them you could get a little bit overweight! Computers play a good role in my life and I use them a lot. In school I use computers a bunch and it is really fun so I don't want to miss that! I look up all different things that I want or need to know on my computer as well. In school we are also using computers to learn how to code which is really fun and I would not want to miss that! Oh my gosh this is the hardest decision. I would rather not eat sweets but only if I picked the year I was doing it. I would pick the year I would have braces because I would not really eat much candy anyways. It is so hard to choose because candy and computers are the best things not including My Little Pony! I will just crave up on candy now and I wont have to suffer with my braces. I got to go eat some candy! #25

I would rather have no desert. I would rather have no desert because I usally don't have desert so I'dd be ok with it. So because I don't have desert I don't like sweets. I also love going on the internet ALOT I use to watch ton of YouTube because I have so mutch free time. If I didn't have computers for a year I would't be able to write this blog!!

And you would get bad grades if you were been given a power point you would fail. It was kind of a hard decision

I take computers.I choose computers because I like you-tube.Also because I need to do homework.Also I do online chats with Aiden,Noah a kid in the other class,and my family.I am not much of a candy person.I'm not like some people who walk in to a store and go right towards the candy.I rather go towards the chips.I also like tablets.Tablets are like mini computers.They are cool!The only real candy that I like is reeses.Those are the best!
