One of my favorite activities that we have done this year was creating our own scranimal. I really liked doing it because I personally really liked getting to create our scranimal and writing all about it. Mine was called the Broctopus. It is a broccoli and an octopus combined. I am going to remember a lot about 5th grade because we did so many amazing activities that were so fun to do. I think that all of the learning and having you as a teacher has made this year special to me. I will never forget 5th grade.

The most memorable event this year was the Challenger Space Center. This was a fun field trip.It was cool that the kids ran everything. Science is my favorite subject which made it even better. Lots of the activities were fun this year.I loved my class but I am looking forward to summer vacation. 5th grade has been pretty memorable. #11
ReplyDeleteThe most memorable moment this year was the Challenger Space Center. This activity was a blast! I loved how the students ran how it went. The suspension was amazing. Though, we were struggling, we got right back up on our feet. The Challenger was definitely the best!

The most amazing part of the 5th grade year was definitely the best field trip I have ever had besides the Grand Canyon. It was awesome when the alarm went off for the oxygen and for not closing the probe door. It was ssssooooo fun!!! I wish we could do it again. I loved ms. Preston as my teacher because she is nice and wonderful. It was definitely a memorable year. I still can't believe it is almost over!!

One memorable moment I have and will have of fifth grade is AIMS. I chose that time because, I was scared of AIMS. I thought of it as this big bad test that only wanted to hold kids back but I defeated it. I smashed it. I was so stressed out about is. I always have been. Though I am especially scared of the second day usually because, I think it will be harder and I wouldn't get it but I did. I conquered my fears and that is why I chose this moment. #22 $helbi
ReplyDeleteI will always remember making our own scranimals. I loved getting to make an antaloth. It was so cool that I could make that and write an awesome story. I also liked that we could draw a ton of animals. I drew a hedgeacat, a polarfrog, and bunnybird. I would like to make another animal because it was so much fun. That was my favorite part of the year

One of the most memorable moments I had in 5th grade is field day District. I will remember this because it was my favorite activity I have done all year because I get to go outside and run, that is always fun to me. My second most memorable moment in 5th grade is AIMS I wasn't afraid of taking it I just didn't want to get a bad grade on it. Also, I am going to remember everything Miss Preston said about AIMS, like "Make your mark heavy and dark." I also really liked the Scranimal I made, it was called a Zanda and I thought that project was very creative. Lastly, I really liked the star constellations we made, I really liked the story I wrote about Turtllus. Fifth grade has been one of my favorite grades EVER!

My favorite activity field day(district). I will remember this because 1. I got to miss a day of school. But that's not the reason. The reason is that I got to go outside and be competitive. I also got to be with friends and with people I never met before. I also got a 3rd place trophy which to me as very special.

My most memorable project was my scranimal. I choose this one because it was the first thing that came to my head. I also had the most fun with my scranimal. I'll even remember it's name. It was, " The Chawk." Part cheetah part hawk. That is my most memorable project. #13 Nate
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed making scranimals, too. I see other people have said the same thing. I chose to make a porcupine fish. I liked drawing it because I enjoy art, and even the writing part was fun too! I also REALLY liked learning my L to J stems. It made me feel smart and I was glad to learn something like that. I know it will help me in higher grade levels. These two things were my favorites in 5th grade. Miss Preston has made my year fun!

My most memorable activity was field day. This because I got to be outside half the day. Also I got to be with friends. Another reason is I got to be competitive. I'm not even sad I didn't make it into district because I had fun trying. That is my most memorable school memory.

The most memorable moment for me this year were the field trips. My favorite was the challenger field trip. I liked to figure everything out for myself every once in awhile. I enjoyed the hands on activities. I liked the others too.

I will remember the first day I came here when we did the cartoon portrait of us because that was the day when I first made a friend in Arizona. Rebyl was my first friend and I have her number I am also friends with her on Facebook. I really liked doing the cartoon portrait it was so much fun. I did a braid with earrings and my favorite shirt with a yellow tang top with a blue background. It was a awesome day that day. It was totally awesome! I loved doing that I remember the first word I said in school I said. "HI IM SUMMER!" I don't know why I remember it so well I guess when your friends with someone you never forget.

I think the most memorable moment was the Chandler Space Center. I think that because the kids got to run everything it was so cool. I have always liked field trips and since I have been here that was the funniest field trip I have ever done. Although we have done lots of memorable stuff since I have been here. ReplyDeleteI have two memorable things that we have done since I have come that I cant rely choose from. they are the Challenger Space center field trip and making friends with Harmony and Summer. I liked the Challenger because it was so fun and the best part was when Blake knocked over all the chemicals and we were stuck. It was also cool when me Shelby and Nikia did the lift off. I also liked it when I made friends with Summer and Harmony because since then we were best friends and we haven`t had a single fight! They have always been there for me and I bet they always will. ReplyDeleteThis year will be very memorable because I had a lot of friends in my class. Miss Preston, you are one of my favorite teachers, giving us our classroom jobs. The jobs have been really fun because it takes us a step closer to being an adult because of the responsibility we have that our friends depend on. Also working with different people while entering a new job, like when you get out of college. I also liked this year that we did L To J. L To J was really fun because we didn't have to worry about getting questions wrong, but we wanted to get them right so we could get a new All Time Best so we could have a celebration. My favorite L To J subject would have to be Stems, then Landmarks, then Math Standards, then Math Ace, and finally Reading. I remember one day when we were coming in from specials and you said," Today is Stems", then I shouted yes at the top of my lungs and you looks at me strangely. I was really happy that that day was Stems. Ha! Ha! Ha! had a lot of fun this year and I think this was one of the top two best years of my life in elementary school.

The most memorable part the for me was having you as as teacher Mrs.Preston. It was the most memorable because I had in this class. With you as a teacher you learn a lot but it's not boring it is fun. We do lots of activities and crafts. We have jobs that pay fake money and buy things. I won't forget 5th grade, because this is the year I learn most of my english! This is a really fun year too! I got to do really cool sciens. My friends are in my class. ReplyDelete35 kids is the most I have had in a classroom so far and the best kids I have met before. I would never imagine myself being in Ms. Kosarass's class. Miss Preston is maybe a smidge cooler than Miss Kosarass no offense. I will never forget this class mostly because it is the most awesomeness. There is not enough words to descibe how I feel. Our class is awesome!

I am going to remember the countless pizza parties we got for Box Tops. I will also remember the class economy. These are memorable because we all had a blast with them. I also like that one pizza party we got from the refreshment roundup. I loved it because we got free sodas. The class economy was something we all liked because it gives us lots of new experiences.

The most memiroble moment is field day. The reason why is its so competitive and i'm a competitive guy as you know. It is very fun having a big class everyone has been great. Its so much fun being in the same class for all these years and the ways we have changed. 5th grade has been an awesome year for me. It has been the best year of my life!!!!

The most memorable event this year would be field day. This is because I like running, jumping, and throwing a lot. I am good at the 75 yard dash. I also liked the Field trips we had this year. Some not so great. Some were really good but not as good as the trip to the Grand Canyon we went to in 4th grade. So these are some memorable scenes from this year in 5th grade.

I really love space so my favorite part of the school year was going to the challenger space center and learning about space. I liked it because it made me work hard but I had a fun time doing it and I got to work with my friends. I really was bummed out when we had to go but we did make a successful mission. I love sitting on the bus hanging out with my friends even more! Thank You Ms.Preston for a wonderful school year!

I liked a lot of things this year I cannot chose a favorite! I loved being with buddies and going to the Challenger Space Center for some memorable activities. You made this school year so special for me I will always remember almost everything. I will miss you and all the fun activities we did but I am a little excited for sixth grade. This year was one of my favorites! I loved how almost anything we did was fun. Like the science experiments or our parties! L-J celebration were fun as well. Thank you Miss. ReplyDeleteMy most memorable moment this year was feild day. I liked feild day because I did really good in feild day I got first place in the softball toss. I threw 115 feet in went very far. I also got second in the 75 yard dash . It was great I also got secon in the 600 yard dash. Matt

ReplyDeleteMy favorite or memorable was the time we got to go to Challenger. It was just an amazing experience! My job was a bit boring but It was extremely fun and cool. My favorite part was when we were in the "space ship"!! I didn't get the part when the mission control went on the rocket like, in real life how would more people on earth would be able to go back to the rocket. Also my printer broke. That means that I couldn't get any messages to the communication officer. Yeah, that was a big problem...

My favorite activity that we did in class was science. It is a memorable activity to do. I love the experiments we do in class. They are so much fun. My second favorite activity is writing. I love all the projects we do in class. My favorite activity now is our mothers day projects. I love drawing a portrait of our mothers. Also writing why she should be mother of the year. ReplyDeleteThe most memorable activity this school year was going on the Challenger Trip. It was so fun and exciting and I had been looking forward to it all year. I was even looking forward to it in 4th grade! My sister had told me all about it and about how awesome and fun it was. What made this year special to me was all the amazing friends I had made and kept. What I found amazing was that I made one of my best friends while doing something I never thought would work. Each year the teacher makes us partner up with kids in the class that we don't know to try and make new friends. After all the years I had done that I had never stayed friends with anyone who I had to partner up with. We started explaining about ourselves and found out that we both loved the show Doctor Who. I thought that was awesome and began to pursue a friendship with this person. The person was Sarah and we are still best friends to this day. I found this moment very special and I hope to stay friends with this person going forward.

My memorable was the time we go to the Challenger. It was amazing that we get to do these so much fun activities. My job was the medical. I was worry about the problem because the oxygen was running out and the other team had to fix the oxygen. Then we had to switch around. I will always remember my 5th grade teacher.

There special because we had fun in those activity and they were hard.
in the future i hope it would be fun in 6th grade because they are fun to do in our grade now. So my activity are fun to do just like in 4th grade.

I have a lot of favorite activitys this year that have been awesome it has been a great year. I have me a lot of people and have stayed friends with people and still are. My favorite activity was field day it was a great activity. It has been an awesome year of activitys and and fun stuff. They have all been awesome and very fun. The best part about it was hanging out with my best friends and having a good time while doing the activity.
