If you could go back in time, as yourself, to live for one year at any point in history, what year would you choose, and where would you go?
Why would you choose that year in history?
What do you think that you would see and who would you meet?
What would make it such an interesting place to be?

I would go to The year before my sister was born. I would go there because I want to go back to the time I first met her. I also liked that that year I got LOTS of presents. My mom and dad also were busy so I could help out more with my sister. I had a great year that year because I went on a really fun vacations because I would never be able to go on a vacation with out my sister. ReplyDeleteI would like to go back to the time i was at my old school in north carolina. I would go there because i would tell myself about how much fun and all the people i'm gonna meet. Also i would tell myself that i'll bring a stuffed animal home called Frogzilla. Then i would tell myself that someone has a crush on my past self which i wouldn't understand. Last but not least i would tell myself that i was moving and i'll be very sad. Matthew covely
ReplyDeleteI would go 700 years in to the future so at the time of destiny. When Im in destiny I would meet up with the hunter girl and save the world. I would have a lot of fun training and fighting the fallen. But it would also be bad because if I fail all of civilization would die. It would also be creepy when you see all the alien hive stuff. So that is the time when I would rather go to. Ryan
ReplyDeleteI would like to go way back in time don't really know the date but I would go back in time to when there were slaves. I would probably meet lots of black people but that's ok remember that everyones different. I would get to know how people really felt like being bullied all the time its just crazy. I feel sad for them that they had to go through that horrible stuff. Hopefully I would get to stand up for some people and let them know what they are doing wrong to these poor people. I hope they don't have to go through that stuff in life ever again. Tatum Vigilante #19
ReplyDeleteI would travel back to the 50's if I could travel back in time. I would want to meet Elvis and wear awsome poodle skirts. The 50's also made a huge fashion statement on the world. Music was also huge during this time period. Such as the Bee Gees, and The Beach Boy's they are only a couple but there are so many more but they made a great music statement on the world. I think that it would be fun to go to the 50's because it was the era of time that pretty much got the world started. #16
ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in time I would go 500 million years back to the dinosaur ages. I would like to ride a brontosaurus. I would also ride a T-Rex. I would meet a friendly ankylosaurus and ride it. i think the interesting place would some exotic plants. I think it would be a cool place to stay but I would still come home.

I would go back in time to when my mom and dad were kids. I would learn how build a cabin from scratch with my mom and her parents . My dad and I would go boating and fishing. I would also learn how to work on and fix boats. ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in time, I would go to when there were cowboys roaming the land. I would be a cowboy and have my own horse. There would also be difficult times. I could get stranded in the desert, or run out of food and water.I could also come across indians and outlaws. I would also need to know how to ride a horse and use a gun. ReplyDeleteI would like to visit the year of the Oregon Trail. It would be fun to go on a wagon train with my whole family or other families. Plus, I'd only have to do one year's worth of traveling. It would also be funny to see Daddy with a goatee! I wonder what my family would put into their wagon. I hope I won't have to pick up buffalo chips!
If I could go back in time I would go to 1100 B.C. because that's when Merlin was alive.Also the time of Camelot. When Merlin was alive he was a wizard. Merlin made potions and was King Arthur's adviser and friend. When King Arthur was sick he made potions to not make him sick anymore. That's were I would go in 1100 B.C.

If I could go back in time, I would travel to the age of Roman Empire. I choose the Roman Empire, since it was the first modern empire of its time. I would want to see the gladiators with their armor and weapons. I would want to see the army and the ships in the navy. I'd like to meet Julius Caesar and see his palace. See the temples and of course the Coliseum, when it was full of energy and gladiators fighting. AA1
ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in time, I would go back to when I was a baby. I would go back then because if I went back to that time I would have no responsibilities, and I wouldn't get in trouble for something if I did now. But if I where a baby I would have to sleep in a crib and I wouldn't be able to talk. But the better things about being a is that I don't have to strap myself in the car and if I got hurt people would actually people would pay attention to me. Plus I wouldn't have a time I had to wake up in the morning at any time and could sleep for as long as I wanted. ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in time, I would go back to when I was two years old. I would go back to that time in my life because I would get to sleep when ever I would like. I would have started skateboarding so by the time I was ten I would be a pro. The cool thing about going back to when I was two is I wouldn't have to go to school. If I could go back to that time I could be with my dog Hunter. My last reason I would like to go back in time to when I was two my grandpa wouldn't be sick any more.this is from cooper #21

ReplyDeleteI would like to go back into 1998. The reason why is because that there was a lot going on back then so it was really painful! I want to help so it isn’t that hard for everyone. Also my mom was alive by then because she was born in 1977 and I was planning on being born in 1991 so that I am the first one born and I can have a job so I DON’T have to wait. If I wanted a job I would be a teacher, nurse, doctor, or a meteorologist! There is a lot to do out in the big open world. Also if I was going to be a doctor I would take care of the poor of injured. Remember, “Always save, don’t leave”. It is important to not to let people die, YOU NEED TO LET THEM LIVE because there is a Rare Disease called ALS and it’s a heart disease that not much people get! That is why it is a Rare disease. Nobody can find a cure, but some scientists are trying to find a cure that will save them all! There doing the same with cancer. I think it is interesting because of all the amazing theory’s that happened and it’s just incredible! The location that I would love to be at is at the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The reason why is that I want to study the Liberty bell and also clean and fix the bell so that it looks brand new! If people don’t want that, I don’t need to but I think it would be good cleaning the Bell for once. I would love to go in 1998 because for some reason, I like cleaning and I want to clean the place up a bit! That’s all I know why I want to go back into 1998. Those are all the reasons why I want to go Back In Time.

If I could choose any year to redo, I would choose the year my little sister, Ellie, was born in 2008. I would want to do this because I really want a baby sister. I was also in pre-school and pre-school was very easy. Ben, my brother, was also fun to play with. Plus, we had lots of entertaining toys to play with. We lived in a house where we could walk to our Grandma's and Grandpa's house as well. The bad part is if I would have to do all the other years again. I would be very bored if I always new what was going to happen. There are other bad parts too. I had bad moments and good moments. Either way, I like the year we are on now. Emily
ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in time for one year I would go to when the vietnom war was going on . I would go there so I could see my grandpa fighting for our country. I think I would see my grandpa and I would see a lot of people fighting. It would be really interesting because I could learn about a war and about a lot of history. If I could go 5 years in the past I would go to when I was 5 years old so I could have a lot of fun with my older brothers and see my family more often.

I would rather go back in time than go in the future. I want to go in back in time because I like learning about history. So that would be a great decision for me because I always listen when ever I'm learning history. Another reason is because I want to see my big sister when she was a baby, it would be really adorable. The third reason is because I want to use the items back then and see if it's really interesting. I would be so surprise if I ever see presidents when I would go back then then I get to talk to them. ReplyDeleteIf I could go back in time for a year I would go back in 2009 when I was in Ben, Origin. I want to back that year because I did't remember that much and I would like to explore more. When I'am there I would like to see the beautiful pine trees that were near by our apartment. I would also like to see what one of the creeks I was also near. I would like to walk down the creek and see the water and rocks. I also would like to go at this indoor pool that was really big. Outside the indoor pool there was a big playground where I could play.

I would want to go to 2004 because I was born and I got a lot of gits also I got to cry when ever I wanted to to get way every time also I can play with my baby play set it is so cool I don't know what I will do without it maybe cry. Another reason I could watch Dora all day long that was awesome!! Also I can go in the pool with my mom and dad but I have to were my sun hat so I don't get to burnt I have a lot of reasons to tell about when I was a baby but these are few reasons to talk about.

DeleteIf I could go back in time to choose any year to redo it would be the beginning of 2014.I would like that because I would like to see grandma Nell again because she also ways when i went up to go fishing at my lake house she would always make the best biscuits and sausage and bacon gravy. I would also like to go back to the beginning of 2014 because New Years eve at my Bompa and Nannys house in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We also banged pans and ran every were yelling happy ,happy happy New Years everyone. But other wise I would like to do that because my dads deer he shot called doc the biggest deer ever. And then the end of the year the day I saw lone survivor.

If I could go back in time to choose any year to redo it will bee 2009 because I was a 5 and I was in kindergarten and I got to get out earlier and that was awesome also I would get to have my old dog back his name was didi another reason is that I can go to my friends houses more often and, I can go on more vacations like rock point and Utah . Those were a few reasons to tell but these are a few reasons that I said hope you like them .
