Boring or Kind???
Would you rather have a friend who is really fun to be with, but not very nice
or
have a friend who is kind of boring, but also very kind???

I would rather have a friend that is boring but kind then fun but mean. I choose this because if I get hurt , instead of not caring, they would help me. Plus, if they were mean, her and I would be considered mean girls. (Who I hate)! I would much rather have fun and kind but if they are boring, I could think of something fun to do. They would always be there for me and back me up. If they were mean they might just ignore me and move on. Also, if they were kind, everybody would want to join us. If we were mean though, nobody would want to play with us. Emily #5
I would rather have a friend that is nice and boring than fun and mean. I would because mean people are not fun to be with. Even if they are boring that is ok ,If their nice. Most mean people are not fun because they want to gossip all the time . Or cheat at everything. If their mean and your with them you could get in trouble. If you have a really good friend and a really mean friend you might be tricked in to being rude to the nice friend.Or you could be tricked in to telling the mean friend a secret . Then she might go behind your back and tell your secrets. You nice friend might know your secret and not tell anyone. If someone is rude to you the nice friend will stick up for you. I would rather have a friend that's boring and kind than a really fun person but mean. Having a kind person in your life is good! Not a mean person! You can be starting to get mean if you hang out with a mean friend but with a kind friend it's all fine. Also you can ask your boring BUT kind friend if you want to play! So he won't be that boring like he/she used to! Just play and have fun don't play with mean people, but try to be really nice to them! ~Frances :)
I would rather have a friend that's boring and kind rather than a friend that's fun but mean because I like to have friends that are nice but fun but still kind always beats fun. Here are some up's and down's that I have with a friend that's boring but kind. One thing about a kind but boring friend is that you can always be kind back instead of a fun but mean friend it is hard to be kind back when there not being kind to you. A bad thing about having a boring but kind friend is that if your really active and they probably aren't I won't probably play with them because what if I want to do something like go play soccer and they want to swing. A good thing about having a kind but boring friend is that they will always be really nice. Those are my up's and down's about having a kind but boring friend.

I would rater have a friend that is kind of boring and nice than really fun and not so nice. I think someone can not be boring all the time. If the friend was nice they would be open to lear new activities and then we could have a lot of fun. Plus a friend that is nice makes me feel welcome and make me feel that I have to change for them. Also if the person is mean they might not stand up for you and if you have a nice friend they will stand up for you. It is not fun to hang out with a mean friend because you do not have things in common they might like making hurtful statements and you might not like doing that.A kind friend is always there for you.#17
I would rather have a kinder, boring friend because he or she would be nice to hang out with.This type of friend would not bully other people or my other friends. Having a kind and not risky friend will keep you out of trouble. He will also treat my stuff with respect. I want someone to back me up if I get in trouble not throw the blame on me. Kindness matters more then being fun. I like fun and nice but if I had to choose one I would choose nice. I would choose having a nice friend than a mean one because the mean one wouldn't be very nice to anyone. The nice friend would help me when i'm hurt. Also he would stick up for me when i'm being bullied. The mean one would start to make fun of me and start to bully me. The nice friend would say nice things too me unlike a mean friend. I would rather have a kind of boring but nice friend because they wouldn't be mean to anyone so no one would feel bad. As long as they are nice they will be fun to play with. And if they are board, I can try to make them happy by doing a joke or something else that will make them happy. If they are kind they could help someone with things they might not know or whatever he or she needs help with. If they're not fun they could do something that would make them at least a little more happy. That is why I would rather have a boring person that nice than a fun person to play with but is mean. #2

I can teach her how to play easy games like four square, tether ball and softball. We can go to the park and hang out and make new friends. I would rather have a friend who is kind and boring because if you have a friend that is fun and bad he could have gotten me in big trouble and I don't want to get in trouble. Plus if I have a friend that is very kind but boring he would still be fun in lots of ways. And he would be very kind and helpful if say I got really hurt at the playground he would either help me or go tell a teacher. If I would of had a bad friend they probably would've laughed at me. I would rather have a friend that is kind but boring because I don't like people who are mean and play sports 24/7. Another reason is that sometimes i'm boring to but if they are kind to me I will be kind to them.Being kind is more serious than sports and not friendly. Friends are nice and caring but if I had a friend that was not nice or caring than I will not be with them as friends. I would rather a friend that is nice but boring. I would rather have a friend as Mr.Nice Guy instead of Mr.Grumpy Pants because I don't like people who are mean to me because usually people who are mean punch me like my brother youst to do that. Also if I had a friend that is mean he probably wouldn't let me play video games. If he was mean I wouldn't want to hang out with him at all. But if he was mean I would be mean back to me. So that is why I would rather have a friend that is nice.
