Cures or poverty
Would you rather be able to cure all major diseases in the world
or
eliminate poverty worldwide?
Make sure you justify your answer and have at least 6 sentences.
I would cure all major diseases. I would like that power because people would never get sick. The world would also be healthy. If somebody was sick I could make them heal. If someone had a really bad disease ending in death, before they die, I would make them live even longer. That is why I would like to have that power.
I would rather be able to cure all major diseases in the world rather than be able to eliminate poverty. I would cure cancer so I wouldn't have to get a shot to help prevent precancer sells. I HATE HATE HATE... shots. I would also cure Ebola in Africa so I could go to Africa. If the stomach flu counts as a major disease then I would defiantly cure that because I hate throw up. I would cure altimers because I am afraid of my grandparents getting that or I would also cure ALS or Artheritice because my Bubbie has that. I would not want to cure poverty because if you are sick with a disease that will kill you and I can cure it then they will live, but when people are poor than they still have a chance of living. I would rather cure anything in the world than eliminate poverty. First of all I would cure anyone who is sick because that's really kind and polite! Second Africa has Ebola and I would cure that! Also I can ACTUALLY go IN Africa! I just think helping people is really nice and helpful and kind! When I'm sick I feel like I'm going to throw up or I AM going to throw up, so I would cure that!! Also if my family is sick I can just go up to them and cure it!!! SIMPLE!!!!! If people get cancer I would cure them because seeing people with cancer make me so sad and makes me want to cry! I would rather cure anything in the world like cancer, or blood stuff because I would want everyone to be healthy. I hate seeing people with cancer and they have to shave their hair off it makes me cry. I want no more of that I want to stop all of it. People with illnesses I want to kiss and hug all day everyday. People who have diseases cant drive so I would want to give them an opportunity to do that stuff. People like this out their probably want to do sports be a model they can be that stuff they just have to believe in themselves. I want to make that happen for everyone out there so they can be happy and live a normal life. That is why I would rather choose cure all diseases. I would rather be able to cure major diseases because it could help a lot of people. There are so many diseases that are unhealthy for them and I want to help them. Also cancer is a bad disease for most people and it makes them really sick. Diseases can be hard but a lot of people are trying to stop it. I would love it if I could help cancer and other diseases. I would rather cure ever major disease because if I just mess up some world wide thing then it does not matter. You can have ALS or a brain disease and that is deadly OR EVEN someone can have cancer! I would rather have a cure than world wide things also because I do not watch world wide stuff and yeah. I don't honestly like world wide things too so yeah. I would rather eliminate poverty worldwide. Some of the poor people could help cure major diseases if they got into a good college. Most of the poor people are sick so I could also help them be healthy again. Some poor unhealthy person could spread a new disease. If nobody is poor anymore, maybe there won't be as much diseases spread. Poorness could also cause war. If nobody is poor anymore, nobody could fight against poorness. There would not be any more people begging for money on the street. If people were, we would know they were faking and not give them money. Also, it is not people's fault they are poor. There building they work at could have been closed down. That's not there fault. People who get sick could be from un-healthieness. Emily Campbell #5
I would rather cure all diseases than solve poverty. I would cure all disease because it would save money for everyone who then could contribute to solving poverty. Also, curing disease would make everyone lead happier and healthier lives. Curing diseases would save money because you wouldn't have to go to the doctor, buy medicine or have tests done. Furthermore, you could hang out with all your friends without being worried about getting sick or making others sick. People would be more active because they wouldn't be sick. Also, people could afford food, vacations and give to others if they weren't giving money to take care of their diseases. Curing diseases would be like giving the people three wishes. Another reason is because I could cure cancer and other deadly diseases. Then when people are about to pass away I could come and cure them. So that is why I would want to cure diseases instead of solve poverty.

I would rather cure all major diseases because it would make people more happy to see there relatives or friends better. It would also make people not die by diseases but old age. It could also help out major countries without medicine and make them better. People won't have to worry about others with cancer, ALS, etc if there was a cure for every diseases. I would rather cure poverty rather than curing all diseases. There are more people who are poor than people with diseases. If you just saved everyone with a disease, people would still get sick from them. If you are poor, you may not be able to afford a cure. As you can see curing poverty is more important than curing diseases. Ryan
I would rather cure all major diseases than end poverty. First, diseases could seriously harm, or even kill people. Can you say the same for poverty? Second, I think most people would rather be poor than sick. I would rather be poor than sick! Finally, there would be no more getting shots or medical bills. I would rather have all major diseases cured than poverty. One reason is that if all of the most major diseases are cured a lot of families would be very grateful. Plus if you had someone that was in the hospital with a disease they would be cured and you wouldn't have to worry about them. Another reason is that if you were to cure all the diseases no one would have to worry about it. And if you were to get sick it would probably only be a cold or something else minor. If anything I would rather have a cure for all diseases. One reason is because if anyone got cancer including me we would be able to get cured so easily. Another reason is because it will be nice to know that if you got cancer you could be cured easily. I would rather have all poverty eliminated rather than all desieses. I would do that because I don't like seeing poor people on the side of the road. Also I wouldn't want to be poor when I grow up so I would eliminate it. I don't like seeing the poor people on the side of the road because they make me sad. Also I would do that because I don't really like poor people around the world. If that would happen that would be cool.

I wouldn't want to cure all major diseases because if people had money they could go to the hospital and get cured. My last reason I wouldn't want to cure all diseases is because if people had money thy couldn't die from starving and they could buy fresh food because if they had food and it went stale they might get sick or catch a disease.

I would rather cure poverty rather than curing all diseases. There are more people who are poor than people with diseases.
