This blog is a way for all of us to further our writing skills. We can also read each others responses and give props to each other and reflect on what others have said.
I would rather not have to do any homework than not have to do any tests. If you have no home work you could just come home and relax without worrying about what you actually NEED to do, like home work. Sometimes home work is hard you might get stuck on a question for hours or who knows how long. It Also could be a lot of homework like in high school there are essays for home work sometimes. I would rather pick to not to have homework. I picked this because you get more free time after school. .Also I world ride my bike more.I get to also play soccer more. I would go to my neighbors house to play in the pool. I think homework should be accredited for people how are failing. AA1

I would rather have no tests than have no homework. Some people HATE homework and would pick not having homework. I actually like homework, sometimes. My Mom likes homework because she can see what I am learning in school. If I am having trouble on a subject, my tutor can help me. If there, are no tests than I can spend more time on my after school activities. I think studying for a test is very stressful. I'm always afraid that I will fail or forget to study. I would rather have no home work. I would get more time to play. Homework is less important then tests becouse test are for grades. Grades are important. Homework, I think is not, . It takes up to much family time.
I would rather have no homework than no tests. f there were no tests how would we get grades? We would not have any!!!!!!! After school I would much rather hangout with friends then do homework. No homework I think would cause less stress too. I am ALWAYS nervous I forgot my homework. If there was no homework, what would I have to stress about. Some people sometimes forget there homework. We could get behind because they have not learned the lesson. Kids also could be more active and get healthier by instead of doing homework, you could play a sport. It would also waste a lot less paper. Maybe, if there was less homework, kids would want to do Khan and Study Island more. They don't have any other homework to do so they go on Khan. You could get stuck on a question for a loooooooooong time. Then kids might just rush threw it. It would be better to go over the practice nice and slow at school. Tests are important so you can see how much you have improved. Also how much more do you need to concentrate. Grades help parents get a picture of how there kids are doing. If your parent wants to see what you are learning about in classes, that is why there are confrences. Grades also help parents see if there child needs a tutor. Emily Campbell #5
I would rather have just not as much homework and not as many tests. I believe that homework and tests are equally important because the skills will be used later on in life. Math skills will be used when I need to balance out a check or a pay bills. homework is a prep for a test and it helps build study skills to help you in tests. When you take a test it just shows what you know and when you pass it builds self esteem and confidence. If there was less homework and tests, there would be more time to go walk my dog, start a hobby or just not worry about forgetting and getting bad grades. I would rather have no homework because tests are fun and they keep you grades up all the time. First of all tests are important because you get grades from them and sometimes they are fun and sometimes they are not but no homework would be great. You could have a free afternoon to yourself and do whatever you do. You could also do sports and not have to do your homework in the morning if you forget to do it during the day. I would rather do no homework because you can relax when you get home. Then maybe you can invite friends over and have a nice time. Or even just play games like board games or video games if you like. One the problems with this is if there are quizzes that you couldn't study for. If you do well on test then you get better grades which will help you get a good job and earn good money, but if you do bad because maybe you didn't study which you really couldn't without homework you get a bad grade in that subject. I would rather have no homework than have no tests. One reason is that when you get home you don't have to be stressed about having to do all your homework and you could relax because you don't have work to do. Plus you could go and play with your friends or with sibling because you have more time. Another reason why I would like to have no homework is because test you can just study for and won't take as much time as having to do homework. If you had homework it would take you a lot more time to finish and maybe even stay up late and not get enough sleep because you were doing your homework. I would rather have a test than homework and heres why. If you have a test it will be completed in school. If you have homework you wont get to do any of the fun stuff you want to do. Also if you take tests in school and finish them then you wont have to do anything at home. Also tests aren't always so hard so it would be easy. But homework you have to do everything at home and it is a distraction because maybe one of your family members wants to play, but you cant. Also the tv will be on and that doesn't help at all. But tests are at school type things so there wouldn't be a tv or annoying siblings to bother you. So I think a test would be better than homework.#6

Second of all, if you had no tests, than you wouldn't be all nervous or scared of an upcoming test. Also, part of your homework is usually to study for a test, so no tests would mean less homework. I know some students would rather have no homework, but I hope that someone will come to agree with me that no tests is best.
I would have no homework rather than no test because I want a lot of time to play. We would get to play for the rest of the day. If we had gone on a vacation we would not have to do make up homework.
