My favorite memory of 5th grade is when we made the paper and ink. I remember that the berries were SUPER cold and our hands were numb. I also really likes colonial day. I think I liked eating cornbread and the butter we made. It was so delicious. At the end of the day my Bubbie (grandma) showed up and got to see the fun things we were doing. I also like the project we are doing now. Even though Tatum and I are probably not going to finish in time I still think it is fun. I think my favorite field trip will be the Challenger field trip. I guess I will know tomorrow. I really want to stay in 5th grade FOREVER!! Courtney
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part this year is colonial day.I liked getting to shake the milk and eating the bread. The fishing was pretty difficult but fun. Its sad that I was not in the same groups as all my friends. My over all favorite part was playing kick the can. That's the best part of this year. Ryan Hanover

ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory in 5th grade is a lot! But my favorite is when we get to do field day! My favorite activity in field was the high jump! I got 1st place in my group! It was super fun! I also really like tax day! We were like the colonists back then! I learned a lot that day! 5th grade was the best year! Ms. Preston make us do fun projects! I don't care if it's hard, it's called learning! -Frances:)
ReplyDeleteThe most vivid memory I have of 5th grade was the first free recess we ever had. That was also the same day that I broke my arm doing a cartwheel. My favorite memory of 5th was Colonial Day because I liked how when you shook the milk and then it eventually turned int butter and we all ate it with cornbread. This was also the day I was free of my cast after 3 really uncomfortable months. Another favorite memory I have of 5th grade was when I went to Scitech with a lot of other people and we all shared our Dupont Challenges. This is memorable to me because we all got to see a robot that could pick up a giant ball and then launch the ball that was named "Bruce". Also having Ms.Preston to memorable to me in 5th grade because she always tortured us whenever she got her chance. These are all my most favorite memories of 5th grade! ~*Mason#15*~ X3
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing that stood out to me was all the fun science projects that we did they were so fun and exciting. Also tax day that was really fun be4cause I got to be rich on that day. (thanks) Any way I Loved all the stuff that we did all year because you would never make them boring enough to were i'm yauning. I had soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun in 5th grade. ReplyDeleteMy favorite moment is when we went to Chase Field It was huge because I never went to baseball game or watched one. l loved when we did our DuPont challenge because of the money. Miss Preston is really funny and fun at the same time. I liked Field day because of the running and jumping. I really liked when you tortured us and I wish we can wet spaghetti noodles fight. I am going to miss you Miss Preston. AVISHKAR DESHMANE =)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite moment is when we did the explorers commercial. I remember when we were practicing our Asian commercials. It stands out because it was really fun. I was dressed up as a girl! It was exiting because we recorded it. I was selling a silk toy from Asia to Dylan the old man. He was going to give it to his Grandchildren. It's memorable because some were funny. That is what is memorable.

I realy liked when Miss preston pretended to be Queen. It was fun but I disagreed. I knew it had to be a leason. Skittles as money was temting to eat. People were pour and rich. I was im between. We did a lot of fun thins but that was fun. My favorite feild trip was Challenger Space Center because we did our own things like a job. I was REMOTE, it was fun. That was so memorable! ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory of 5th grade was in the beginning of the year when we learned tons of new things. I remember doing our portraits from the beginning of the year. Something that stood out for me was when we did all the history. What made it exciting and memorable for me was because we did lots of cool projects assignments and field trips (my favorite field trip was Challenger Space Center!) I also remember going to chase field when we seen the fire tricks. Those are a few of the things I remember from this year, have a great year!

My favorite memory is when we went to Challenger Space Center. I really liked this field trip because Cooper and I were probe on the space craft and we got to build part of a probe before we a meteor and Matt's station exploded. I liked it because we had to do things on our own and we worked liked a team. I liked the real life experiences when the main cabin ran out of air and Cooper and I had all the air. I think it was better to have this field trip at the end of the year and not beginning. 5th grade has been amazing and one of the best experiences with Ms Preston JT Scannell #17
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory was when we went to challenger space center and my station exploded. Plus when we were panicking because the oxygen was going to be gone in 12 seconds. The station Camden and I were at was really cool because we had smoke pouring out of the fans and we had science tubes and goggle with a suit some water and a hand lense. At the begging the fan smelled like brown sugar, me and camden loved the smell but a few minutes later the smoke was pouring out. Camden and I thought that the red lights in the oxygen station was bad so we turned it green, then a minute later we were down to five minutes of oxygen. Also, another favorite moment was when we went through the rotating door. Plus, when the bus drivers seat would bounce up really high and we would freak out. Another was when we were in the control room and were watching our friends work and send them emails. Matthew Covely
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory from 5th grade was making our DuPont Challenge projects and presenting them at the Sci-Tech Festival. First, it was hard work researching for our presentations, and I was glad Rachel was there to help! Then, we had to type and decorate all the slides with images relating to the topics. My favorite slide is "Farms of the Future" because it has cute pictures of cows! The best part was getting to present our poster boards at the Sci-Tech festival and show all our hard work! Some of my favorite parts include driving a robot into my Dad's foot, scaring my sister with a plastic skull, the eclipse glasses that let you stare directly at the sun, and looking at different bacteria and diseases through a microscope. I can't wait to make new memories next year, but I will never forget the DuPont Challenge in 5th grade.

My favorite memory from 5th grade was making the dupont.I liked the dupont because it was cool that we could chose want we wanted.One other thing i liked was when we made those dolls that repersented us.What i like about the dupont is when we got to use cool backrounds and got to make it on too a bored.This is what i rember of 5th grade.AA1
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory from fifth grade is going to the Challenger Space Center because it was very fun to go to. It was exciting to do certain missions for your certain on mine was MED. This memory that stands out from all the rest of the things in fifth grade because we had to do our own thing without help from the teachers or parents that participated. This field trip was much more intense and better to experience and that's why it stands out so much for me in the fifth grade year. It sometimes became very confusing but at the same time very interesting to see. All in all fifth grade was an amazing year to experience and I had so much fun with so many memories, I won't ever forget this good year.

My favorite memory so far was the Challenger Space Center. Why because I thought it was so cool and when Matthews station blew up that was funny. Also when we were in the spacecraft Alex had to test me on temp,hearing, and vision. It was also cool that when you were going to go in you had to get in a shuttle and the go to the ship. Also we were running out of oxygen I had to do a lot of things but I saved the day. So that is my favorite memory so far this.

My favorite memory is going to Challenger. One reason why is when we were trying to finish the Probe and then a big explosion at Matt's station happened and we had to switch after that. I like the part when we hit the meter and almost missed it. During Probe I got to help make the Probe that would blast out of space and we would see if it landed on it. J.T. was in charge of the headset but when he was gone getting tested I took over and did a lot. My last reason it was my best memory is because all of us had a lot of fun and we ate in our classroom. COOPER WRZOSEK #21 :V
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is going to challenger. One reason is when I got to use the glovebox and test rocks. Another reason is when smoke exploded in Matts fece and he freaked out. I also liked controlling a robot but everything was backwards so that made it so hard. My favorite part was that it felt so real. I liked eating in the classroom too.

My favorite memory is going to the challenger space station. Challenger is my favorite because I got to see what it would be like to land on a comet. My favorite event or sale was the Boosterthon fun run. This was awesome because we got to run around a track really fast. We also got to dump water on our heads. The challenger was something that stuck out to me because It was awesome.

My favorite memory was making elephant toothpaste. One reason is because it looked really cool. Another reason is because it was a really fun activity. Another reason is because I was surrounded by all of my friends when I did it. Another Reason is because I always wondered what making elephant toothpaste felt like.
