What does out school kindness cheer mean to you?
How will you help to promote kindness at DTES this year?
I will help the kindness at DTES by complimenting people at my school and helping when I can. People are kind to me because I'm kind to them. "Kindness Counts at DTES, yes, Kindeness Counts at DTES,"
Our school kindness cheer means to me that if everyone knows it and starts to use it around the globe then it means that everyone in the universe can be kind to one and other. I will promote kindness by helping out others, being kind, and have a great school behavior!!!!!!! I hope each and everyone of us will do the same. I say thank you to all teachers! DTES have a great school year!
One way how I can be kind to others this year is that I can help people when they get hurt or bullied. The kindness cheer is that it tells me to be nice to people even if you are not friends with them.
I think that the kindness chant is important to me because it means that the teachers care about us so they made a chant. I will promote kindness by when playing sports let others play,pass the ball,and not yell. If you don't show kindness you should because people will show kindness back to you. If there was not any kindness then people would do what ever they want and people would get hurt. I will help Desert Trails by promoting kindness.
I will help promote kindness by, helping out people in need. If I see someone being bullied, I wil stand up to the bully and make sure the victim is far away from the bully as possible. The school kindness cheer means to me that we can go through anything as long as we all have a little bit of kindness. It also means that even the smallest bit of kindness goes a long way. Kindness is a great thing to throw out. I try and put kindness out to everyone.This year I am trying to do even more! To do that it might be hard but I am determined to do it. This year I also think that people should too. The kindness cheer means a lot to me because it is good to remind people to be nice. It all starts NOW!
What it mean's to me is that everyone in the whole school should be kind to one another. I wish some kids would pay more attention on the kindness in our school. One of the most important things in kindness to me is people caring about others and people including others and listening to teachers and adults. Before our school started kindness retreats our school was not in good shape because kids weren't being nice and they weren't including others and they where bullying people. I would like to spread alot of kindness around the school so I can help people who are getting bullied and people who are the bullies. Hannah #5
Our school cheer to me means promoting the common good at any time of the day throughout the school day. I will promote kindness at our school by watching for kindness during lunch, recess, and any other part of the day. Another way to promote kindness at school is to be a leader, not a follower. That to me means stand up to bullies, and if they ignore you, you need to get a teacher or staff involved. Those are only 2 out of the many ways to stop bullying and promote kindness at Desert Trails Elementry School!!
Kidness to me is to be kind and respectful. I hope kindness is throwout the school. I want to help show kindness by help others. Let other play and be include all others. I hope it is cared out throw DTES and throwout other schools around the world.

I feel really good when I give a complement and the next day they return one. I also feel good when I'm behind on work and someone helps me. I will try to do my best not to exclude, and if I do be mean or exclude I will make it up by giving a complement later on in the year.

Go DTES!!!!! Are kindness cheer means we care if somene's being bullied, and we go help them so we have to dowhats right and show kindness every where you go and not just at DTES but, every where you go like at your house forinstence and always be a great person. I will show kindness by chreating others fairly, not saying your sister is crazy even if they might be it's still not nice to say it strait to someone's face, and probubly MOST important throwing kindness out to people whenever.
I totally agree with Gina. Our school should be one of the few schools that is completely bully free. :-o I would give almost anything to go to a school like that. We wouldn’t have to have a bully-box and everyone would be happy.

The kindness cheer means to me that it is really important to be kind.Something as little as a joke about a person can still hurt. I will promote kindness by showing someone new around the school. I will also help someone who dose not understand a problem and explain it.Ithink it i so importent to be kind because if you are kind younger kids will look up to you and they ill be kind.
Uh, yeah! Now, personally, I think the Kindness cheer GETS kind of annoying when SOME PEOPLE repeat it in my face 4 times. Then, it's annoying. But, I like it because it gets into the brains of kids, for a good reason, unlike Mario, which I belive is like a infection. The song stays in your mind and keeps on telling you to throw out kindness. I think that helps people. It's like a little angel thing that follows you around and notifies you when to use kindness. I think I have one, only I think she's at work all day. Never there when ya need it, huh? Now, lets get more peeps into the game and begin a new round!

Hi miss.preston, The kindness cheer helps represents our school for all the kind people and nice things we do! I am so happy that we have a cheer! I will promote kindness at by school sticking up to bullies! I will also end rumars with me and ask the person if the rumar is true!! I hope we can spread kindness through out the whole school!!
