What is it about field day that you really enjoy the most? Is there one event that you like more than others? Do you enjoy being out there will all of your friends and cheering them one? Do you like to see everyone try their best no matter the outcome?
What can you do to make sure that everyone has a great time and feels like they did their best during the day?
I believe that it is a day to show what you can do both during the events and also by cheering all of your classmates on. True sportsmanship doesn't come through competing but by the way that you show respect after the events.
Make sure that your response is at least 7 sentences in length.
I love field day! My favorite event is the 75 yard dash and high jump. I like being able to show my full strength in the 75 because sprinting has always been my favorite event, even at my old school! Being positive about yourself is the key to winning any of the events. As long as you believe you can do it you can! Also I like being in the sun and just hanging out with all of my friends on my favorite day of the year! I like to be able to cheer them on and when they cheer me on! Overall I can't wait until Field Day!

I enjoy field day because i'm able to talk to my friends and being able to run around. I like the relay the most because I love working on it every time we go to P.E. Another reason I like doing the relay is because I like being able to work with everyone and discuss what we need to practice on. I like cheering everyone on and being able to hang out with my friends because being able to cheer everyone on shows great sportsman ship. Another reason why I like to cheer everyone on is because it builds up their confidence and sometimes makes them even better. I like seeing everyone try their best even if their outcome isn't good because field day is about having fun and being able to spend time with friends. Field day isn't supposed to be a competitive day where everyone say,"OO, Dude i'm going to bet you."To make sure everyone has a great time i'm going to cheer them on even if they got a bad outcome and have good sports man ship. I can't wait until field day and have a great attitude! :)

Anyways, the thing I enjoy most about field day is missing school, I don't enjoy field day and I don't enjoy school, but I do like competing with all my friends. I'll admit this field day is really wired. Coach Brown is pretty cool, I have to make a poster for field day as well as a few other people.

I enjoy 600-yard run the most because my school in Japan had an event of 4-K run. Other people often stopped running and just started walking but I kept running. I practiced swimming and soccer too. So I am confident about my lung capacity. I want to cheer everybody up while watching them try their events. I like watching sports,such as baseball,basketball, and soccer, etc. I look forward to the field day, because I will have fun running and watching.

I like the high jump the best. It is my favorite because it is one of the things that I am really good at. I really enjoy being outside with all of my friends. I always want them to do well so I enjoy cheering them on. One of the ways to make sure that everyone is having a good time is not to boast about being first. I also like to tell them they did a good job even if they do not place. I would congratulate my friends and classmates no matter how well they did on an event.

I like the long jump on field day. I like it because I am pretty good at it. I like field day because I can talk with my friends. I also like it because it is kind of a recess. I also like competing. Plus it is fun to watch people compete. I like field day because you can prove how good you are at the sport you are competing in.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till field day... cheering on classmates, classmates cheering me on, and doing the fun events. The event I really want to do is the 600 and the tug of war. I heard the tug of war hasn't been at Desert Trails for years, so thats something to look forward to. I feel confident about the 600 because during recess I've been running a lot and today when I had P.E. Noah P, Ryan, and I raced in the 600 I won. My magic new shoes might help me win the race. On field day, wish my magic shoes and I luck.

I think I will enjoy the tug-o-war the most because it's something new that we are all trying. I like 75 and long jump more than the others becuase I am a sprinter and I ususally go to district for long jump. Yes, I do enjoy cheering all of my friends on because it makes me happy to encourage people that they can do it or even just putting a little smile on someone's face. I love to see everyone try there best no matter what out come to really see people try there hardest. I can say to try your best and encourage them to make sure they have a good time on field day. To anyone who wants to skip field day think... this is your last year of field day you want to make it count right?!?!? So, try your hardest don't look back just keep trying. (and yes I was trying to quote dory ;P)

My favorite part about field day that is the relay. Its my fave because every year I've ALMOST gotten in it but this year I FINALLY got in. My least favorite is the 600 because it is so hard. I love running but I fail at distances. I really like to see people trying different things. So, on field day, I wish everyone good luck!

I actually sadly won't get to compete in field day! :( I suvirly bruised my knee, and I also found out that I permenently damaged my rists! :( Coach Brown felt bad for me, so I get to time the races! I think that will be fun too! But I still will cheer my friends on! I will be proud of my friends, in an place they get!

I don't actually have a favorite competition that I excel at. The 600 has always been hard for me because I never really had a good strategy that wouldn't result in me collapsing after the first lap. Luckily, this time I had a strategy, and I never had to stop and walk. The High Jump I never got to compete in before, so I had no idea what I was doing, and that wasn't very fun. Softball and Football throw I'm not extreme on those competitions either. Long Jump I don't do very well at, either. The 75, I am not a sprinter and I don't like running, so I didn't do very well on the 75. I didn't know up until today that I was the alternate for the Group C Sprint Team, but that's probably because I was the only one (Except Cameron) to volunteer to be on that team. As the alternate, I never got to run, and I'm almost glad that I didn't.

Even though my specials group did not win first place I like seeing people give it their best even if they do not win.Also I like just hanging out with my friends and cheering people on. I really like doing the softball throw(I play baseball) and the football throw because I am pretty good at those things. I like the softball throw because I play baseball and I love it!!!! Also I like the football throw because I play football and I play QB. To show good sportsmanship I think we should shake hands before and after the events.

My favorite part about field day was football kick, but, since they removed that, I like the softball throw. I really like cheering anyone on, not just my friends. My group did alot of that while we were waiting for a event. I really love seeing anyone trying their hardest during something that is hard for them. I'm obviously not that athletic, so I don't think I got 1st in anything, but I tried my hardest because some people were cheering me on. That really helps when your out of breath and you just want to quit. That's why my group (Dee Girls!) cheered on pretty much anyone. I also like Tug-O-War. That was fun even though the guys beat the girls.

I love field day!!!! My favorite part about field day is high jump(FAILED at that),600,and 75 yrd dash. I like high jump because of the soft matress and the end. I also like the 600 because I almost always win. My trick is too sprint in the very begining and get way ahead of the opponent. I like the 75 yrd dash because I am great at short sprinting. I love being out with my friends and cheering all them on. Like Arianna Tug O' War was super fun. Even though Preston class lost. (Guys vs Guys was awesome and a piece of cake)

Field day is an awesome day where you get to do a bunch of fun stuff. My favorite event at field day is the football throw because that's the only one I am really good at. I like having my friends cheer me on, especially during the races. I liked how I got to hang out with some of my friends on field day. It's fun to watch everyone try their hardest because it makes the events really close. You could make people feel good by cheering them. You could also congratulate them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite event in field day is softball throw because the ball is easier to throw. Also it doesn't waste a lot of energy. My group, group D, were like the cheeraleders of the 6th grade. We would cheer for everybody. It was mostly the people how were slowing down in the races. But field day for me didn't turn out so good. But I managed to try to keep a smile on my face. I love watching the people who don't really like to run try thier hardest to keep runing. I think if it wasn't for the support of my group I don't think I would have been able to make the 600 all the way. SO SHOUT OUT TO GROUP D!! THANK YOU FOR CHEERING PEOPLE ON!!!

The best thing about field day was to see people try their best. the event I enjoyed the most was the 600 yd. dash, and the long jump. I also like to cheer people on when I'm not doing something. The only bad part was when I cramped and pulled a few muscles! Even as I type this, I'm still aching all over.

Field day this year was the best yet! My favorite event was the High Jump. I may not have done as well on it as 600 but it was still extremely fun. A good way to make someone feel better after an event is give encouraging words and a high five. The high five may not seem like much but it makes them feel all the more better. I still wish I could have done better during a couple of events but it was a great day and I thought it was great how we all cheered for each other and no one said a mean comment. Overall it was a spectacular experiance.

I think that the best part about field day was either doing the activity or cheering people on. I think cheering people on is one of my favorites because I think that it really gets the peoples adrenaline rushing even though it hurts my throat. Even though I do not really enjoy field day I think I did today, because I think I did pretty good on the activity that I was at. My feet really did start hurting really bad! After I did the 600 my feet and calf's starting REALLY bad but I worked through it! I am also kind of sad that this was our last year ever doing field day. I think that everyone did great in field day!

The best thing about feild day is the 75 dash. It is the 75 dash because it really shows how fast you can run and it will challenges you when you are running.I also like the 600.It shows how far and hard you are willing to push yourself to win.I alo like feild day becasuse friends and famili can see what you do and you will be cheering them on and then they will cheer for them.I like cheering no matter how is doing it.To make them feel good you just congradulate them on the things they did and be nice and not saying mean thinds to them about there scores.

I LOVE Field Day!! I really look forward to it. Every year when it's about a week a way I always start training. Alex and I trained that morning for the 600. I really don't like it but I got 2ND PLACE!!! I was so happy!:D Alex and I promised eachother to work our best and cheer people on! I really think that my group(Group D girls) were the cheer team. We were cheering EVERYBODY on. My favorite event is long jump(ignore the fact that sand gets in your shoe).

My favorite part of field day was without a doubt the 75. I liked it because of how quick and speedy was. Even though I only got 3rd, that didn't mean that I didn't enjoy it. But I did also very much enjoy long jump, I had jump 8.7 ft and even though it's not very far, it was still fun. I ABSOLUTELY HATED FOOTBALL THROUGH! The balls were bad, and it just didn't feel right. So thats my opinion! Do not judge me....

If I went to field day, I would have looked forward to doing the long jump. I like doing the long jump because it's fun competing with your friends to see who can c get the farthest. I wish I could have gone to field day because it would have been fun to compete with my friends and cheer them on. One thing I wasn't looking forward to for field day was the football throw. I hate doing the throw because I'm horrible at it! One thing that you could do to cheer others on is saying they did a great job and you could give them a high-five or something.

Anather thing I like at feld day is long jump. I like long jump becuse it is fun and im good at it and I like to fly. My favorite part about field day is hanging out with my friends and getting to be outside to enjoy the day. My favorite event is the long jump because it's pretty easy and I can do really good at it. I love to cheer people on because I know they'd do the same for me. I like seeing the smile on their faces and it makes them work harder. First things first, I love field day, it lets me run around all day and i get to challenge myself in all the events that we got to do. The thing in field day that I really enjoyed the most was when at the end of the day, my group was the last group to do high jump. As I was doing the high jump, everybody was cheering ,me on, i mean EVERYBODY was cheering ,me on. I like the high jump more than all the rest of the events except the 600. I am one of the best at that race. I did enjoy cheering my friends on and watching them do the best they can on all the events. I would like a lot for people to go out there and try there best even if the did the worst in the whole grade, I would still like to see hem try there best.

The thing about field day that makes it so special is that it pretty much is a giant recess! We run around having lots of fun. My favorite compitishtion is the 600!!! I like it because it is my best one. To make people feel like they did there best you say good job or if there in the compitishtion you start a chant for them. I do not care if people don't think I'm good. I could care less of what they think.

I enjoyed being able to participate in all of the activitys. There are a lot of things on field day so you won't ever get bord. I liked the tug-a-war part the best. This is, what I think it is, is a good way to go out there and show people what you got. I was really exited for field day. I look forward to field day. My favorite part of Field Day was succeeding and watching other succeed on the 600 yd Dash. Why I liked this event the most is because even though it really hurt after, I still pushed myself to finish the 600. Another reason why I liked 600 the most is because I liked watching people pushing themselves and being proud. Even though all the other events were fun and memorable too, I think most of us accomplished 600 yd Dash the most. The 600 is a really tough event to do that lots of people succeeded. That is why I chose 600 yd Dash for the best event in Field Day.

I really enjoyed field day because you are out of school for the day. My favorite part was the tug of war. Mrs toenjes's class was talking smack that they would win easy but we showed them we were boss. I enjoyed that we had field day With tug of war. MY favorite part was when I was about to do the sprint, and everybody was cheering me on. I also really surprised myself with hoe far i jumped in the long jump. The thing that made this years field day really special was how encouraging and nice everyone was to each other. Overall this field day has been really special and i loved it!

I thought field day this year was better than the other years. I think it was because of Coach Brown. She has been an amazing P.E. teacher this year. I think that my favorite and least favorite Haley on the relay sprint team. It was my favorite because I wanted to be on the sprint team really bad but coach brown didn't choose me. It was my least favorite because Haley REALLY wanted to run but pulled something in her leg! I felt so bad! It was really hard watching my best friend cry! Though it ended really good. Everyone was cheering our sprint team on! Especially Haley! I think everyone was very supportive on field day! Coach Brown did an amazing job making field day a great and enjoyable day!
