End the Year Sprinting!!!!
How are you going to end the year sprinting? Make a goal for yourself. Describe what you are going to continue to do or work harder on for the rest of the year. What are some tips for studying or taking a test that you use to help you do your best? Don't forget to write 6-8 quality sentences. Watch capitals, punctuation and spelling!
I really don't understand what the end of the year sprinting means. But I think it means trying your hardest till' the end of the year. So maybe I will, I don't really understand so I can't tell the right answer. I am going to make a goal by raising my ar goal. I wan't to read more and study so I get good grades on my test. I also want to be absent less so I don't have to pay money. My studing tip is to make a copy of the test and try to answer the questions. I also like to go in a quiet room so I sometimes go in my closet.

My goal is to get all A's because getting honor roll is great but if I got principals list that means I worked extremely harder. I am going to continue to do my very best and try to work harder on things that I might struggle in. My tip for studying is always take your time and sometimes when I think that I've got what I need to know I have someone quiz me on it. Also, say if the test is in a week, don't wait to the last minute to study and then think that your going to nail it because the people that do study actually want to pass the test. When taking a test always try your best and if you struggle on something either come back to it or take your best guess. Always go with your first instinct because if your first instinct is correct than you tried your hardest to get the best answer. If you take your second instinct and your first one was correct, don't you get frustrated? You also want to always show your work or even if you don't know how to put what you think is correct.

My goal is to get principals list. I haven't gotten one this year and I want to get one. I am going to continue to meet this goal. I am going to study a lot more for tests. I also want to pass my ar goal because last quarter I didn't pass it. I am going to start reading a lot more. I think when taking a test try your best and if you really don't know how to do the problem or if you don't know just take your best guess. Also always trust your first instinct because it's usually correct.

My goal is to finish off the school year with another great AR goal. I always pass, but you never know. Also, there are a lot of tests coming up. So I am going to work extra hard! I want to end the year with the best grades of the year! So that whenever I get to Explorer, the teachers would know that I try really hard to get good grades!

My goal is to reach my a.r. goal again. Why I chose that is because I want to try to get it done early. Also I want to try to try to do my best in aims. I'm going to study and work as hard as I can for more upcoming tests aswell. Grades are extremly important and by trying to work hard for tests I will get good grades. Also to get good grades I have to make my a.r. goal. All of my goals are like combined into one. So I will have to work extra hard to complete my goals.

My goal is to take my time in AIMS and the best that I can! I would like to do way better in AIMS this year then I did last year! I also want to get good grades on upcoming tests. I will study my hardest and take my time! Taking my time is a big issue for me! I just answer the problems quickly! For the rest of the year I am going to try much harder and in Middle School I will try much harder!

That would also mean I could get into a really good college. I also want to make my AR goal. I could read much more to achieve this goal. You achieve your goals by working hard!
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to get straight A's and Principal's List. I would also like to get above average on AIMS. I made a deal with my dad that if I get A's he would get me anything (within reason). Plus, getting A's would help you get a a scholarship. I will most likely study more for tests because I suck at vocabulary words (I thought volcano was one), so I'm not going to wing it. My tip for studying is to do it in the morning (not because I'm a procrastinator), but because your brain is all fresh and you can remember things better.

My goal is to get Principal's List. I would like this because I have gotten Honor for a semester period. I will achieve this goal by working really hard. Also I will be more care full and not rush on my work. This year grades are really important because they help place you in Middle School. My 2 goal is to expand my reading selection because I do not read a lot of nonfiction of any sorts.Even though I read more than I think. I will accomplish this goal by reading more nonfiction texts. I can achieve this goals if I work hard.

My goal is to get principal's list again. I would love to also do well on AIMS. Some tips for studying are to not think of it as studying. Try to make it into a game. It helps me a lot. Or make flash cards! I like to make them in color becuase I am a visual. There are many of other ways but these help me the most.

My goal is to get straight A's. I want to do that because all my life I have gotten a,b, or c's. this has been a goal all my life. I have gotten close but not there. Some tips for tests are double check. Also if it is reading read the passage after the question. Writing if you can't spell a word don't leave it fix it.

My goal is to try and keep going forward with everything. Look on the bright side of things and to stay positive. Even if it's really tough... this is cheesy but, "What doesn't kill you makes you Stronger!!" I learned this tip about taking a test. If you go through and do the questions you know first then they might be able to help you out with the harder ones. It also saves time. If you do 3 easy ones then get stuck for 5 minutes on a hard one then you might not be able to finish in time.

Final goal is to take care of my self, eating and sleeping well. Because we go to catalina I want to keep myself healthy.

My goal is to get Honor roll all year long. I have already gotten it for 3 quarters, so I only have one more to get! I will achieve this goal by working really hard. My tip for taking a test is to do a "BRAIN DUMP". That is when you write down everything you think that you might need to know. Another tip is to slow down and take your time. I really hope I make my goal!

So far my goal is to stop having to come in to finish something at lunch. Over the years, I've always had to come in for lunch a lot. So far, I rarely come in for lunch, which is obviously a good thing. I know I won't be able to come in for lunch in middle school

My goal for the end of the year would be to get principal's list for the last quarter. I have been trying to get this goal since last quarter, but I got honor roll. Honor roll is great also, but I would like to do better. I think studying harder will really help me. Also I think staying more focused will also get me to principal's list. I think that I would enjoy this and so will my family. If I do good and think positive, than I could get to principal's list. I would really be happy if I reached that goal by the and of the school year.

My goal for the end of the year would be to get principal's list. If I got principal's list, the would mean I have achieved my goal and it means I worked extra hard. Getting honor roll is great, but I would like to do even better. Some tips for studying for a test is to study hard and make something up that helps you memorize the questions. Also, don't wait until the last minute to study or else you might get a bad grade. One last tip is ask someone to help you study for the test. That's what usually helps me get a good grade on tests.

My goal for the end of this amazing year is to get all A's, pass the last stems test, and make sure that I turn in all homework assignments on time because I want next year in middle school to be awesome like this year! If I got all A's, I would be so happy and wold also make my dad proud! I also want to get a great score on the stems test because I think it would be cool and would make my mom proud. Also, it would help for next year. We would know all the stems and be the smartest kids ever! I would also want to work on turning in all homework assignments on time and try not to be absent. If I can try not to be absent more than i wont have to make up a lot of work like now. I also know that there will probably be more homework so if I'm not absent all the time or dont turn in homework on time that would be a pain. I can't wait for middle school but I am also very sad that I have to leave this awesome class and teacher! Don't count on me not crying on the last day of school!!!

My goal is to end off the year by making my AR goal. I say this because I have not yet made it this year. Well I never really tried hard to get AR points. Another reason is because I have made it every year in the past at least once but this year I have to end it off with a BANG!!! That is my goal for the end of 6th grade.
ReplyDeleteMy goal for the rest of the year is to really show what I am made of! Whether it be doubling my AR goal, or doing amazing on AIMS, I am trying my hardest this quarter. I have started reading a lot more at home and school, listening better, and still just do what I do best which is be bright and fun. I have also changed my thoughts on what is important and what is not. What is important is to stay focused and not "Daze off" or try to make the loudest statement I can make. So my goal is to improve my complete self which includes my overall school work, my visions, and my attitude.

My goal for the rest of the year is to get all A's. I plan to read as many books as possible. To help me do my best, I will also eat right and get a good night's sleep. When I know that I have a test, I will study each night beforehand. I will have my mother or grandmother test me each night to see how far along I have come. I am also trying to improve my listening skills.

My goal is to get honor roll this quarter. It's not very hard at all, just A's and B's. I'm good on subjects but AR is my only flaw. Everything else I'm ok on though. I've been doing good math mostly, that's my srltrongsuit. I need to read more and finish my AR goal.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to get A's and B's. I will continuing practicing for my tests and complete them with a score so positive that it will be out of the universe. I want to get a good score on all my tests, but some of them can be frustrating. I have a positive attitude, that's mostly why i do good in school. I like that I never give up too. That's why there will never be a F on my papers. In my brain there is one side saying, give up, the other side says, Don't give up. Which one do I choose, the one that tells me not to give up. That's the positive side of me. Don't ever think you can't do it, because you can. Have a positive attitude, that's going to get you far.

gave us a lecture on how to take a test. I do the questions I know first and save the hard ones for later.

I will try to beat my time. I am a distance runner. I will try to beat my all time best, to see how far I can run without stopping. Like next year in middle school, you have to run the track. That is if oyu put P.E. as one of your electives. I will also try to become a sprinter. I've ALWAYS tried to be a sprinter, but its just not one of my strengths.

My goal is to get Principal's List for the first time this year. I haven't gotten straight A's this year at all, and I don't know why. I only got an Honor Roll once before sixth grade. This time, however, I only got Honor Roll twice and nothing once this year. I don't want Honor Roll. It would be reassuring to get Principal's List in fourth quarter.

My goal this year is to get principals list. I hope I can manage it because I'm not very good at math. I am happy AIMS is almost over because then I don't have to worry to much about making sure I do perfectly. A good tip for doing great on tests is have a positive attitude. Another one is to think of the answer in your head and then look at your choices. Lastly, DON'T OVER STUDY! That is what i am doing to keep my grades up and to sprint to the end of the year.

My goal is just to do the best that I can. I don't care if I get Principals List or Honor Roll, there not for showing off, people show off to me that they got Principals List, that makes me feel bad. I want to get great grades on everything, but I don't do great sometimes,if you don't do good every once in a while, that means there's a subject you can work on in you'r free time. That goes for me too. Sometimes I get in a really bad mood if I don't I don't do good, that may happen to you to also. I also agree with Jose his last 5 sentences in his blog. There's always a side that tells you, "Give up already", and there's another side that tells you, "Don't Give up, you can do this!!" I get this all the time, what about you???

My goal is to get honor rule. I think it would be really cool to get some things for on the end of the year. I want to get way past my AR goal. I think I will pay more attention in the classroom two. Then read faster and get reading down I think this will be some good things to remember. This will be one of the things that will be good. I will be good for middle school.It will be so good for me.

My goal to end this year sprinting is hard but doable. This year I want to make 3 million words. I know I'll need some hard work to make this goal but I'm up to it. Some tips I have to taking tests is never second guess yourself. It'll get you down if you get it wrong because you changed your answer. Your first instinct is usually right anyways.

Last year I got principles list all year so I feel if I try a little harder I am capable of doing it. I also would like to do good on AIMS. Right now I am sick so I will also have to catch up on AIMS. I also would like to get less nervous when I am taking tests. I have improved a lot on that this year but I think I could still use some work. Overall I think I will do great these last weeks of school.
