To be a leader you need to act like a leader and have a good attitude. To accomplish being a leader. If you believe leaders are born not made. It's kind of fun to do the impossible~Walt Disney. I love this quote because to me it means you can do great things. It Also is trying to get you to step out of your comfort zone. Like how Walt Disney did what everyone thought was impossible, made movies in color instead of black and white. Things start to get fun when you try to do the impossible. I've learned that, but we all do at are own pace. Now doing the impossible is not like getting an A+ on a paper. It's like making the first airplane, first car, or becoming a president of the U.S.A. When you achieve something it makes you feel great about yourself. This quote makes me feel like I can do anything.

Your never to old to do something such as achieving your goal or making your dream actually happen. If you set yourself to a goal your guaranteed to make it happen. It may seem crazy but even old people wish to be just like us,kids, to be athletic and go back to school because they miss going to school and being a kid. Even though they can't be a child again, they probably set their goal on being athletic again or going back to school to get an education. Your never to young to achieve your goal. Maybe your goal is to get honor roll this year, if that is your goal you have to work your hardest and never give up. You should always set a goal for yourself and try to achieve it.

You only need a best friend who would stand in front of a train for you. A friend who won't put salt in your wound, but heal it. A best friend is one that will help you in times of need, cherish every moment that they have with you, and give you strength to keep going even when times are hard. I like it because there are a lot of people today that are mean and tell you stuff like they don't like that, just don't care. Don't ever let yourself down because people don't like something. that's there fault. I have a lot of people that don't like what I ware, so what, I like myself for myself. If you don't like something that someone is waring of some sort, don't say anything. Keep It To Your Self. Why would you care why they dress like that or something, doesn't harm you.

This quote is meaningful to me because instead of looking to the past, or even the present, then you theoretically have their back turned to the future, causing it to come upon you in surprise, meaning you weren't prepared for it. You can't change by focusing on the past or the present. You have to try and incorporate the future consequences into your present decisions. If you don't incorporate the future into your choices, your words, or your actions, the outcome could be catastrophic. You could even lose a girlfriend, or even be invaded by the Soviets. (Meaning John F. Kennedy's choices during term in office) That's the quote I chose, and why it's important.

You shouldn't give up if you didn't accomplish a goal. Just because someone says you aren't going to make it or you can't live your dream, doesn't mean to stop trying. A lot of people say "Oh, I'm not afraid!" but very few people actually say, "I'm afraid..."
So many times when you are asked to do something, but you're scared, you'll just end up saying, "Oh, I can do that!" But then farther on in life you'll probably be asked to do it and you'll have to say no.

ReplyDeleteI agree with with vince because you can't be a newborn and have the leadership to lead a army or country. It comes in your personality. I think I am a great leader. Not good enough to lead a country but small things. Like organizing a kickball game. Not all people are leaders but there are just enough to lead every one. Like Jacob said, Even princes or princesses are not born they are taught by there parents. The King/Queen. But leaders do not have to be taught it's just apart of them.

This retains to me because I make a lot of mistakes. At school, sports and even at home. When you mess up just drop it and try again. TRY, TRY, TRY, TRY , and TRY some more.

ReplyDeleteThis is my quote because attitude helps at goals. If you sit and think you can't make it, you need to believe. This quote helps me with my goal of getting straight A's. I have to have a good attitude to make it all the way. This year I will make my attitude better. That is why I choose this quote.
I like the quote, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". This is known as the "Golden Rule". This quote is sort of like the one that you said you thought was a good one. What the quote that I have chosen is saying is that you should treat others as you would like to be treated. This applies to everyone...no matter what your age is, no matter what your job is, and no matter who you are. If you you want to be treated with kindness and with respect, you must also treat others with kindness and respect. If you do not do this, then how can you expect others to treat you with respect or kindness. I think the "Golden Rule" is one that we should all try to live by.

I think this quote really means a lot to me. The quote means to enjoy life while you have it because you never know when it will get taken away. I think this quote is very special,and important. I think everyone should live by this quote and "live like your dying" because everyone should enjoy life while they have it. For example like the 8 year old boy got killed by the bombing, which was very tragic. Also how people die from committing suicide to themselfs. I just believe that this is a really meaningful quote.

I think this quote means a lot to me because it helps me in life. It made me relize that you aren't really afraid of anything, you just trick youself into being scared. It helps me A LOT in gymnastics. I am not afraid to do the susoine, I am afraid of splitting the beam, then hitting my chest then pass out on the floor. I am not afraid of doing the round-off backhand spring layout, I am afraid to fall on my neck and be paralized! This is why this quote means a lot to me!

"How the player plays the game shows some of his character, how a player loses shows all of it," is a quote that means very much to me. When I was younger I could never find a sport that suited me. I was also probably the biggest sore loser on the planet. I just hated myself if I couldn't get something right away and usually ended up quiting. I usually recently found soccer as my sport and I'm sticking with it. I still have trouble with this even now, but I just remember the saying and calm down.

I learned my favorite quote from one of my favorite video games and this is the quote: "Our life is made by the death of others." ~Leonardo Da Vinci. This quote means that our daily lives are built on the accomplishments of those who came before us. When I first read this quote on my t.v screen, I thought it was really interesting. I thought it meant that when people who are close to us die, it changes our lives, so when I found out what Da Vinci really meant I thought It was pretty cool. I also realized why they put that quote in my video game. It is because the main character in the game has to do all these crazy things because of his ancestors. I thought Davinci's quote was so unique that I will look up more of his famous quotes.

I like this quote because it shows the true meaning of friendship. How you might ask well if a friend is evil he or she is not really a good friend at all. It also shows me that you can't let them hurt you bot a beast or an evil being. Last it shows me that what you feel on the inside is more important than what you feel on the outside you can not be afraid to show your expressions.

ReplyDeleteThis quote means a lot to me. It does because, not only is it said by one of the most famous, AMAZING musicians who ever lived, but it really tells the importance of music. Music has always been a humongous part of my life ever since I was a baby. My mom actually has a picture of me when i was like one with my headphones in listening to my favorite song, Angel by Shaggy. He was some kind of Jazz or Reggae kind of musician but the minute after i was born that song came on the radio so my mom calls me her angel. Also, Music got me through a lot of tough times like when my dad died and when i was being bullied. Music just kid of took me away from the world. That is why I love and live by this quote.

ReplyDeleteI really like this quote because it means that no matter what happens, the world keeps spinning. Everything bad will pass eventually. You just have to stay strong and keep your head up. I've had bad moments in my life, it seems that I could never get out of it, but I did. Just think about it: while you here might have a problem with your life there are about 7 million other people that have problems, too. But, life goes on. You have to move on. Do other things. The world doesn't just stop because you have a problem, although to you it might seem like it, but life goes on, no matter what.
