If you could go back in time, as yourself, to live for one year at any point in history, what year would you choose, and where would you go?
Why would you choose that year in history?
What do you think that you would see and who would you meet?
What would make it such an interesting place to be?
Think about it, it could be a year in the past, 5 years, 10 years or even more? Be creative about where you would go.
I would want to go to the jurassic period.I want to go to that time period because I could have a pet dinosaur.If I had a pet dinosaur it would be a pteranodon.I could fly anywhere I wanted to.But that means NO technology.But still these are the reasons I want to go to that time period. micah
ReplyDeleteI would go back to when Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity. The reason why I would go to that year is because we are studying about American History and Benjamin Franklin might come up. I could tell him how he discovers electricity. If I go back to that year I could meet Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Adams and many more. What makes it interesting is it is when our country was being made. I would want to avoid the revolutionary war. It would be hard not to have any of my electronics. Speech would be hard because some words I use now were not known then. I think this is an interesting time. #11
ReplyDeleteIf I could go back into the past I would go 184 million years into the past .I would do this so I could meet a tyrannosaurus rex, compsognathus, and a diplodocus. I could also see fascinating plant matter too! I think it would be fun to meet dinosaurs. I know that if I really went into the past I could get eaten by a dinosaur but what ever. So these are the reasons why I would like to go into the past.

If I could time travel I would choose to go back to 1969. That is the year that both of my parents were born in. I would tell both of their parents that I was their future granddaughter. I would also be able to experience the miracle of life. It would be cool to see what my parents looked like when they were little in person. I would love to go back to 1969.

If I could go back in time, I would go to when I was a four year old to see if I can remember what I did when I was little. I would get to remember what I did because I'm not very good at remembering things a long time ago. I could video-tape some of the funny things that I did. I could also try to tell my five year-old self what and what not to do so I wouldn't do something bad or I could do something good or funny for my younger parents. I just hope that I would be invisible to everyone, but still be able to make noises. I think that it would be very cool to go back into the future as long as I can come back and I wouldn't change except for the knowledge that I gained and I would hope that no time would pass in the present when I went into the past, that would be bad.

I would go back to the Revolutionary War time. I would go back to this time because I am very interested about that stuff. I would go to 1775 and not attend, but peek inside the window at the second Continental Congress. I would see George Washington, John Adams, John Hancock, and many more famous people. I would vote, if I could, probably not, for independence. I would again peek in the window to see the signing of the Declaration. I would also be interested on how people lived and went through life back then. The last thing I would do, I've been wanting to do this FOREVER, is write with a quill and ink. I know it would be hard, but worth it.

If I had to choose, and I know it is crazy but I want to live in the 1760`s. When the British taxes were going on. I do not know why but it seems interesting to me about all the things that went on in that time period. Another reason I want to live there is because, it is only for a year. How bad could it be. I could become a daughter of liberty and be a part of history. That would be really really awesome. Then I could come back when my year is up and I would get to tell my side of the story. Cause know one will tell me if he was. I don't know if he was chubby but I think he was. And I also want to go back that far is cause I want to see if they had great wifi. I would want to go back to times when there were castles and stuff like that. Then I would go to England because I think it would be really cool. I would go and invent a lot of stuff like the theory of gravity and then I would sound really smart and wise and then become the queen or something. I would then tell people to stop polluting stuff and tell them how to make stuff green. Then they would not pollute the world. So that is what I would do.

I think the stamp act played a big part about this war because it made colinests fereus . It made them mad by having to pay extra money for a lot of paper products like playing cards,legal documents, news paper and more! The patriots were also mad because they didn't agree to it!they couldn't stand the British but they had to live with it for 12 years!! Some people protested about it and they were called the sons of liberty but that's a different story! And that's my opinion on this article.

If I could go to the past, I would go to the 50's. I like the 50's because it had a really cute poodle skirt, that I love so much. Who knows, I might even come back with a poodle, and a bunch of the poodle skirts. And if I bring about $50 $90 I could buy a bunch of stuff. And see a bunch of stuff. It also seems strange to me and I like strange. With all their brick phones and there board games. That's we're id go if I could travel.

If I could go back in time however many months or years that I wanted I would go back 10 years. Ten years ago I was only one year old and I don't remember much of my life as a baby. I would like to see what it would be like to have no one understand you ever because they can't comprehend your words and sentences. Also I would like to learn how I taught myself, or was taught, how to walk. I imagine it would be pretty hard for someone to stand up or walk when you don't know how, though now it comes very easy to me. Another thing I could see is how I learned to speak. How I was able to form words and pronounce them correctly as a baby. Considering how hard I remember it to be and how irritated I got when my dad corrected me it must have been pretty perplexing for me. So overall, if I had the ability to go back in time however many months, days or years that I wanted I would go back 10 years to when I was just 1 year old.

If I could go back in time I would go back to the 70s. I would get an afro to blend in. Then I would get 70s weird clothes. I would also go to the disco and count how many people have afros. I would also go see my dad wearing 70s clothes he told me he had to wear. That is why I would go back to the 70s.

I would go back to the 60's. I would go back to the 60's because there were weird styles that I would want to wear. I would met different people. I would go back to 9/11/01. I would do that so I could save all the lives that were about to be lost. I would probably be on the news for saving the people. I would feel really good about myself for doing it too. I would be in a history book and when I'm older some kids would read about me. I would really like saving lives from someone who tries to kill people.

If I went back in time, I would want to go back 33 years from now. I would because then my grandfather would be alive. I never met him, obviously. I love my grandmother so they must have been a couple. He was in a war and he probably would have lots to tell me. I'm sure he was funny, because my mom is funny. ReplyDeleteIf I had to go back in the past I would go to 1988. I would go to 1988 because my mother was 5 and she always use to dress up in her mother's clothes. Also, my grandmother was alive so I would go see how her personality was. My two Aunts were also alive soI would have seen how they acted. They lived in New Jersey so I would definetly want to see how they acted. My grandfather was probrably a lot happier when my grandmother was alive.

I would go 30 years into the future. But, after a while I would like to go back to the present day.That way, when I come back to the present, if anything bad happens in the future, I can stop it before it even starts. It would make the future a better place to look forward to seeing. It could stop wars. Or species from becoming extinct

If I got to go back in the past I would probably go 1900's at least if not a little earlier! I would go to 1900's because I would get to meet my dad's dad papa Howard! I would want to meet him because everybody who I hear talk about him says how I would like him and how he was a funny man, always cracking a joke or laughing at one! I would love to see what he did everyday and just how my dad Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Gregg, Grandma Bobbie, and Papa Howard lived! My papa died from smoking at only 59 years old so he was really young! He did not want to die in a hospital so they got a hospital bed brought it into their living room right in front of the T.V. so he could watch there. They also got a part time home nurse! Once a long time ago when my sister was really young she was spinning really fast in our old playroom and she said she saw him waving and when she did she fell down and screamed so my dad came running up and asked whats wrong and she told him I saw papa! Both of my sisters met my papa but they were also very young. They were only about 3 and 4! This is why if I had to go into the past I would go to the1900's!! #8

Whenever my family goes to Utah my mom and dad show us were they met.♥. They never told all of the details but that is one of the many things that I want to know. I have always wonderd what it was like. I would love to ho back in time to this time,the day my parents met.

If I could go to the past I will go to the every mistacek I made. I would do that because I have a lot of mistacek. Other then that I would go to the time that ben crate the electricity because I don't know how he did it. I wold go to a lot of places and do a lot of things. I can teach my self to do stuff. I would go in the future because I would want to see if I have a mansion when I'm older and will have dogs or be married. In the future I would see if I am really smart or really stupid. I would see what job I will have. How much money I have. Maybe even see if I'm living with Nakya and Harmony. (I hope so!) anyway, the future would be really cool because I could see if time machines would be made and travel all the way till I'm an old lady/ grandma. It would be really cool. :)

I would go back to like 134 because thats when the pyramids were made. I would like to back in that time because I could work on the pyramids and how they were formed. Or I could see whats inside one and all the secret passage and hide all the stuff. And why did they make the pyramids and how did they think of the shape to make it. And I could meet all the queens and kings. Thats where and why I wanted to go back to 134.

I also would want to see what my mimi looked like back then. I even want to see how cheap things were back then and how expensive they are now. ReplyDeleteI really would like to go to 1986 because that was when the first My Little Pony of the second generation was made. They had a small festival and all the characters were there. I would meet the creator and of course all the characters. The second generation had fat and pig looking ponies so I would be a little scared too. I wish it was a generation 4 pony fest because I would enjoy it way more. MLP RULES!

I would go to the day that Babe Ruth hit his called shot. I would want to go to that day because everyone at that game has died and we still don't know the great legend. If I were to see that it would be amazing and then I could go back to my mom and dad and tell them all about it and I would really know if he called his shot or not. That would be a historic day in baseball history. #1

I would like everyone to be happy. But I would ask Marry for all of Jesus's gold. I would also meet other people that I don't know. So this is why I would go to this year back in time.

I would go back to 2003 because I get to see when I was born. Also I could see my old dog that always be my friend that watches over me. I could see how my parents meet. I could also spend time with my brothers when I got a little older. I could meet my fathers dad because he died when I was born and my dad stills knows my dad. That's why i want to go back that year. #27
