What is it about field day that you really enjoy the most? Is there one event that you like more than others? Do you enjoy being out there will all of your friends and cheering them one? Do you like to see everyone try their best no matter the outcome?
What can you do to make sure that everyone has a great time and feels like they did their best during the day?
I believe that it is a day to show what you can do both during the events and also by cheering all of your classmates on. True sportsmanship doesn't come through competing but by the way that you show respect after the events.
The activity I like the most is the 75 yard dash because I am okay at it. I like sprinting for short distances instead of the longer walks or runs. I like watching the good athletes in our class compete in lots of the other events. I hope it's not too hot out this week when we have Field Day! It is fun to see everyone's abilities. Some people are fast, others are slow... some people are very strong and can jump high. I feel about average. I do not like the tug-of-war because the rope always splinters off into my hands. Other than that, Field Day is fun!

The event I like the most is the relay races. I like to be able to cheer our class on. Last year when I was in Ms.Tooker's class, the girls in our class won. For the boys, Ms.Avon's class won. The events that I really don't like are the running events. I am slow at running and just don't really like to do them period.

My favorite event is the relay race because I only have to do 1/4 of the work. It is fun being with all my friends. The high jump is fun to watch. I am glad I don't have to do the 600 meter because it too hard. I don't like running because it tires me out. My favorite part of field day is when it is over. When it is over I try to tell everyone good job. Only one more year of field day. #11
ReplyDeleteI am not going to lie, I am definetely not a fan of field day. My favorite event in it is the soft-ball through. My reason for that is because, its the only one that I am actually good at. But I have never gotten anywhere close to getting 1st place. And one way I cheer my friends on is by screaming their names so that they can hear me and telling them that they did great also. thos eare my answers and my reasons why I would choose that.

What I like best about Field Day is running and jumping they are so much fun. I have a orthodontics appointment that day but I will still be there for Field Day. I am excited for running cause it is so much fun running around and racing. Also cause it keeps me healthy all day when I run. I also chose jumping cause I am a really good jumper and I think that it is so much fun. I love to run as much as I love jumping. I am excited for both running and jumping.

I'm not as excited as Summer is about field day because it wastes my energy. But I love the part where we have snacks and watch people do high jump. I can make my friends love field day by cheering them on. I can also congratulate them or enjoy seeing them play and tell the how well they did. Field Day in my opinion is a way to stay healthy. And it can also help you cut down on the weight if you have too much.

I enjoy the competition at field day and the fruit that is there for us. I like the 75 yard dash more than the other events. I enjoy being out there with my friends and cheering them on. I like it when everyone tries their best.I can make sure everyone has a great time by cheering them on. Field day is my favorite thing we do at school.

I like the 75 yard dash a lot. I am really good at lead offs and I am very fast. I like being with my friends so I know they are there to cheer me on. I don't care if my friends don't do so great as long as they try hard. I like cheering them on also. I like the food also because it is hot outside. So this is why I love field day.

I don't like field day that much. If I had to I would choose tug a war because it is a lot of fun. I think that tug a war is fun because I like tugging on stuff. I also like it when the girls win. That is what I like about field day.

This is new for me,so I think I would have to go with relay race.I would choose that because I like to run and get my adrenaline going...ADRENALINE RUSH...At my old school field day was with water slides.pools...every wet thing you can think of. This is why I think im going to like field day. micah 21
ReplyDeleteFor Field Day I think my favorite activity would be long jump because you don't have to do that much. I mean all you gotta do is jump far and try to beat your old record. But to be honest I'm just in it for the fun, definitely not the exercise. HHHMMMPH!!!!! PIECE OF CAKE! However there is another activity called soft ball throw which isn't that bad either all you gotta do for that activity is throw a ball. How hard can that be? But in all, I really don't like this whole idea of a day of exercise I mean seriously we didn't do it at my old school so why do it now? But if that's the rules then that's the rules. #13 Nate

700 is the secend hardest sport on feild day.

I really am excited about Field Day. You get to cheer on your friends. Some people like Sydney who make District REALLY REALLY like Field Day. I am not going to try to get into really District because I am really slow. My favorite sport is when you have to throw the ball and get a super great score. Maybe I am not as excited as so people but Field Day is cool. When tomorrow hits I am up I am EARLY and I will be ready. Have a nice day!

My favorite thing is the running. I think it is the best is 75 yard dash because you race. It's not so hard but you half to run as fast as you can. I hope I could make to the final event. I hope I do good and i'm really excited. Field day is the BEST day ever. And the best part is you get nervous and you do what you think you could never do but you do it.

I personally love field day! I love how you get a break from working so, so, much and you just get to hangout and do all of the events! I love the 75 yr. dash and relay because I am kind of fast and I made it into relay! My foot has a problem though where it hurts when I run so that's not to good! I like how really everyone cheers friends and classmates on and gets to help out! I think it is nice how parents get to help out as well! It's very nice how you get free fruit after a while doing the events! It is nice to see how fast you go or how much your friends don't try. I also like high jump but I am not to, to, good and I cannot wait to get better! I love field day and can't wait to participate tomorrow!! #8
ReplyDeleteI love Field Day. I may not be very fast or a high jumper, but I do love to cheer on my friends. I also really like it when my friends get it into District. I feel good for them. My favorite sport is the high jump. Again, I'm not the best, but I give it (as Mr. Huge would say) 110%. I usually get past the first round, but the second I'm always stuck at. I hope I do better than I normally do. I like to see my friends jumping really high and I congratulate them when they do. I do really love Field Day and think that it is very fun and exciting.

I love field day because I could do activities. I like softball throw because I like it more than the author activities. Also I get to cheer for my friends and other kids. Also I get to see how far I get. I could see what place I'm in. that's what activities I like and that's why I LOVE field day.

I like field day It's a fun day and we can do lot's of activities. My favorite part of field day is high jump because I like to jump. I like high jump and not how far you jump because I can jump high but not far. I really don't know why I do high but not far. I like the runing too, last year I don't even know what are we doing! I can't wait for it!

I love field day! It is a time to get out of school and play around and get excercise with your friends. My favorite activity in field day is the softball throw. Yesterday when I helped out for sixth grade I beat every single girl. I made it to district last year and I really hope I make it again. I can not wait for field day but I am a little nervous.

My favorite event is the 600 meters. I like it because It's the only thing I can win at. I am a good long distance runner. But, I stink at sprints. Everyone is faster than me. I'm so excited for field day!

I really don't like field day. I was never the sporty kind of person. Being outside for an hour is not that fun. But if I had to choose my favorite part about field day it would be the tug of war. The girls always win against the boys. My least favorite part of field day is 600 meter run. I come in last or second to last in that race. That is what I think of field day.

I am very exited for feild day. I love love love field day its my favorite type of day during school. I love it so much I look foward to on the first day of school. My favorite event in field day is the soft ball toss because I'm reall good at it and I play baseball so thats the closest thing to baseball during school. ReplyDeleteField Day for me is a very enjoyable event. I really like participating in the long jump and 75 yard-dash. It is so much fun to watch people try their best at everything. Cheering people on is a really nice thing to do and I noticed that it helps them have more confidence. This is such a fun event to be in even if you don't make it to District. Having a good time is the most important thing. So overall I really enjoy participating in Field Day and always have so much fun when taking part in it.

My favorite field day event is the high jump. Then the 600, then the soft ball throw, and finally, the 75 yard dash. I'm really fast so I like the 75 yard dash. I am also a very good distance runner, so I like the 600. I love the high jump because I have always been in the top two. It's always me and Noah(two of the shortest kids in our group), and it;s either me or him winning the high jump. I hope I make it to district again, I made it last year so I think I can make it again.
