Whisper or Shout????

Would you rather only be able to whisper or only be able to shout?

This would be all the time and not just when you are at one place.

Make sure your response is at least 6 sentences in length and that your sentences are 5th grade quality work.

  1. I would choose to whisper all the time instead of shouting. If I shouted all the time, I would not be able to keep a secret. People would have to pay close attention to what I said if I only whispered. If I only whispered people might not realize I am talking and might miss what I say. If I got called on in class and could only whisper it would be hard for the teacher to hear me. If I only shouted, I could not go to places like the library or the movies where you need to be quiet. I think it would be better to whisper than shout. #11

  2. I would chose whispering instead of shouting. Cause shouting will make my voice hurt a lot. And whispering makes things a lot easier instead of shouting and yelling. I could answer questions without yelling or shouting. I couldn't go to a lot of places cause a lot of things need me to be quite. I couldn't even tell a secret or read in groups of 2 or 3. I would chose whispering instead of shouting.

  3. I think it would be better to whisper than shout. This is because when you shout you can't go to the library or movies. If I shout people may think I'm mad all the time. Which I'm not. Plus, I really like to go to the library to check out books. In the movies if you're shouting you can't be in the movies and would get kicked out. If you shout while someone is talking, it's rude even if you can't help it. This is why I would rather whisper.

  4. If I were to shout or whisper? I would really want to shout. The reason being is if I were in a place that is really long I would shout for there name. If I were to whisper I would not be able to do that and get them. And what f I was at a speech I would not need a microphone I would just shout. If I was going to choose I would need a microphone and they still wont hear me. There are millions of reasons why should you whisper. And why should you shout. Its just in a opinion.

  5. Shout or whisper??I would rather whisper. One I can keep a secret. Two I could use a portable speaker and microphone.Three I don't have to worry about being to loud.It just seems way better. Also I could talk in the hallways and they won't yell at me about it.I could get away with saying anything about stuff. But one thing that's bad about it I couldn't play basketball because my natural position is point guard and you have to call play and call for the ball. That's the only bad thing though but every thing else is good.

  6. I would rather whisper. It would be annoying if i were yelling all the time. Or maybe I would rather shout? It would be very loud. It would be hard to sneak up on people. I am not sure.

  7. I would rather shout because if you needed to whisper all the time nobody could hear you. I like shouting because it is a lot of fun. Also if you wanted to say happy birthday and let everybody know then you could like shout. If you wanted to tell a secret you could not unless you were like alone. So that would be a down side. But people would always tell you to quiet down. That is why I would rather SHOUT!!!!!

  8. I would rather only be able to shout. If I whispered then it would be hard for people to hear me. The teacher wouldn't be able to hear me if they ask a question. Plus, I do talk pretty loud so it wouldn't be much of a difference. Everyone might get annoyed at me but I don't care. I would much rather shout.

  9. I would want to whisper because I could keep secrets.I could also not get in trouble in class for talking. Also my brother wouldn't always be a loud mouth. If you always shouted it would be like...I HAVE A SECRET,I HAVE NO MONEY!.And in writing there would be no period, there would only be ? and !.The only down side is in basketball I have yell to get my teammates to pass the ball, they never pass the ball. This is why I would rather be able to whisper. 10. I would rather shout. I would be able to be heard if I shouted. If I only whispered then I couldn't tell someone something. Or get someone's attention. If it was a birthday party, you wouldn't want to whisper "happy birthday. Or if you ask someone to pass the ball in a soccer game or say," Cut, Cut, Cut! to the outfielder to tell him to throw it to you. You would not be able to do a lot of things if you only whispered. That was a hard decision.

  11. I would rather whisper. If I shout then you could lose your voice then you would not be talking. Also that you wont get in trouble. When we have library we could whisper to each other something. It would be good for the teachers. So that it would be better for the duty aid not to speak over us. That's why I want to whisper.

  12. I would rather whisper. If you shout then you would be disruptive. You could only tell a secret inside a soundproof room. I want to whisper so I don't lose my voice when I shout. I would then be polite If I whispered. That's why It's better to whisper than to shout.#24

  13. I would rather whisper because then I could go into the library without being kicked out! Another reason is I think it is better to be quiet. When people are always loud and shouting, it might make others mad or sad. And if I were shouting all the time, my parents would get headaches. Another reason is if I said something bad it would be loud but if I say it in a whisper maybe no one would hear. For all these reasons, I'd choose quiet over loud.

  14. I would rather whisper. I would rather whisper because when I go to Church I would NOT want to shout the songs. As another example when we do the money summary I whisper to myself so shouting is out of the question. Or mostly I talk to my friends I do NOT want the boys to hear! When I whisper or mumble about my parents being CRAZY then they won't hear me. YES! If you shout then that would be like yelling in someones ear exept your not. I choose whispering.

  15. I would rather whisper than shout. Whispering seems a lot better because if you could only shout then wouldn't I would loose my voice all the time? And I could live with only whispering because it's way easier to tell secrets. And if you yell everyone will think your crazy but if whisper then people would just think you're really shy. Unless you don't act shy. I like whispering better. Harmony #28

  16. I would rather shout all the time. I shout all the time anyway. My voice is naturally loud. I have tons of secrets but I do not tell any of them. At lunch I talk really loud. My sister talks louder than me but she is only 6 years old. I only talk loud when I am aloud to or in conversations.

  17. I would rather shout all the time. I would rather do that because I couldn't cheer my team on in baseball. Also, I always yell at recess but if I whispered nobody would hear me. When you whisper and you're in a conversation the person you are talking to would always say, "What."When I talk to people I'm usually pretty loud sometimes.Being loud is a lot better than whispering.

  18. That is a hard choice. Though I would have to choose to whisper. I would be able to get away with talking in class. Not that I ever do, HeHeHeHeHe!!! People would not want to hang out with me because, I would be like AHHH and they would be like stoooooop. Plus people have said often " Shelbi, speak up" so I am used to it. An those are my reasons an my answers to your questions. $helbi #22

  19. I would rather be able to whisper. This is because if I need to tell a secret, I don't have to remind my self to keep my voice down. Plus I probably could speak kind of loud. Loud enough for them to hear me. I hate shouting, and it will give me a sore throat. So this is why I would rather whisper than shout all the time.

  20. If we only can do whisper or shout? I would want to be whisper only. Mostly because Is good for your throut. Shout would hurt your throut when ever you talk. It make people think you are werid too. That's why I like whisper only.

  21. I would rather whisper. This because what if I want to say something to someone I dont' want to have everyone hear it. Also I wouldn't be able to keep a secret. Another reason my throat or esophagus would start to hurt.On the other hand I do shout a lot so it would be hard not too. That is why I would rather whisper.

  22. If I had a choice in whether I could only shout or only whisper I would much rather have to whisper. To explain, if you wanted to tell someone something personal and you could only shout then everyone would hear what you had to say. Then whatever you had to say to someone probably wouldn't be that personal anymore. Also people would probably get really irritated with me if I was yelling in their ear every second. That could burst someone's ear drum! Last of all I've met people who basically whisper and basically shout in a conversation and I usually like to have a conversation with the one who whispers then the one who shouts. So as a conclusion I would rather be able to only whisper then to only shout.

  23. I would rather whisper than shout because you wouldn't shout in the library. Also, if you didn't want anyone to know a secret but the person you are telling it to, you would not shout out the secret, you would whisper. Another reason why I think whispering is better than shouting is because when you shout, it could hurt someone else's ears. I would rather have to whisper than shout because you are not wasting your voice and making your throat hurt by shouting loudly. Also that if you would like to talk to someone, you would say rather quietly than loudly. So in conclusion, whispering is what I would rather have than shouting. :-)

  24. I would rather just wisper. I really don't mid if people can't hear me. Like I don't want to shout all the time. I think I also sound small so nobody will liston so there'll for get what imp trying to say. Also you could get in trouble for yelling. But you can also get in trouble for whispering. Great question though!!

  25. I would rather whisper because I dont need everyone hearing what I say. If i need to have a private conversation shouting will not work. If the teacher calls on me in class I will go up to her and tell her. I never really need to shout so whats the use. As long I as I can still talk either would be fine. But preferably I want the voice I have now. #25

  26. I would rather whisper then shout. I would because I do not like calling attention to myself. If I'm talking to myself then shouting would be bad. I would also what to whisper because you almost have to whisper every were. If you needed to tell some one something privately then you would be shouting and maybe hurt there ears. That is why I would rather whisper than shout.#30 valya

  27. I would rather shout than wisper. I would rather wisper than shout because shouting comes in handey when your playing baseball. The reason it would come in handy because when your in the in feild you always have to shout. But when your quite nobody can here you like if the teacher calls on you and than she would have to keep saying what, what, what.

  28. I would much rather whisper instead of shout. I choose this because I don't like to interact very much. Plus if I said something bad everybody could hear. I also choose this because I like the quiet it helps slow down your heartbeat. It even helps so people don't steal your Ideas. Thai is why I would much rather whisper. Nate

  29. I rather shout then whisper. I would rather shout because I love to shout. I do it all the time at places. I don' care if people stare it's just what I do I would tell them. But you might get in trouble for shouting in class. Also if you whisper you would be told a lot to speak up. So this is why I rather shout then whisper. Emma Bright #5

  30. I'd rather be just a person who could whisper. I say this because I could just take out a machine that projects my voice. Then I could just set the volume so it sounds like i'm talking in normal voice. Then I could tell whispers without getting in trouble. Then now we won't have to lose our voices. Then you wouldn't be able to yell at your parents so they wouldn't get mad at you.

  31. I would rather be able to whisper than shout because shouting can get to loud and annoying! If you could only shout than a lot of the time like during class you would barley be able to talk. If you could whisper you could talk a lot more than if you could shout. Whispering is better because you could not really hurt your throat or loose your voice! If you are telling a secret or a surprise for somebody you would practically have to go to a different country or part of the earth to say it! This is explains why I would rather only be able to whisper than only be able to shout! #8
